Today is a beautiful day outside and I decided to stop at Diamond Nails in MC. City to have my Eyebrows done.  I saw two women waiting to be served and there were customers already being served.  I had no problem with waiting but I walked into the nail salon and the owner or part owner was servicing a customer. She said ''what do you need done''?  My reply ''I would like to have my eyebrows done''.  Her response ''I don't have time is what I thought she said''.  I said politely excuse me and she cleaned it up a little and stated ''I don't have time right now''.  I politely walked out with my money without uttering one word.  I have learned through the years that silence is a great weapon too.  Thank you Diamond Nails for your great customer service and have a wonderful day! I paid for a full set of gel nails and got the CHEAPEST ACRYLIC!!! I was charged $10 for a certain cut that no other nail salon would charge for! The lady did my nails terribly. I'm a house wife so there's no reason i had a nail snap off!!! I found the best salon in LaPorte, C & K Nails, i recommend them to everyone who has got their nails messed up by The Awful Diamond Nails. Read Less

Literally never felt so disgusted, as it is the only reason I still patronize this place is because ruby does amazing eyebrows. Well after today I won't be back! My service will be GLADLY taken else where. Walked in, no one spoke to me so I stood quiet for a second then decided to ask is ruby here THE RUDE OWNER responded yes and then continued to ignore me, I stood there about 5 more minutes I thought maybe he was getting her because she wasn't in her chair and I didn't see her at all.... so then I ask excuse me do you know how long the wait will be he responds idk I said ok is she even here he said yes she with someone else 30 minutes!?!? Got my daughters and my step daughter's nails done here, and also a pedicure for my step daughter.  it was very clean and staff was nice,  and since they were younger I wasn't charged full price for their services which I thought was really nice of them. Even though they didn't charge full price for her pedicure,they still gave her the full treatment with a leg massage, and foot massage and everything.They offer a wide variety of different Services; I will definitely be returning.  When I called to make an appointment I was told they were walk-in only, but it was no problem as the girls were were seen as soon as we walked in. I truly indulge myself with their deluxe spa pedicure - which by the way, is absolute heaven!!!!Their no chip selection is amazing! If you come here try not to have one of the white girls do your nails. They're rude and both times they did my nails they turned out sloppy. One time the girl had something sharp stuck under my acrylic nail and told me "that's just how acrylics are" and didn't want to redo it. I asked for the most experienced nail tech but I clearly got a rookie. He kept filing/buffing the TOP of my nails even when I asked him to stop! My nails felt like they were burning! My nails are very thin and obviously filing or over buffing the already thin surface can only thin them more. However, after my voicing my opinion they put me with Lynn to finish my service. She seemed very knowledgable and did a nice job to finish my nails. If they accepted appointments I would book with Lynn. Read Less

first let me start off by saying that I am a server and I'm on my feet all day at work. I went into diamond nail salon to get a pedicure but I really wanted a massage for the bottoms of my feet. I walked in and told the original lady that I wanted a pedicure but I wanted the massage and she suggested that I get the deluxe package so I agreed. After I picked my color the young girl that was supposed to be doing my pedicure with sitting down in the chair on her phone and when instructed to start helping me to look busy she was irritated and I wasn't me a thing her. Once we get started I over heard her talking to a nother customer who after how her trip was and the girl working on my feet said "great I came back sick" and start sniffling and coughing while doing my pedicure. Halfway through my pedicure or the original lady I spoke to had to remind the young girl that I was getting a deluxe Pedicure and the young girls response was "oh wow" and then started adding in what they call deluxe.while the girl was doing my pedicure I reminded her that I really came in for the massage to the bottoms of my feet because I'm a server and she said that would be no problem. She proceeded to rub her knuckles up and down the bottoms of my feet about 4 times never touching my heels or toes. I feel as if I wasted $45 and because I am in the customer service business I Still tipped 20%. I understand that this is not a massage parlor or a physical therapy office but when I came in requesting exactly what I wanted each person I talked to said that they could accommodate my request and they did not I will never go back to this establishment and again I feel like I wasted $45 Read Less

The owner was rude and confrontational after I requested "John" to do my no chip manicure. John who happens to be very good, is not working at Diamond Nails except on a limited schedule. "Anna" (?)the owner was not happy with me for asking about John's schedule and mentioning that I had a poor no chip manicure previously by a girl named "Angelique", so she was not an option. If John is working elsewhere I would like to know since I would gladly go to him in another location. With the competitive business and large number of nail salons available in the Crown Point area, I frankly was surprised at the owner's behavior. It does appear that "John's" limited presence in the Diamond Nails salon has adversely impacted their business. Read Less
