I was quoted 28 dollars for a full set, and when asked what i wanted, i told him short length, natural look, no design. I was NOT told that there would be any price change. When my nails were complete, i was charged 50 dollars. I feel like i was taken advantage of. the full on experience hurt my nails. i’ve had acrylics before and my skin around my nails has never bled before. i got a coffen shaped nail and they are crooked. the acrylic powder that got on the back of the nail was not cleaned off and is now hard. also i went swimming and the nail color had a brown green coating on them. they put matte top coat and not glossy like i had asked. personally will not go back! I was terribly disappointed today with my pedicure. I have always had a great experience at Bella until today. The technician was more worried about the customers coming in than providing their normal good service. I watched the two sitting beside me get the great pedicure. I will not be going back ever. They are very rude. She keeps filing until I bleed even when I pulled away and say ouch. Uneven and botched nails. Horrible paint job. My fingers are still hurting 2 hours after service. I walked in at 11 and left at 2:30 they took several people before me even though I was there first. They charge way too much and the price is different every time. Billy is great but the rest of them are awful and how can Billy knowingly let other people be treated that way. I used to love this place, but my last two experiences have been horrible. They will let you know if the tip they receive is not enough (I tipped what I did because they made my nails bleed), so be aware you will be confronted. This time around I was looking forward to a nice relaxing mani/pedi but this woman performed the fastest manicure and pedicure I have ever seen. The gel manicure doesn't even cover my whole nail and she ripped my skin on my two big toes. I'm 9 months pregnant and was looking forward to this being my last mani/pedi before the baby gets here. My boyfriend and I wanted to experience our first pedicure together. We called 5 nail salons in Lafayette with no openings. Bella Nail Spa answered and invited us both in. When we arrived, several employees greeted us and within 5 minutes we were in our massage chairs. The women were nice, their massages were delicate, the buffing a pinch rough, but great over all! Went to get a mani. I decided that I would just do a regular polish since I have been doing it at home and they have looked nice and been lasting for almost a week. I normally get the gel polish. So I went to Bella Nail and asked for a regular mani with regular polish. It looked terrible! She charged me $15 before painting and I gave a $5 tip. They do that so you don't mess your nails up when paying. Had I known how awful they would look I would have not tipped ahead of time. Well what was done was done. I thought it's not that bad. I left and went to Pick up my sister to do some shopping. She said my nails weren't great but ok. As the day of shopping went on my nails got worse and worse. Wish I would have taken a picture. I decided to go back to have them fixed. My nails looked like my 3 year old nephew painted them. Upon arrival they noticed  that I was back from this morning and the lady that painted my nails came up to me a looked at them. I said I need them redone they are awful looking. She just looked at my nails and went back to a pedicure she had been working on. I sat and waited. Then a gentlemen said miss I can help you over here. I got up and sat down at his booth. I told him I was there this morning already and my nails look terrible. He did my nails and this time I ask him to do the gel polish. When he was done I thought maybe a charge for the upgrade but not full price. I was charge another $25 and gave a $5 tip. I feel bad not to tip he didn't mess up my nails the first time. one of the worst experiences I've had getting my nails done. The last time I was there the wife of the owner told me her husband, the owner, could do ombre French nails and how much it would cost. So this last time I went in there he told me they don't have the powder to be able to do it. The guy who ended up doing my nails hurt me the entire time and still over 24 hours later my nails still hurt. I would NOT recommend this place at all! Read Less

The nail technician I had was quiet, but definitely knew what she was doing! Only the second time I've had acrylics done, and I can't get over them! She did a fantastic job of thinning the nail down so they don't feel clunky at all, and everyone I've shown them to has thought they were real! 4 stars because she did hurt my finger when filing a nail down (used an electric nail file on the tip of my finger), and because they required me to pay before they would paint my nails. Left me feeling like they thought I was a thief who was going to try and skip out on them. Trust your patrons more!Read Less

Worst experiance ever!!! I got a pedi and a full set today, and no complaints about my pedicure, it was fine. But my full set nails are the worst. So I asked for coffin shaped nails, and he gave me square, and told him that I wanted them more narrow, and he said he knew what I wanted. And "tried" to make them more narrow, but I he didn't. And you can see the texture through my nail polish, he didn't smoothen my nails correctly and they look like trash. And about an hour after..., I noticed that my thumb nail had already come unglued from the fake nail. He knew I wasn't content, and he over charged me $1, because he knew I wasn't going to tip for the terrible quality he was giving, my tab was $26 and $28 dollars for my pedi and full set, and he charged me $55, he knew what he was doing, they deal with those same numbers everyday, no way it was an accident. I've have a lot of small unpleasant experiences at this place, but I was always able to look past it, there's only one guy in this place that does a good job, the rest of them are crap nail techs that don't even seem like they're trying. I've been going here for years. The people are friendly! Billy and Kim (owners) are great at what they do. Bella (their daughter) sometimes comes and greets the customers. I "helped" her make cupcakes one time. And you can't forget the decor! So serene. If you want a fun and friendly place to go to I would definitely check this place out! Read Less

A friend recommended this salon and I thought I'd give it a shot after several bad experiences at other salons. I got a pedicure, and it was by far the best one I have gotten in years ! I went here because another salon recommended them because they didn't do solar nails. Needless to say it was a good experience. Great pedicures and they did a nice job on my nails as you can see from both pics. Just ask and they will make you a great design on them. Friendly staff and Lena did an awesome pedicure on me.
