I dislike poor reviews, but was encouraged to do so after telling others what happened here. This review is for 3 people... I took 2 girls with along for birthday mani/pedi's. The girls wanted matching colors, and I specifically pointed this out 3 times during the process, and so did the girls. I realize English is not the primary language, but they indicated full understanding. The two nail techs communicated nail colors by using numbers. One girl ended up with blue whi...le the other ended up with purple, even after I questioned why one looked blue and the other purple. Both girls' polish were messed up when the techs put their flip flops on for them. They were not offered a redo. The male nail tech was eating during my daughter's manicure. I'm not sure if this is allowed by the Indiana State Health Department. For myself, my pedicure was very nice. However, my nails are a terrible account. I specifically asked to soak off my acrylic nails for a gentle removal. The male tech was not patient, and despite my questioning him, he took my nails out of the soak, and insisted on using a tool to pry the remaining acrylic off. I objected, but he insisted, assuring me it would be ok. He hurt me several times to the point of me jerking my hand away and telling him he was hurting me. He kept apologizing and each time assured me he would not hurt again. After ripping off several of my nails up to the nail bed, and tearing off the top layers of nails, I insisted on finishing soaking them at home. He resisted and insisted on continuing, completely ignoring my requests. I was near tears and very furious at this lack of skill and customer service. I voiced my concerns the female nail tech, who only advised him to use the sanding tool. He burnt my nail bed on the one I let him attempt. (It is still red 24 hours later). He ripped off another nail and I refused to allow any more. I went home to finish the removal of the remaining acrylic. I was then told I still had to pay for this. And full price for the uncorrected messed up polish on both girls' in matching pedicures. $140 total. I realize I should have simply insisted on continuing to soak my nails, but they didn't seem to even care. I SHOULD have walked out when they wouldn't allow me to finish the soaking process. I SHOULD have insisted on redos for the girls, but we had already been there over 2 hours. And I probably would have had to pay for the redos. But, a customer should NEVER have to insist on quality service. I hope the manager can review the security video and watch this experience. This was the absolutely worst nail salon experience.
