Please stay away from this place. I went in for a  no-chip manicure, the technician was rude and in a rush. It seemed to me like she was still in training. After two coats of nail polish I pointed out to her that my nails had air pockets and bumps in them she told me that it was just my nails -_-  her coworker helped her fix them but she didn't like that. They went back and fort, it made me very uncomfortable. She kept tossing my hands back and forth, VERY RUDE. Not a clean place either. I'm not giving this place a second chance it's that bad. I came in this morning as the first costumer, tell me why I sat down and the tech filed my nails down, didn't say a word and walked away for 15 minutes leaving me in the chair to wait while they took other costumers. Very rude service. I will not be coming back. There are better places in the area such as nail spa right down the street. Read Less

I always try to go somewhere at least twice before I leave a review. This is one of those times. I have been here three times. The first time, all went well. Walked in, and shortly after a very nice man did my nails. No problems at all. The next time I was not so fortunate as the man who did my nails, (who I later found out is the owner) decided to remove my no-chip polish by soaking my hands in ziplock bags full of acetone. As you can imagine this irritated my hands, gave me a rash, and destroyed my long NATURAL nails. After this visit, they began to curl in-wards, and break up by the quick- even with a no chip. This last visit I was in a hurry, they are right down the street and I figured I could just request someone else. Well, while getting my nails done, I discussed what happened on the last visit with my nail tech. I guess the owner heard me but instead of coming over to apologize he decided to start getting loud, in my face, shouting at me that I was wrong. It was humiliating, disturbing, and had I not had my hands soaking I would have walked out. I will NEVER go here again. Unprofessional and unsanitary. This place and the owner are CRAZY. I had my hair and nails done at Ultimate Nails and Beauty today and as always I came away very happy. Hair was done by Laura who is great and I was really happy with the result. Clare did my nails and they are gorgeous as usual. Really friendly, professional, quality salon with great staff and I wouldn't go anywhere else 5* highly recommended. Read Less

I called this place ahead of time to see if they could take my friend and i because I know I live an hour away and I didn't want to drive for nothing. when I called the gentlemen said he would be able to take us so we drove there. When we got there they were very busy and we were waiting for 20 min. just to start which wasn't a problem for us. The lady that took me was extremely mad she had to stay past her time to do my nails and the lady which is assumed to be the owner was EXTREMELY RUDE and my friend showed her a picture of what she wanted and she said she could do it. while already into half way doing it the owner told her she didn't have the same color as the picture so my friend tried to find another picture of something else she wanted and the (owner) was yelling at her and arguing with her about the color in the picture. my friend then agreed on a picture with gemstones and the lady put them on and my friend noticed they were crooked and said something to her and the owner continued to argue with her. The lady that did mine was rushing through and these were important to me as these nails will be in my engagement photos. I picked out a picture I really wanted and she kept coming up with excuses as to why I shouldn't get them and she was aggravated and gave me an attitude the whole entire time. two days over a week my thumbnail already broke and three are about ready to pop off at the cuticle. That is rushed and sloppy work. I called them to see if they would re do just the nails that are lose and broke and they said I would have to pay for fill ins now. When a normal full set usually lasts 2 to 3 weeks. i will never go there again and I would not recommend this place at all! Read Less

I went to get a fill in and color change. I got there at 12:10 in the afternoon. My nail stylist started to soak my nails. (Now I only came in for a fill in) I asked why we needed to soak them and he said to remove the polish and gel... I have had my nails done multiple times and NEVER has anyone soaked them to begin a fill in. Well once he was done with that he proceeded to do my nails. I picked a neon pink color to begin with and he pulled a red color. By this time I had already been in the chair for an hour and decided not to say anything and stick with the red. It's now almost  1:25 and am finally done. I got out to the car and noticed my nails were bumpy and awful looking! I went back in to complain and the guy refiled my nails and repainted them the neon pink I wanted in the first place. There were still spots of red on my nails. I told him and he said, any gel polish will cover it. He proceeded to paint my nails and the end result was somewhat better, but still looked awful! You can see the red spots and my nails are still bumpy. NEVER EVER would I recommend someone to go there. I don't even want to give this salon 1 star.. Read Less

All the staff are incredibly professional and very friendly, they really make you feel welcome. The products they use are top of the range, the service and quality of their work (both the hair dressers and the beauty treatments - especially the acrylic nails) is incredible and yet the prices are very reasonable. This place isn't bad.  A man did my nails which I wasn't sure about when he started, but all I needed was a fill in and some nail color.  He seemed to have much experience, but I didn't particularly like the way he shaped them.  They weren't all even and it felt like he spent way to much time on the left side of my nails (his right side).  At first I wasn't super enthusiastic about my nails, but then they grew on me.  Probably because I liked the color.  I also had a pedicure.  The massage chair was nice, and the foot massage was nice.  The salon was neat and clean.  All in all it wasn't a bad experience.  My nails look ok, but I would shop around if you're looking for something incredible.  Next time I will probably try a differen't place. I'm still on the hunt for a good nail salon since blowing out of DC...My massage therapist said a few of her clients are regulars at this place, so I decided to give it a try. I arrived at 9:30 AM--the time they're supposed to open--only to tug on a locked door. I returned to the car and sat. Ten minutes later, a man propped the door open. I'm not sure if he noticed me waiting in the car, but he didn't flag me in. I just approached the door. He'd already disappeared into the back, and emerged five minutes later. I was handed over to a woman by the name of Tim (not positive of the spelling). She's an older lady, whose English is limited to "here," "down," and "pay now." One of the random men in the salon informed me of her name, after her response to that question was an uncomfortable chuckle. We had many chuckles throughout our hour and half mani-pedi session. It was like I was talking to myself, and she was a delighted observer. Tim was neat. She did a fairly good job removing excess paint from my fingers and toes. There were some practices that were questionable to me as far as cleanliness, like running that nasty public drill around my cuticles, and using the public cheese grater like thing to remove dead skin from my feet. Neither of those items was sterilized. That concerned me. While I would've enjoyed some good conversation during my session, and the reassurance that I wasn't exposed to some bacteria, it wasn't the worst nail session to date. Much to her surprise and gratitude, I tipped Tim and the end of the service, and she helped me over to the drying station. I was in and out in under two hours. Read Less
