I second "if I could give this place a zero I would." The absolute worst experience at a nail shop ever. This place is wayyyy OVERPRCIED. I have never paid $65 for a gel mani & pedi. Not only did the guy have no personality and didn't talk to me the whole time when I walked in I asked if they could do a design. He said yes. I only reason I was there was because I saw they could do designs from previous customer pics. He told me to show him the design when he got to my nails. The color I wanted depended on if they could do the design. All I wanted was a unicorn on 2 nails. While he was doing my feet I repeatedly told him I wanted regular polish on my feet & gel on my hands. He put the gel polish I picked out on my feet which made me mad. Then, he made my toes bleed because he was being careless with the callus scrubber. Didn't apologize or anything. Also, when he was done with the pedi he also didn't help me with my things to the nail chair like everyone else does. Showed him the unicorn I wanted and he said he couldn't do it. Showed another picture, said they couldn't do it. Showed him a pic of pink sparkles & he said they don't have those. I said WELL, DO YOU HAVE ANY SPARKLES?! He said, yeah but they don't look like that. At this point I'm pissed because I wanted black if I couldn't get the blue with design that I wanted or I was going to try another place. At this point he could tell I was irritated so he asked about the sparkles. I threw my hands up & said no, just give me the blue. Now you can tell I'm annoyed you want to be "helpful." These nails look like something I could have done myself. I usually get my nails done in Carmel get a mani & pedi for less than $55 and there's no up charge for you to scrub my feet. I will never come back to this shop ever and I hope they close down. Read Less

If I could put ZERO stars I would. The lady who did my full acrylic set, was angry with me because I didn’t want gel. I was on a budget and I needed something simple. Instead of doing her job professionally, despite what was best for me, she gave me the worst nail experience I’ve EVER had. She cut up 5 of my fingers, bad enough they all bled. She didn’t talk to me the entire time, and littlerally threw my hands around in frustration. When I left I still had glue all over my fingers, AND my paint job was sloppy. My nails were so thin that they started chipping off, most have popped off. I get Gel nails are where it’s at and acrylic are whack. But for them to be completely worthless after 6 days is pretty ridiculous. What else is sad, is the fact that this woman was very nice to me after I gave her a nice tip. If I could give this salon a negative star count, I would. They charged me 50+$ for a basic gel mani(not acrylic) and had to be redone four times. Then proceeded to charge me more for how long it took. When I asked questions about the menu and how it cost so much, the owner started yelling at me for it taking so long. Things only further escalated when they cut my friends finger open while trimming her Cuticles and her finger was gushing. They refused to refund us or discount anything. I don't even want to give this place one star. To start the menu prices are far from the truth. You will over pay for a bad job on your nails. I don't mind to spend more on good work but this was awful. I simply wanted a fill in with red French tips. It went from $22 to $45. I have never spent that much on a fill in. I have definitely spent that on a full set. Easily but my nails just needed filled. She had red polish all over my hands and it was a very sloppy job. Expressed my concern and expressed that I didn't want them fixed anymore bc we had already been here 2 full hours and I had to get to work. My friend got just a set of gel nails and they some how charged her $50. Also took even longer than my fill in and gel polish and looked pretty bad, definitely not worth $50. When the woman tried fixing my nails she just cut all my skin off my nails and one nail was dripped blood. My fingers are sore and hurt and I have NEVER in my life had someone be more rude to me when all I wanted was my money back. They tried to tell me they could only give me $10 off or have to take my nails off. I did not have time for someone to remove my nails that I came in there with!!! It was only a fill and polish! NEVER COME HERE THEY ARE SO RUDE!!!! It's pretty bad that I work in this industry and I know that people can be challenging but I'm not overpaying for someone to cut my finger open!!! I left with nails the shape I didn't like, one of my nails completely crooked and the lengths don't match at all. Having just moved to the area, I tried several different nail salons in hopes of finding my next routine spot. I was pleasantly surprised at how clean, professional, and beautiful the salon was. Not to mention that my gel manicure lasted nearly 3 weeks, which rarely ever happens. The entire staff here is very courteous, although I would highly suggest a appointment as they get very busy. Try to find a place to get your nails done on a Sunday that has enough staff for the Sunday crowds.  I dare you.  It's almost impossible. Or at least at the first two salons that I went to proved my statement as true.  One salon even had their doors locked 30 minutes before closing.  Then I called Ooh La La at 4:30 P.M. (they closed at 6 P.M.) and was encouraged to come in.  I drove from Broad Ripple immediately.  I wanted the dipping powder off of my nails badly and today after I split two nails this afternoon.  I arrived at 4:45 P.M. and was immediately seated to have the powder set I had put on removed.  By the time it was almost dissolved of Eva came and took care of my nails with care and precision.  Not only was she friendly but she also wanted my manicured nails to look good!   She finished right at 6 P.M. and I am totally pleased with the results.  I will definitely visit again! I'll more than likely never be back here. My girlfriend and I stopped in to get a fill in and for her to get a gel mani. The woman doing her mani cut her with the cuticle cutters and proceeded to try and continue the service saying "it's ok". It is actually against health code to continue performing a service on a client if you've cut them; as you need to disinfect the utensils and the area itself. (I'm a cosmetologist so I know the board rules & nail salons fall under the same health board as hair salons) The woman kept trying to do the service while my friend was calm and telling her she couldn't do it anymore. She got up and walked out and they kept trying to offer her a free polish. On to my service, as you can see from the picture attached the woman did a HORRIBLE job cleaning out from underneath my nails. I was also charged $45 for a fill in and a polish which is ridiculous. The only time I've ever paid that much for my nails is when I get a full new set put on. I've also had my nails just over a week and they're so thin they are breaking already I won't be back. I have been going to Ooh Lala Nails for months now. I have had both Pao and Tommy as my nail techs and love the work that they do. I typically book with Tommy as I tend to make last minute appointments. I appreciate the work Tommy does on my nails and I walk out every time loving my nails. One should note that I am picky when it comes to my nails and he is patient with me and makes sure that my nails look how I want them to. I just moved here from Atlanta and this was the first place I tried bc they stayed open until 7:30 instead of 7:00 and I needed my nails done asap! Being from Atlanta I am used to nail salons being up to date with all the new styles, shapes, and nail trends so I was very skeptical about Indiana. I came in to get SNS (dip powder) and they didn't have a selection of powder colors but Ava was able to offer me an alternative solution and made it look just as good (clear dip powder with my choice of polish over it)! This is my go-to nail salon as I live and work on the North side of Indianapolis. I have never had to wait more than 20 minutes. I've had several gel manicures, regular manicures and pedicures. Usually I'm very satisfied but this last time I went, my gel nail color has become discolored after 5 days. Very frustrating. Today was my first time at Ooh La La salon. I am getting married on Saturday and leaving tomorrow for the remainder of the week so I needed to get a mani-pedi last minute. I called ahead to make an appointment. When I arrived the staff was very friendly and welcoming. I've been into other salons where they seem to rush you in and out and barely take the time to smile at you. My nail tech was amazing. I believe her name was Cindy. I told her about my upcoming wedding and she made sure to make my nails looked extra perfect, even applying top coats and painting beautiful designs for my pedi. She was able to keep a conversation going with me for the whole hour and a half I was there which is a plus--I didn't have to sit in awkward silence. The only downfall was that the ceiling started to leak right next to where my chair was--not their fault, things happen! As soon as she noticed she moved me over so myself and my belongings would not be soaked. I could not recommend her and his salon enough. I will definitely be back! Read Less

I have been in Indy for a year, and tried multiple nail salons. I was not happy with any of them until I went to Ohh Lala. This place is great. The staff is friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. The facility is very clean, and they use throw away linings for their pedicure tubs so it is very sanitary. I had a fourth of July pedicure done and they put cute fire works on my big toe. It lasted a long time and everyone comented on how cute it was. The pricing was reasonable and there was only a 5$ charge for the design. Great experience, I highly recommend them. Read Less

I've been coming here for over a year with out any issues. Recently, my favorite nail tech left, so I had to use another, which was fine when I got a pedi, but when I came in a couple weeks later to get a soak off and full set the lady was rude and unwilling to do my full set until I asked another lady. Although she ended up doing them, she was silent the entire time and acting as if she didn't want to do them and was being forced to 😒. She even got to the point where when the soak off was almost done, she asked me to go to a different shop because she wasn't willing to do them "how I asked". My first time here was by complete accident. I was on my way to another salon when they told me I had an hour and a half wait, I decided to come to Ohh La La Nails to try my luck. I was greeted by a friendly receptionist and offered water for my 20 minute wait for a mani pedi. CK did my pedicure and I can't begin to tell you how awesome she is. She's very detailed with her work and was very conversational the whole time, which I enjoyed.Today, Cole did my full set and it looks great. He explained the variations of nail edges and gave me recommendations for the most natural look. He's very humble and does excellent work. "You get what you pay for"-Not . They did what I asked them to do somewhat, but they tell me the price afterwards not before. they have different prices depending on what you want. My pedi was $18 but my manicure was $40. Both were French except my manicure had gel but I didnt know it would double the price getting gel. Not worth it. I paid but not coming back. The quality was 3/5 because I've had some spectacular French nails done before (Designs/fades/jewels for that price) and they couldn't do anything but the basic. I feel ripped off. I had high hopes because of so many 5 star rating but that did not happen for me. Maybe I just got the wrong person, but either way not coming back. Absolutely amazing! This was my first time getting my nails done in Indy after moving here from St.Louis and leaving the salon I had been going to for over 13 years- so this was a big step (lol... but really). I chose Ooh la la because they were one of the few salons open later on Sunday evening and naturally I had waited until the last minute. I honestly don't think things could have worked out better I have already found my new salon. The entire staff was great, so clean and elegant, reasonably priced and the list goes on! Cole did an amazing job on my nails (trust me after the same person doing them for so long before I was not an easy client). I had a great experience and if I get the chance, I will definitely be back! I had a full set of acrylics put on at my local nail salon. Unfortunately my nail tech was out sick so I settled for someone else and he did a horrible job. Well I was in Indy on business and sure enough, one of the acrylics cracked and crumbled, leaving my natural nail exposed. I walked in around 10:45 in the morning and they got me right in. The nail tech was super friendly and she managed to make my crappy set look way better and fixed the cracked acrylic. They have professional grade drying equipment (Lanel). I have searched the entire city for a 5-star nail spa, and this is it. In short, the place is lovely and inviting, the staff is very welcoming and friendly, and Pao is AMAZING. On my first visit, I made an appointment and Pao was running a bit late. She was sure to start the pedi water (and kept checking to make sure it stayed warm--it's the little things) for me and told me more than once she appreciated me waiting. This cute little nail salon is right by the keystone fashion mall, it's a great little drop in nail salon right after a long day shopping.Nail selection: not the best collection of regular nail polish, however they have 1,000 different colors when it comes to gel. Price: acrylic full set was only $30 and a fill is $20. I found it surprising that a gel mani cost more then an acrylic full set. Quality: I've received acrylic every time I've gone into ohhh Lala and the staff has been ever diligent and keen on detail when it comes to the overall product. Nails, nails, nails, nails, nails I do adore :) that is what I was singing in my head when I left Oh la la - I felt like a Hollywood celebrity in this nail shop.My mom and I were greeted by a very friendly receptionist and a fridge full of bottled water - whhhhaaaat!!!?!?!?!? So cool :) I'm a sucker for the little things! While we waited in the oh-so-cute lobby we chose our nail color. It was a nice touch that they had the new hello kitty OPI nail colors... I'm not one to care about hello kitty, however the colors they have in their collection is perf for classy souls!When we got called back, i chose the basic pedi for $27 because it had a massage and hot towels with it. The quick pedi was $23, for the extra $4 it was worth it! Of course I had to go to the bathroom (I always do, just so I can tell the world my bathroom experiences for Yelp purposes) and the bathroom was so cute and clean!
