I’ve been a loyal customer at Sarah’s - visiting the salon every two weeks for the exact same service - for two years now. At my most recent visit I was double charged for my regular shellac manicure. When I inquired about it, I was told that Sarah said there was nothing she could do about it. Not only that, but she didn’t take a moment to discuss the issue with me herself. What a disappointing way to treat your loyal customer. The employees were very nice and helpful. They made my little sisters feel comfortable and at ease. They even made suggestions to make sure I got the full value out of their services. They did smudge one of my nails when doing the clear coat, but he immediately cleaned the whole nail and redid it completely. Wife dragged me in to get my nails did for the first time ever for an event. Staff was very friendly and made my first experience enjoyable. They were super down to earth and treated you like a regular. Very nice place! Read Less

I went here for my 19 birthday and it was the worst. I asked for acrylic nails and showed them my desired nail shape. The end result was not even close to what I had asked for in terms of shape. I paid the extra for gel polish and on two nails, the polish is smudged off the nail on to my cuticle. In terms of customer service, the technicians were rude, spoke in korean and angry tones the entire time and didn't even ask me or my friends name. Once i was finished, the gal who was doing my friends nails went to help another customer and left my friend with the guy who did my nails without explaining a thing- just moved her stuff to another place while she went to wash her hands. Since moving to Fort Wayne, I've been searching for a nail place that lived up to my standards. After a year and a half, I finally found one! The salon was clean, I walked right in without a wait (on a Saturday, nonetheless), and I had the most relaxing experience. The pedicure I had, which included a hot stone massage, was simply amazing. And they were very accommodating to any requests I made. I asked for a flower design on my big toe and did not like the design my technician attempted. She immediately, without any fuss, grabbed a nail technician who was "one of the best at nail art" and had her take over. The whole experience was polite and professional. I will definitely be back! The salon is small and cramped. A friend and I went to get our nails done. Upon arrival we told the male working the front exactly what services we wanted. We were quickly rushed to the back to begin our pedicures. After sometime my friend who wanted a manicure mentioned her current nexgen nails needed to be removed.. no response. Finally we finish our pedicures and the same man working the front states nexgen will take 30 minutes to soak and overall seemed as if he did not want to provide the requested services. Sarah's is wonderful. I never set an appointment, I normally walk in. Sometimes there is a slight wait if it's a Saturday afternoon. The staff is very friendly. They offer complimentary pop and water. I see them cleaning their pedicure tubs every time I am there. They open their tools from sealed packet every time also. Bethanie did updos for 7 girls for my 6.14.14 wedding!!! She didn't even break a sweat and we have some seriously thick hair! Bethanie was professional and did an amazing job!!! I don't live in the area anymore so she isn't my regular stylist but I've already booked her again to do my hair for another wedding that is in the area! I highly recommend her and her team!
