I’ve been coming here for a while and the service has greatly improved. I always get in and out in a timely manner. My manicurists does a great job of doing my nails how I like. My only complaint is that I wish they had more trendy polish options and nail art. Read Less

I came in today it just open up at 9@39 so I came in a man started on my nails he didn't speak engEngl so he started off cutting my cuticle I told him I was hurting he lauflau and made jokes so I asked for someone else he then got really mad and started saying bad things about me and they all started to laugh so I asked for the manager she was a woman I told he what happened she began to laugh so nobody said they was sorry except the other lady that did my toes so I would not recommend this place they not concerned about you just money Read Less

They had a sign that said walk ins welcome so I did, I walked in with my friend asked for a pedicure manicure and chin wax they said okay, but the Korean lady kept looking at me and said no we too full today you didn't make an appointment. She prejudged me because of my race and size, so I left feeling hurt. I went a little down Calumet and went into U.S Nail where I was greeted and treated like a human being and got all my needs met so that I could attend my brothers wedding. I understand People are afraid of black big people but I am an American and should be treated as such no foreign body has any right to sit in judgement of me or any other american especially when we give them our fat black dollars! Horrible. Is an understatement. I only came here because I moved. My first time here my no chip chipped in the first few days not to mention I sat in her her chair for over an hour just for a no chip. So I decided to give it another chance. Nope. I shouldn’t of spent any more money here. First off the girl was so rude. She couldn’t get my previous no chip off from another salon. So she was shaking her head and make all kinds of signs that she was annoyed. Then she didn’t even put the no chip all the way down to my cuticle. It looks likes a week and a half old out growth. The nail shop is nice and clean but the manager has an attitude problem, I like the way one nail tech does my nails and the manager would send me to someone else that doesn’t do a good job as the nail tech I requested, if i’m spending my money I should be able to have who I want to service me.. Horrible place went and got my nails done on Wednesday by Sunday the polish had came off went back to get it fixed the manager wanted the same person who messed it up to fix it I asked for someone new she said he messed up he needs to fix it. I came here to get my feet and nails done, I've been here before but never have I ever experienced anything like this. I asked for my nails and feet to be done. The man did my feet no problem, when it came to my nails he had made a few mistakes but i politely asked for him to correct the situation. He became very upset and snatched my hand then tells me he will fix it. I let him go on, when i was told to go wash my hands I'm literally standing 5 feet away from him and he begins to talk about me to his co worker. How I know that he was talking about me is because he continued in english saying something that i discussed with him, I am no fool and him and is counter part is just laughing away, Im looking the entire time and his co worker tries to stop laughing, the man who was talking sees me and tries to act like he wasn't saying anything. I come back to the table and sit down and tells him that i know he was talking about me and he tries to tell me he was talking about a man who just walked in, I said no you weren't and then he tried apologizing over and over. I will never recommend a place who talks about their customers. I want professionalism when I go to an establishment to receive service. This place will never get my business again, hate hate hate rude people. The worst place, there is too many nail shops around do not waste your time or money here. Read Less

The girl that did my eyebrows poked and yanked and seriously hurt me! I've never had anyone stick scissors in my eyebrows and just yank and was as painful as it was. She didn't even cut them upwards and shape them, when I left, I noticed in the car I still had wax on my brows. My manicure wasn't the greatest either, I kept having to tell her where to cut and clean them bc she missed spots. Visited Lee Nails with my mom for pedicure and dipping manicure. Pedicure ladies were wonderful young girls, no problem. However, when I asked if they did dipping powder no chip manicures, they should have said no. They used my mom and I as guinea pigs basically and attempted to do this type of manicure for the first time. I get the dipping powder all the time in Dallas and love it. These two (an older male and female) had no clue what they were doing. My guy filed my nails down to the skin, and burned me with an automatic filer. Both my mom's nails and mine did not look good upon leaving and the whole experience was just terrible. The owner then tried to charge us full price, my mom explained as though we felt that they were just practicing on us and we did not want to pay full price. The owner lied saying her techs knew what they were doing and did not want to hear it. She gave us each a whopping $5 off. I know that we will not be returning. Horrible! Horrible! Horrible! This place is absolutely horrible. The man who did my manicure, spilled acetone on my nails before they were dry, and instead of starting over and fixing them, he tried to polish over them. Less than a half hour later, my manicure is already coming off. I asked him to fix it. He laughed and said yeah yeah yeah but would not. Then he also made my nails straight across instead around, hehe just really wrecked my night and my weekend by all of this craziness. When I asked for my money back, I was told no. I would not recommend it. They told me I was too big for their chairs. They told me to wait in the car. I wanted a pedicure. My friend got her nails done. They did a good job. But it could've been better the guy messed up. She went back in and he corrected it. But when you were told you are too big to sit in a chair when you sit in your Office you're never break it I'm very offended. The little short lady manager was very rude arrogant. All I wanted was an apology. It took her forever to do it. I want there when it opened many years ago it was good I was a regular customer. But I would think twice now. Read Less

Just left this place and it was the worst experience I ever had at a nail salon. I picked my color, which the person doing my nails did not explain to me ahead of time that the color stays clear unless your hands are sweaty. I was going my the sample color which was a dark purple. After she did my fist hand, first coat only. I asked if it was going to be this light, she didn't answer me. When she did the second hand first coat only, I asked again if it was going to be this light. She said something and I couldn't understand her. She just kept going ignoring my concerns. When it was all done I stated again I did not like it and would be going someone where else to get it fixed. She got a huge attitude problem. Physically grabbing my hand and throwing nail polish on my hand. Another lady redid them, but the nail polish is bumpy and she missed spots. To top it all off the person doing my moms nail, made her bleed and he tried to put the blame on her. Will never go back to this place again. Read Less

Lee's Nail Salon just lost a faithful customer because Ashley who works at the front desk does not know how to manage the flow of service and has horrible customer service skills. I was thee first, I repeat thee first customer in the salon, I advised Ashley that I would like both a fill-in and a pedicure. All technicians were available at the time as I was the first customer. Ashley seats me with a young lady who proceeds to give me a pedicure. After a half hour passed additional customers begin to flow in. After my pedicure was done she proceeds to sit me at the front waiting area to dry, I reminded them that I was to receive a fill-in also. They told me It would be a few minutes longer for a technician. After 20 minutes I'm growing impatient. One of the other technicians who finished a pedicure grabbed me so that she could start on my fill-in. She proceeds to start and "Ashley" comes over to tell the technician that her last customer wants a manicure too and tells me to get out of my seat and go back to the waiting area and wait longer. I reminded Ashley that I was the first customer before anyone in the salon and I should not be waiting. Ashley proceeds to tell me that I'm waiting because my pedicure technician that SHE SELECTED FOR ME did not do fingernails so I had to wait. I reminded her that when I arrived every technician was available therefore, when I advised her that I would need both services done she should have given me a technician who could provide both services. Ashley advised me in a horrible tone that I would just have to wait. Another technician interrupts her and advises that he is almost done and can take me and tells her that I really shouldn't be waiting. Even a customer in the Salon intervened and said it wasn't right but Ashley's poor attitude remained. I don't patronize businesses that don't know how to treat their customers. Ashley is clearly in the wrong profession and needs to be working for the Department of Corrections or Collections. I appreciate the gentleman stepping in and taking care of me but I will not be back. Read Less

This is my all time favorite nail salon. Clean facility, friendly staff and high quality service. I recently moved out of state and every time I come  home I make sure to head over to LEE NAILS to get a pedi and mani before I take off to Colorado. Nothing compares! Read Less

I decided to try this place today. Environment is not friendly nor relaxing. Tech starts doing my nails I look up to see a small sign stating no tips allowed on credit or debit cards...what kind of business does that? You would think they would inform you when you walk in. Hurts no one but techs..Shameful. Also take a look at size of serviced menu/price list. How is anyone supposed to read that? That my friends is specifically used for deception. By far, the worst nail salon I've ever been to. Today, my daughter and I went in for a manicure and a simple gel polish. The man who polished my nails was aggressive, rude, and unprofessional. I ended up with 10 coats of gel on my nails, which I'm assuming will be bubbling off within two days. He forgot one of the cure steps, probably because he was taking personal cellophone calls while he was working on my hands. I attempted to complain to the woman who took the payment and tried explaining the matter to her, she acted as if that was normal practice. She wouldn't even give me the name of the manager, only to tell me he wasn't there and is only in two day a week. Nice. Read Less

Horrible customer service! I asked for a no chip manicure.This is what I got.He did it extremely sloppy n kept adding more coats to try to fix it.Then when he was done I complained and said I didn't like it,can he fix them with another color he got up and stormed off.One of the other technicians redid my nails.If you do go to Lee Nails,stay away from the Asian male nail  technicians and stick with one of the 3 Mexican girls,they are amazing,only problem is you need to set an appt for them. The pedicure was lame. The water was tepid. The nail techs were rude. I told the tech I wanted my arcrylic nails soaked off. He said, "that takes too long." He grabbed my hand and to my horror proceeded to rip them off with a credit card! When I protested, he said, one is off, l just finish the rest." Then they charged me $45! This was a downright violent partial pedicure.  The technician threw my feet about with without any care or consideration whatsoever.  When I asked him to be a bit more gentle, he told me "you still no move."  Currently gathering my belongings and leaving with unpolished toes for my event tonight.  If you don't care about safety or consideration, I highly recommend! This place is disgusting.  I should have walked out when I had to remind the nail tech to use new, sterilized tools, but he apologized and got new tools from the autoclave.  Half way through my manicure, I looked down and noticed the tech was holding his hand in a strange way to hide something.   Looking closer, I noticed he had WARTS on his hand!  Those are contagious!!!  I immediately washed my hands and asked for another tech.    On my way out, he was doing someone's nails.  No Band-Aids on or plastic gloves. This is one of the best "strip mall" nail salons I have been to. I always get a pedicure and they take a nice long time massaging my legs and feet-my favorite part! There are a variety of pedicures to chose from as well as nail colors. They have really sophisticated massage chairs as well! Read Less

Great for a quick mani or pedi, friendly staff members, lots of colors from which to choose. Typical nail spa in a strip mall. Clean, but nothing fancy. No complaints, my nails still look great after 10 days. Read Less
