Olio Nail and Spa is the best nail salon in the area. The customer service is always great. They acknowledge you as soon as you come in the door. The quality of the service is also consistent and excellent. There are a lot of nail colors to choose from. The owner is always working and welcomes every customer. I recently went to Olio nail spa one afternoon recently. I preface this review by saying I did not have an appointment, but the door does state walk-ins welcome. Also I will say, the nail salon looks nice on the inside and it appears to be clean. The workers also speak very good English and understand your request. However, I waited over 35 minutes for a manicure that barely lasted 10 or 12 at the Max. And I also cannot understand paying $30 for a manicure, and after not having had one for at least three or four months she didn’t cut any skin off of my cuticles: how is that even possible? Lastly I spent the rest of the evening picking my skin apart from my fingernail where she clumped so much clear topcoat on that my skin stuck to the bottom of my nail. It has only been a few days and I will say that none of them have chipped off yet, but I highly doubt they will last two weeks. I will never go back. Read Less

The salon is gorgeous. Seems to be pretty clean. I have tried this location on two separate occasions and my opinion still hasn't changed. First time I got a full set. 1- they didn't know what coffin shape/ ballerina shape was. 2- my nails weren't even or straight. Seems the man doing my nails was more worried about getting the next person in than the quality of my nails. Second time me and my mom went in to get a pedicure, it was worse than my first experience. The pedicure was maybe 20 mins once again worried about rushing and getting the next client in. They also barely scrubbed our feet. When they went to paint the nails we told them we still had calluses on our heels. They didn't seem to either understand or care because the issue never got fixed.I do not recommend this nail salon if you are looking for quality. If you want to be in and out regardless of what your nails look like then is is a place for you. Sadly more nail salons are like this now days. Definitely give this place 5 stars!! Walked right in on a Saturday at noon for a mani/pedi. The guy (unsure his name, but he was an older guy) was super friendly and tried finding a better match for my polish as I wanted something glittery. He was really great on my pedicure. Often times other salons have scrubbed too hard and made a spot sore. He did it perfectly!! He kept checking in to make sure everything was ok. Water was ok, towel wasn't too hot, ect ect. And the leg massage was probably the best I've ever had! Super relaxing!!! A friend recommended this place to me and I'll definitely be going back frequently!!! FASTEST  MANICURES AND NOT IN A GOOD WAYI took my younger cousins here to get their nails done for their first time and felt the workers here did a so/so job. I'm from Los Angeles and monthly manicure/pedicure so I know when we're getting mediocre service. Why it was so/so:1. They told us on the phone they could take all 3 of us but when we came only 2 nail techs were available. 2. The manicure took like 10-12 minutes. She didn't cut the cuticles and the hand massage was WEAK. She just put lotion on the hands, no relaxing massage, literally took 2 minutes. We might as well gotten a polish change and saved our money! 3. Didn't offer us anything to drink. I saw one girl offer water to her customer so I asked for one too. Which I had to go get myself. Wack customer service. I don't know if it was because we weren't white or because we looked young but we definitely didn't get good service here like the other patrons (we were the only asians in there).  I'm 36-yrs old and my money is just as good as the 50+yr old lady next to me- please give us all equal service! I decided to get my nails done here since I received a coupon for 20% off. I thought this would be a good idea since I haven't gotten my nails done in quite a while. I called and set an appointment for 4pm. I arrived about 10 minutes early, signed in and picked out my nail color. Upon entering the establishment, I was really impressed by the appearance. It looked very clean and tidy. However, that's pretty much where the good things ended. I waited for over 45 minutes to get called back. During my wait, I kept seeing what seemed to be regulars at the shop get seated and worked on. So what was the point of having an appointment? I have no idea. Horrible customer service. We had an appointment for 4 people at 3 they seated us at 3:05 in the pedicure chairs- they obviously could not accommodate 4 people so why would you take an appointment for 4? My youngest daughter got started around 3:15 Three of us sat 30 minutes, someone finally sat down in front of my son at 3:35- next someone sat in front of my other daughter at 3:36 who also wanted a manicure and the technician suggested gel twice! and I am still sitting there- I WAS going to get the deluxe but that had an upgraded soak so I wasn't going to get that now! I was so upset I got up and left, the guy said she will only be a few minutes -sorry an appointment means an appointment to me!. We had another person with us that was sitting in the kids pedicure chair- who barely weighs 130 pounds and suddenly someone asked her to move across from us - how rude can you get? Seemed clean. No attention was paid towards my feet. My technician was mostly concerned about the front door. I asked twice for him to cut my nails shorter, this never happened:/ i was made to feel ridiculous for asking for them to be cut! But they grow so fast and can hurt in my shoes, hence the reason I get pedis regularly. I stayed quite for the rest of the service. As to not be difficult, massage was rough and rushed(since he wasn't even looking at what he was doing. And he scrubbed one part of my heel raw with what looked like a cheese grater, leaving the rest feeling untouched. Now for the polish... at this point the service was laughable, the polish was clearly gooey, poor guy toughed it out. Smoothing the crappy polish better than I thought possible. What a beautiful nail salon! I came in for my last pedicure before having my 3rd baby in just a few weeks. There was A LOT of people already there at 5:20pm on a Wednesday. When I walked in 2 people were signing in. I was up next and signed in as a walk in for just a pedicure. I took my time looking for a color (they have everything you could think of) and was actually seated in a pedicure chair quicker then I thought! Within about 15 minutes of walking in.They let my feet soak for about 20-30 minutes and I just enjoyed the time in the massage chair. Each pedicure station had a nice bowl of water (mine was kind of cold but I didn't mind since I'm so hot while pregnant). The lady I got was very nice and did a great job on my toes. They have 3 different packages for pedicures and I did the $30 package which was the middle one. Overall, I would definitely recommend making an appointment because I was there for an hour and half (not that I minded at all) and being cash to make it easy in and out. Read Less

I was really disappointed in my last experience at Olio nails. The man I got had a cold and so he kept coughing and sneezing when he was trying to do my nails. I got them done on Friday and it's now Tuesday and the gel has chipped on all of them. I have not done anything to make them chip. I've never had a gel manicure that has lasted for that short of a time. I was glad to see that they have chairs for a little girls for pedicures now. The last time I was in there with my daughter yelled at her for not sitting correctly. She was four. With all of the nail places around here I can't say that I'll be back. Read Less

Great experience. Called as soon as they opened to make an appt. they were very accommodating fitting me in that same morning. Staff was not rude; very polite but not overly friendly or chatty. I can understand why people might think they aren't friendly here. It seems like more of a slight language barrier and cultural difference, to me. They really do an amazing job, though. So, keep your expectations on the low side if you're looking for a chatty nail experience but you will love your manicure and pedicure. So first let me start out by saying this would be lower if they didn't give very good manicures and pedicures. They are literally the least friendly nail shop I have ever been too and I have been to quit a few. Every time I walk in it's like I'm bothering them. I literally feel like they want to say get out. I have thought many times maybe it's because they are busy or because they are short staffed but I have gone three different times and been serviced by three different people and they have all been rude, very unfriendly and just all out annoyed by my presence. So you are asking yourself why do you go back. Well I go back because my nails look excellent and it's right down the street from my house. Will I continue to go back I don't know we will see but I know one thing is for sure I don't suspect they will change there attitude. One star for service five stars for nails. My sister and I went decided to go here over the past weekend since we have never been. We usually go to Bella PC or Da Vinci Nails. We called and made an appointment at 4, we get there at 4:02 and have to wait about 10 minutes. We go to our pedicure chairs and wait for another 15 minutes while our feet soak in cool water. The owner did my pedicure & another lady that used to work at Bella did my sister’s. She said she wanted the regular & I told the owner I wanted the deluxe, $4 difference between the two. They kept asking about the nail salon across the street, Da Vinci. We both said we were in there for our last pedicure and they remodeled the place and it looks awesome. About half way through, my sister noticed they were doing the deluxe on her. She asked what pedicure she was doing and the lady said the deluxe. She was like okay, whatever, no big deal, even though I didn’t ask for it. The owner keeps getting up because you can hear a baby crying in the back and his three year old daughter is running around the salon. I do love children but c’mon, I do not bring my son to work with me. It’s just plain unprofessional. I pay money to go relax and get my nails done. So the guy finally gets done polishing my toes and told the lady doing my sister’s to do my top coat when she is done with hers. She does but didn’t put my flip flops on like they always do at other nail salons. She said no dryer, just sit here for 10 minutes. After 5 I put my shoes on and noticed he missed a few spots. I fixed it myself since no one seemed to check on me or was around. We went up front to pay and the owner said $30. I handed him my card and his three year old daughter had a fit because she wanted to swipe my card. He gave in and she swiped it about 5 times before it finally took. I got a bit nervous as I did not want to see multiple charges on my bank account. I did check and it was only charged once. Then my sister pays and he charged her $40, she had a 20% off coupon, so it was only $32. She did not leave a tip and he looked her crappy. We get out to my car and she told how much he charged her. I said why did you not question it? She said I’m not even worried about, I just won’t go back. So I would recommend this nail salon. Good service inside. Got my nails and toes done for a wedding 5 days ago. Got gel nails and regular pedicure. Both mani and pedi have already started chipping after just 5 days and I am frustrated with that. Gel nails should last at least 14 days, not 5! I paid $35 for the pedi and $30 for the mani, so both should last AT LEAST a week. I am very unhappy with this. Read Less
