I first visited Sign of the Tymes after I got a Groupon for a Brazilian wax & I will never go anywhere else! Katie is professional, friendly, quick, & great at distracting you while she rips hair off of your nethers. I go every five weeks for a brow/Brazilian wax - I'm in & out in 15 minutes. Like many other reviewers, I came here for a mani-pedi using a Groupon. I arrived a touch early for my mid-week appointment and was offered a glass of water while I waited. Problem was, I was left waiting... and waiting... and waiting some more. The nail tech gave a breezy, "I'll be with you in a few minutes!", yet I didn't sit down in the chair until 25 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. Unacceptable.The salon was clean and the nail tech was friendly, but my lord, it was the absolute slowest mani-pedi I have ever gotten anywhere. I'd expect around an hour to 90 minutes for a basic mani-pedi, but once we passed the 2 hour mark and were nowhere near done (and my ride was impatiently texting me from the car outside), I started telling the nail tech to skip the scrub, skip the foot pumice, skip anything you can so I can get the heck out of here before I start to collect Social Security. Once she finally began painting my toes, another employee came in, and my tech started getting chatty with her and ignoring me. Awesome. They chatted at length about how broke they were and their recent dates at Taco Bell. It was incredibly unprofessional and awkward and felt like a sleazy scheme to get me to tip higher.Anyway, as you can probably see, I won't be returning, and I don't recommend this place. I'm not saying it's entirely terrible (I'm sure some stylist there is good at something), but this is not the kind of experience I spend my money on. Read Less
