I wish I could give this salon less than 1 star because I would. I have been here about 5 times, consistent bad service.. the manicurists almost act like you are inconveniencing them. Came in Saturday for a gel fill, the gentle man who did my nails did a terrible job. Sloppy job, you can literally see the French manicure under each one of my fingers. Put no care into his work clearly. Mind you I paid $35 for this. See pictures. Called Monday to speak to management to inform them that I was displeased with how my nails turned out. The owner was very rude over the phone, interrupted me multiple times and just overall not receptive of criticism. Followed up by coming into the salon, there was no one at the front desk so I went around the corner to ask for a manager and the gentleman ( who I know is a co owner) again was extremely rude. I told him I'd like to speak to a manager he basically gestured your looking at him, I explained that I just talked to his wife on the phone and asked what he'd like me to do. He responded by saying I need to wait. Horrible way to treat a customer all around. The goal is to do QUALITY work and keep customers coming back. I will never come back to this salon and now I have to pay again to have someone else fix their mistake. Read Less

READ: OVERALL GOOD NAILS, SOME IMPOLITE STAFF. - I started going here late last year after asking my friend where she got her gorgeous acrylics done at. they always looked good and never unnatural looking or too thick, so I gave it a go. the first couple sets I got I did like quite a lot, although I did notice that they were almost so thin that I had acrylics break quite often--which bugged me(especially because they charge 6$ to repair one), but they looked so good I kept going back. one of the technicians there was very sweet but sometimes left me with slightly uneven nails that were painting slightly away from the cuticle (making them look grown out) so I had the owner do my set this time (he and his wife own the shop). he did an extremely good job and  when I asked how much rhinestones were he said he wouldn't charge--however when I got up to pay, his wife charged me an extra 6$ for a few extremely small rhinestones. I was irritated, but I let it slide. I had a nail break today (after just a few days) and when I called back  to ask if they'd fix it, she said she would charge me 6$ even though they used to do it for free if your nails were done recently. I mentioned that I was overcharged on my last visit and asked if she would waive the fee because of that, but she got increasingly snappier and rude, and never acknowledged that they had overcharged me or made any effort to make it right. it really bugged me that as a repeat customer who has never given them any problems, she wasn't willing to understanding or be helpful. I really like this place, but I'm not sure I want to continue coming here if they don't value their customers or fix their mistakes. Read Less

What a wonderful discovery we came across this evening with Bar Laurel. It is a cozy, elegant venue perfect for date night or sharing a meal amongst friends. Personalized, knowledgeable and attentive service was given. Hand crafted cocktails were both intriguing and delicious. I personally sampled the Mule 2.0 ans was extremely please with the result. The menu offered a great selection of tapas which we gladly shared with the table. All small plates were tasty and well presen...ted. Amongst our favorites, the ham croquettes, Brussels sprouts, pickled carrots salad and lamb merguez. The two unfortunate things of the evening, were due to the cold ambiant temperature and the fact that none of us had any room left for dessert... We all left satisfied with a full belly. I moved to Greenwood from out of state and was looking for a nail salon when I found Nail Reflections. I've now been going here for over a year and could not be more pleased. The technicians are so friendly and make an effort to get to know me and my preferences with my nails. The owners are wonderful and really care about their customers! This salon stays busy so I normally try to go during the week if I can. The deluxe pedicure is so worth it!!! I normally get a gel (shellac) manicure and I'm always very happy! Sat at the bar and enjoyed watching Gabriel prepare delicious cocktails with impressive precision. Try the Mule 2 - spectacular burst of flavours! Ordered a variety of tapas (Shishitos were my favourite combined with Pan con tomate). The ambiance is hip yet quaint. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone. It does a disservice to the great community of restaurants in Ottawa. I have eaten all over the city and have never had a poorer experience than the one I had there last night. When I spoke to the chef/owner about it, if only to make sure that he was aware, his attitude was dismissive. So disappointing and not worthy of the Wellington restaurant community. Read Less

I decided to spend the money to go to this place for a pedicure because I have one foot that has a particularly rough heel and I needed someone to really smooth out the dead skin cells on my foot. What a joke! They did a WORSE job then I do at home with a cheap pedi-egg after I get out of the shower. I couldn't believe it. I even decided to pay extra for their scrub. Total waste of money. On top of the really poor pedicure the water in my foot soaking tub was so hot my legs were bright red and nearly burnt. I will never go to this place again. Don't waste your time. Your money is better spent going to the store and buying your own pedicure kit, which I will be doing.Read Less

I went in for French tip after I found a hair in my nail. When I asked if they would redo them the owner was very rude and refused. Do not go here it is a waste of money. I finally got the woman who did my nails to take them off after she shaved them down went had people in the nail place come up and look at my nail to call me a liar when the owner saw it when I came back in. She literally shaved down the gel before she did so. Then a man redid them and was on his phone the entire time on a personal call. Then my nails not only had a few hairs in them now but random glitter in almost all my nails when finished. Read Less

Really enjoyed the delicious food here, went in a few days after it opened, lucked out and there was room on the patio. Food was delicious, they brought out such interesting options! Small plates, which are one of my favorites as I can try tons without getting too full, and the ingredients are always really interesting. Definitely not what I would cook myself, gives inspiration. Used to be a long time customer. Over the years it's become less of an experience and more of a hassle. Last few times I went, the old lady messed up. She slapped a ton of glitter over polish which was NOT what I asked for. They were very openly saying rude things about me in a different language. I was new to the area and didn't know where to go for a good mani/pedi. I found this place close to my work and decided to try it out. The first visit was very awful since the guy who worked on my nails seemed very inexperienced and did a very poor job on my nails. I went back home and decided to call the place and tell them that I am not happy with what they did. So i called them and the girl Lin answered the phone who is also the owner and she told me to come back to get it fixed. I came back and got my nails redone and she did a very good job. I have been going back since then and never had any complaints. But I do make appointments with just Lin. Their prices are very reasonable as well Read Less
