I wish I had the experience my referring friends continue to have here. But my nail technician was very dismissive and rude toward me the entire time. I got a full set and when she was originally gluing the nails on, I noticed that the thumb nail she used was much too small. I pointed it out to her and she shook her head no. So I repeated myself and explained how I really would like a larger size and the lady working next to her told me that she heard me. Well, I know that she heard me but she shook her head no at me. Maybe the lady next to her did not see that. Then, when it came to length, I told her I wanted my nails the same exact length as hers. I play an instrument and it's very important that my nails don't get in the way. When it came to filing them down to the correct length, she asked me if they were short enough and I said no I need them shorter. This happened a couple times. She then beecame visibly frustrated and aggressively grabbed for her dremel. After this, it was clear to me that my opinion on my nails is unwelcome here. I figured if I wanted her to do a good job, I had better keep my mouth shut and let her do what she wants. Regardless, I got to my car and took a good look and realized that my nails are extremely crooked (to the point that my husband even said something) and my own nails are visible above the white tips. Also, after all of that, my nails are still not as short as hers. I'm not sure why I was treated this way. I wanted to treat myself and really was in a good mood and hoping to continue that for the rest of the day. I thought, it will be nice to go into a new nail shop and get to know the people in there. Not so much. $45 plus $10 tip for a sub par nail job and being in an upset mood for the rest of the day. Not my idea of a good experience. Read Less

Do not get your nails done here! First, the owners (Jennifer and Dan) are extremely rude. They could care less if you happy. They rush through people, which resulted in subpar nails. Although the protein nails are nice, the rude service and sloppy job do not make it worth it. Save yourself the trouble and do not go here. Read Less

Many of the customers were upset during my visit yesterday. I was shocked at the poor customer service that was given because it seems like the main goal is to rush the customers through. One lady had a gift certificate and was getting a pedicure, she asked for a flower on one toe and was told maybe next time! My sister in law had jagged and poorly polished nails, my daughters protein nails were lumpy and poorly shaped. A very solid 4/5 stars. I'm from out of town and desperately needed a fill for my acrylic nails. This salon was the closest place to me, and despite the (many) bad reviews, I thought I'd give it a chance. I didn't make an appointment and was seated immediately. Brittany was my nail technician and was very nice. I had never done the protein powder that they specialize in so I thought I'd give it a try, and I'm glad I did! I absolutely love how it looks and feels. My nails are very very long and the powder makes them feel strong enough that I could put it on top of just my natural nails without worrying about them breaking! My powder fill was $40 before tip, which is a little more pricy than I'm accustomed to, but I also know that I won't have to get a fill for 3-4 weeks. The only complaints I have is that when filing my nails down with the rotating tool thing (I don't know the name ) my nail technician cut my finger a bit. Also, there are a few spots on my nails that are slightly bumpy, but you can only notice if you run your fingers over them, not just from looking. This place is terrible. I could have done a more relaxing pedicure myself at home. It lasted about 20 minutes, polish and all. I also had a gel manicure and it was even worse than my pedicure. I ended up with very clumpy and uncured nails. I'm a person who doesn't complain very often, at least not out loud, but I expresssed my dislike with both services with the nail tech; she didn't seem to care or understand and rolled her eyes. My nails looked completely unprofessional and looked like my child had done them. Once this lovely experience was over, I noticed that my toes were completely streaked and uneven but by this point, I just wanted to leave. The workers are not very friendly and do not seem to care if their customers are satisfied. I understand that there is a language barrier but that shouldn't excuse them from rude behavior or from being able to do a good job on a service that I'm paying for. I went to my normal nail spa the next day and paid for these services again, this ordeal has taught me to stick to what I know. I can not recommend this salon to anyone for any reason as the skill and customer service are both lacking, it's a shame too because this salon has the potential to be so successful given it's location. I'm officially a believer in protein nails versus gel! Denise was great and did a fantastic job. The pedicure was a bit of the skimpy side, but overall it was okay. There is a slight language barrier, but they do their best to communicate. Also keep in mind that the protein is slightly more expensive than gel, but it also lasts twice as long. Read Less

This is honestly the worst experience I have ever had at a nail salon. I waited almost 45 minutes with very little acknowledgment from the staff, and they all seemed to be taking their sweet time. I was fine with that at first because I am more than willing to wait if they are taking their time and doing a nice job...that wasn't the case. I got the one guy who was there and this was the most half-assed manicure I have ever seen. First off, he cut my nails off, and I mean to the point where there is no white left on any of them. Then, he took like two swipes across each nail, so they are still jagged in spots. He removed my cuticles by PULLING on them, and half of them are still visible under my nails polish. His idea of a hand massage was, I kid you not, two swipes up my arm and two down my pinky and thumb. My middle three fingers didn't get any lotion AT ALL, which I guess is good because the lotion smells horrendous. And to top it off, my polish is also sloppy in places. The entire manicure itself took about ten minutes, and when I got to my car I noticed that YOU CAN STILL SEE SOME OF MY OLD POLISH under this new polish. I would have been better off saving the 15.50 (!) on a standard no frills manicure and just slapped on a coat of paint and home and been done with it. I didn't complain because I am currently getting ready for a wedding, and I didn't have time to wait another hour to get them fixed. I will never come back to this salon. Have visited twice. First time I went and Kim did my nails and they were awesome. Heading back today to get a fill and they've lasted a few weeks. Second time I went with my mom to get pedicures and we sat in the chairs for about 45-hour before someone started working on us. We were not told there would be this long of a wait. this place sucks!!! absolutely do not go!!!! i have great nails. i'd never gotten fake nails before and figured this year for prom i would branch out. i'd heard great things about the protein nails from my friends and family and decided to give them a try. i got them done with a friend of mine and they wouldn't let us sit together and it took almost 2 hours. Not to mention she cut two of my fingers and they were bleeding pretty bad. it was very strange. when i went back to get them taken off a different worker helped me. he used the electric file to take them off and completely ruined my nails. they're uneven and bruised and weak. also he tried to paint over them to cover it up and they looked awful and a mess!!! should not have payed!!! its been months and my nails are still destroyed you can physically see where my nail is growing and there is a massive bump meaning he sanded down my nail taking about half of it right off and beating my nail down. awful place, will not be going back. if you live in greenwood and want actual good service, try us nails off of us 31. Second time here. First time was fine. Today, I went primarily to get my winter feet presentable for Spring. I have very dry, calloused feet and was looking forward to leaving smooth and clean. The man doing my feet said they ONLY use a pumice. So, he scrubbed away at my feet, rubbing me raw. He then buffed the tops of my toenails and CUT the skin on the top of my big toe. The polish was okay, but my feet are raw, he didn't apply any kind of lotion, so my feet are dry and still rough. The polish was fine, but I can't recommend this place. Read Less

Stopped by as it's new location is very convenient. Asked for gel manicure the technician talked me into the protein dip. I assumed for $50 I would be able to have my nails soaked and the cuticles trimmed. She said to trim the cuticles would be $5 extra I told her to forgot it. She then said she would cut them for free. It was a very half done job... she cut me three times and just kept going. And forget a relaxing spa like experience... the employees were yelling at each other the entire time she was doing my nails. Read Less

Worst pedi and mani I've ever had. NOT REAL sure why they have so much business or are still in business. Just horrible. I live in California and even the price for this pedi was way too much. I pay $25 for a pedi in Cali and its well worth the money. Not here though should be a 10$ pedi the amount of time they spend on you. If I could not rate this place they would get no stars from me.. I had to go home and remove dead skin off my feet and toes because they spent no time doing that or cutting my cuticles. Read Less

The first time I went here I took my mother-in-law from Texas. They immediately went to work on me at our scheduled appointment time but left the overweight, older woman to sit for 45 minutes until she was chilled the water in her pedicure bath was so cold. I got protein nails and they cracked in three days. They were also horribly uneven and I had to go to another nail salon to even them out for Christmas. These nails should've lasted me to New Year's, but I had to go in to have them removed. Not only did they still want to charge me the full $25 to take them off and get a basic manicure but there was no apology. The manicure was also horrible my nails are so uneven and they filed them down so thinly that they are like razors. I had to redo my mother-in-law's pedicure too by the way. This place is a mess. And I mean that literally. It's the dirtiest nail salon I've ever been in. Dust on everything. Dirty floors. Smelly towels. Yuck.  Yuck. Yuck. My shellac manicure was the worst I've ever had. By day 4 my nails looked chipped and the polish was pealing along with my nails. Is there a way to alert a health official about this salon? Horrible first I went in as a walk in wanting a full set pink and white protein nail dip. They skipped me over the people they knew I waited about 2 hours before finally walking out. My friend goes there and said it was because I didn't have an appointment & to call and schedule an appointment with Denise (I guess she's the best at doing the protein dip) well I had a 2:30 appointment today & didn't get in the chair until 2:45/2:50 and she already had her 3:00 appointment waiting. She rushed doing my nails and was worried about everything else besides how my nails looked. I am so unhappy I didn't even want to pay for them . They are so uneven and lumpy . I have been going to Touch of Class Nails for over a year now. The protein powder is great and durable. My nails grow fast though so I have to go every 2-3 weeks to keep them looking good. It's a family owned business and although it's an Asian family, nearly none of them even have accents (aside from the owner, Denise - who is in my opinion the very best). English is spoken fluently in this establishment. I was appalled that one of the other reviews I read on here said otherwise as that is just not true. They are extremely friendly and remember you when you come in. I get compliments on my nails constantly and would recommend them strongly to anyone. Read Less

NEVER AGAIN! I went here for my wedding in June because my favorite one near my house was closed. I needed acrylic nails and a pedicure. I was prepared to stay about an hour to an hour and a half. It nearly took them 3 hours and they WEREN'T EVEN THAT BUSY! Plus they only have 1 person that speaks English so it's just basically you sitting there staring at them or them staring at you. The way they apply the acrylic for the nails is messy and unnecessary. It's sloppy and doesn't come out good at all. The pedicure looked like I had done it! Horrible design and sloppy. Ugh! On top of that the price was nearly $80 and I didn't get the protein crap they were trying to push on me. I will NEVER be back and I never recommend that place to anyone. It's ridiculous. Read Less
