Was told that tips and toes do a great job, so I went in for a pedicure and asked for a butterfly on my big toe. Pretty simple I thought. (The butterfly was a representation of my mom who just went home to heaven) after going to my car and crying I went home and removed the "butterfly" that someone thought was a deck of cards, and just painted my toe. This message to the public is regarding the issues that employees have faced while working at Tips & Toes Nails and Spa in Huntington, IN. The current owner Anna and her husband Linh have been working there for 5 years and there have been many cases of employees leaving their business because of the verbal and emotional abuse that they received from her husband Linh. Every employee who has left there has a specific story about what has happened. Linh verbally assaulted employees who have worked there about how they work and how he does not like how they work. Linh would also curse and yell, while kicking items near him to show his anger towards the employee. Linh would also complain about how employees do not do a good job and make them feel bad about themselves. Linh has tried assaulting employees physically and made threats to them and their families if things were not done right. But in the end when things did not work out Linh would verbally abuse them to the point where they leave because they could not stand being bullied by him. Along with that when the employees left Linh would have the benefit of not having to pay unemployment for them. Anna supports her husband in all of the things he has done and she does not care for the employees who have left her business. Linh's behavior is unacceptable and ridiculous. His issues should be recognized and shared to customers and other employees looking to apply at this Nail Salon. Customers may not realize that these events happens because most of the abuse is in Vietnamese and hard for a customer to know what the problem is. But former employees are willing to provide information regarding their satiation with Linh and his abuse. The current owners are uncaring, rude, and abusive. Although, they may not show it, customers who have attended there, look at how many employees have quit. Hopefully this will help the judgement of new employees and clients who want to attend here. I went in to fill in my acrylics (around $18) and to get my acrylics trimmed a little. Everything was well until she started complaining about the other nail salon I went to. She said that they used a different formula/brand for my acrylics. She decided to basically take all of the nails off without a say and pretty much give me all new acrylics. Throughout the process she ranked up the price to $20. She finished about an hour and a half later. She said that next time it would be $50 because she had to take the nails off, which is something that I never asked her to do. She also said in the end that she didn't have enough time to trim my nails and that I should've made an appointment. This salon also did this with my daughter a few months back. Horrible. ! I wanted a new set of arcilics..so she grabs a tool & tries ripping the old ones off.! I asked her to soak them because it hurt so bad & I had to practically beg her. ! She kept telling me she knew what she was doing &to be patient. ..which was extremely rude.she didn't even give me the design I wanted. Anna and Lin are both wonderful. I love going in to visit with them and get my nails done. Anna does an excellent job and I never lose a nail like I did at other salons. Went here couple of times now and I can say, its quite an experience. The services was great, the owne recognized me the second time I went there and still remembered my name, quite surprised. The environment is quite peaceful and spacey with some good music to relax. But, the most important thing is that the quality of their works. I would really recommended this place. Read Less

This has got to be the best salon I have been to in the 13 years that I have been having my nais done. The service is superb and they are so friendly. My nails last and I have had very little breakage . Very seldom do I need a repair if my nails are done here. Read Less
