Unprofessional business. Never had a problem until now. Waited over an hour to even be seen and never got seen. These two ladies were there before I got there, no big deal, but this lady’s daughter decided she wanted a manicure about 20 minutes after her pedicure was done and instead of taking who was next which should of been me, they took her. I don’t think that was right at all. To me that was unprofessional of them to do that. I will not be back.

I have tried going here 3 times and I will never go back. I wouldn't have this time but my sister was treating me. It was a waste of time and money. We both had pedis but I was very disappointed again. Hers was better but not by much. I ended taking her to the one in Markland mall last week and she was amazed at how much attention they paid to us, spent over an hour working on our feet which included an amazing message. The price was the same at both places. My sister even said she will never go back to Star Nails.

Very pleased with this salon! My usual was closed today and I really wanted a pedi. So glad I found this place! I will definitely return! Only suggestion I could make is to stop playing news on the tv. I come to relax and I really don’t enjoy listening to CNN yammer on about their take on what’s going on. (Or any news what so ever). Much prefer when there’s no tv or when places play beautiful scenery with music. Other than that I would highly recommend Star Nails!

This place charged me for polish change on toes & design on big toe, manicure,gel polish & designs a whooping $65. I didn't pay that much in ATL this is outrageous for a small town. And this was not my first time I went there a few times before & never got charged that much. I really don't mind paying for my nails if I get what I ask for,but I didn't even got that.After a few times some nail owner get to greedy. They will not see me again.....

I haven't been able to find a good nail salon in a long time; my nails were just butchered at the last place I tried in Peru. I went here on a whim because a good friend from out of town needed a fill done and my nails had finally recovered the last catastrophe. I was seated immediately and the woman was very friendly and knowledgeable when I asked questions. For $38 I got a full set with shellac and a design (which is pretty cheap compared to some places). My nails look amazing and I wasn't there for an unreasonable amount of time either! My 8 year old daughter also got her nails trimmed, filed, and painted and they only charged $5! They definitely have my business from here on out!

They charged me full price on my 2nd visit I was in for a fill so 80 bucks twice. Decided I wouldn't go back for another fill and went to a different place/town. Also decided Monday I'd just get fake nails taken off and let real ones grow out so I was close to Star Nails and went in I've NEVER had nails removed by ripping them off others soak your nails. Not this place 6 out of 10 were ripped below the attached part half way across I'm still in pain. DON'T EVER GO TO THIS PLACE

The man was rude. He was obviously talking about me in his native tongue because the other employee kept looking over at my nails and the commenting. Also he was apparently in such a hurry to get my nails done that he ended up cutting me 5 times with his drill/tool. When he was shaping the nails he kept running it up over my skin. One of the cuts was actually bleeding when he was polishing my nails and he didn't even bother to apologize.

This is my third try finding a good nail salon in Kokomo. I got a manicure and had nails done in gel. It was ok-- nothing special--and a bit pricey compared to what I am accustomed to in southern Indiana. I doubt I'll be back. My search will continue when I next find myself in Kokomo in need of nails being done.

This salon has the typical overpowering artificial nail smell, but if you can bear it for the length of a manicure, go for it. They work very quickly and the results are great. $29 for a shellac. I wouldn't recommend a pedicure simply because they use jetted foot tubs which can be unsanitary.

Went to star nails on markland today and I walked out in the middle of getting my nails done the lady was trying to hurry and do them she had to fix one nail three times because it wasn't even or same length so all my nails are super short and then proceeded to get mad at me and told me she couldn't do a daisy I can do those on my own nails how did you get your nail technician license I'm confused and my moms toes were screwed up

Unprofessional business. Never had a problem until now. Waited over an hour to even be seen and never got seen. I have tried going here 3 times and I will never go back. I wouldn't have this time but my sister was treating me. It was a waste of time and money. We both had pedis but I was very disappointed again. Hers was better but not by much. The man was rude. He was obviously talking about me in his native tongue because the other employee kept looking over at my nails and the commenting. It was ok-- nothing special--and a bit pricey compared to what I am accustomed to in southern Indiana. I doubt I'll be back.
