Was excited to get my ad and found that my shampoo was now included in the liter sale. Clear as day it says it! Went in and they did not have and said perhaps it was still in box and for me to call in the next day to see if they have it -there was only me and another customer. Two days later I went in and they didn’t know what I was talking about! Came home empty handed -again! They said it was not included on the flyer -went home again to re read the flyer -once again-it was!!!! Deva curl decadence! Buy the liter shampoo and liter conditioner and get the super cream free! I've shopped at BB for probably 15 years...first in Indy and then the last 8 years while I lived in Dallas, TX. I'm back in Indy and stopped at the Fishers store. I was always satisfied with the customer service of the employees until today. The only employee in the store was simply not helpful...and I was the only customer there. She wa not customer service friendly at all. She never moved from her spot at the desk. When I asked for the product and couldn't find it on the shelf, she was totally uninterested. She stated if it's not on the shelf, then they're out. She didn't offer to see when they'd get more, or offer to order any, or offer to call another store. Said nothing. I won't go back to that store. I'll order my product on Amazon. Read Less

I would not recommend this place to anyone. While the stylists are very friendly, they simply just dont know what they are doing. I went in to have my hair colored (i had a little bit of red in my roots from a direct dye done 5 monhs prior) and asked her to do whatever she thought was easiest and best to get my hair to all one color. I showed her a few pictures hut made it abundantely clear that i was not dead set on any one color and just wanted it fixed. So she went in and started to bleach my roots.... my RED roots... which of course turned pink. After 4 hours and an attempt to tone the bleached area (which by the way, they had ran out of toner so it couldnt be finished) i had a line of bleach vs pink vs dark blonde going across the back of my head. They asked me to come back the next day so they could dye it. I go in the next day, and they dont dye my hair, they try to tone it, AGAIN. Which didnt work the first time. Another 2 hours later, i still have the same thing as the night before, but a little darker. They wanted me to come back a THIRD time, so they could put pink in my hair. I left that day with the styslists saying "it will look fine curled, but it does not look okay worn straight", which is what my hair naturally does. Not only did i leave with messed up hair looking nothing like i had asked for, but it looked worse than when i came in. I went back to ask for a refund of half my money, but they refused because they said it was my fault that i used "box dye" (b.s. i did not use box dye) and they cant garuantee that my hair will turn out the way i want it to. I went in with no expectations other than a solid, professional, looking color. And they failed to meet even that. Also, let it be noted that i was paired with someone who wasnt what they call a "master stylist"- their highest ranking stylist, but got charged like i was with a master sytlist... DO NOT GO HERE!!!! GET YOUR HAIR DONE PROFESSIONALLY!!! It will cost you less money to go to a professional.... Read Less

If you do not have your receipt, you will not receive store credit NOR can you exchange for the lowest selling price of another product. WHAT?? I received around $50 worth of Redken products as birthday gift. I did not like or use any of the products and went in to exchange for something I'd actually use. Well, since the person (a guy) who purchased it for me didnt have a Beauty Brands account...they could prove the purchase was made. I told the associate I understood if the products were now on sale and that'd I'd be okay with receiving the sale price on a store credit. Nope, not allowed. This is why I will only shop at Ulta, where you can exchange with no receipt and no questions. Read Less

All around terrible experience. First, it was the worst haircut I've ever had. After the gal finished, it was noticeably uneven and there were hacked away chunks where I was supposed to have "layers." I pointed it out and asked that she fixed it. She fixed the uneven part but I still had very unblended layers. Then on top of that, I received my bill with an unexpected and unexplained 40% up charge for a "thick hair" fee. Apparently it's a fee added at the stylist's discretion and is never mentioned to the customer. Ridiculous. Read Less

I have had my hair cut here several times. The location is convenient, with ample parking. It is easy to get an appointment, and I have always been satisfied with the haircut. Other places in trendy neighborhoods have metered parking and charge a lot more. Or, if you go to a cheaper salon, you might get a student who is clumsy with a razor. This place is more of a mid range option, and it is just convenient for me. Read Less

From April of 2016 (it was posted and then they removed it!) I have been a customer for several years. I had an appointment for a cut and spa pedicure for 9:00 this morning. I arrived at 8:55 and was told my stylist had not yet arrived. At 9:15, a manager type person informed me that my stylist had a class this morning and would not be keeping my double appointment. Now - I may have been a little more understanding had she been ill or had a family emergency. But after get...ting up at 6:45 to make it to the 9:00 appointment in Fishers (I live in BROWNSBURG), and discovering that I had completely wasted my efforts, I was a bit angry. The management type person informed me that they hadn't known about the class and had booked her for the entire day. Quite frankly, this was of no consolation. She was apologetic, and then to add insult to injury, she informed me that "I know just how you feel." This appointment had been confirmed via their new texting system not once, but twice. No offer of any kind of compensation, no discount - just that they could reschedule me. Sometimes an apology is just not quite enough. I will never set foot in this salon again, and based on how I was treated, I would not recommend it to anyone. On a recent trip to the store, I found the place to be well organized and they had a variety of brands available (two stars). Thank goodness for that, because I was able to find what I was looking for myself since not one of the three ladies behind the counter chatting amongst themselves acknowledged us whatsoever. There was only one other patron in the store and she went straight to the salon area in the back.While it's not necessary or mandatory that one is greeted when entering the store (especially if there is an influx of many other customers), it is expected that if there aren't any other customers in the store, one would at least be acknowledged or asked if they were looking for anything.Alas, after realizing that there was no interest in my business, I left. I went to buy something that Beauty Brands carried but because they were obviously not interested in my business, I bought the 6 liters of conditioner from Ulta--where the people were pleasant and inviting.Beauty Brands, you're a joke when it comes to customer service. I've had my hair done by Tara several times and last week she cut and colored my hair in a new way and I love it.  She is so creative and talented.  She also did my sister's hair for her wedding and it was beautiful plus the updo was still going strong the next morning.  The salon is so busy on Saturdays so expect to wait a bit but if you can get in during a quiet time, everything is really smooth. Came here for the first time after seeing signs for an "annual liter sale". Came to find that tons of brand name liters of shampoos and conditioners were on sale for only $12! If you're someone looking for brand name salon quality shampoo, this is the place and TIME to get it!The sales associate noticed I had never tried any of the shampoos/conditioners I was buying so informed me they have a "if you're not happy with the product" you can return it or exchange it! I ended up buying almost $100 worth of shampoo/conditioner products that should last me most of the year! And if I don't like it, I will for sure come back to take them up on their return policy and find something else I like better! Read Less

Me and a friend had the basic pedicure service on Saturday.  I called earlier that day and scheduled an appointment for both of us.The associate who greeted me when I walked into the store was very friendly and helpful.  I arrived a little early, and the receptionist who checked me in was very friendly (as was the associate that helped me scheduled my appointment earlier in the day) and the waiting room was comfy.  They offered me a drink while I waited as well.When the pedicure chair was ready, Sierra took me back to the spa room which is very relaxing.  It smelled good, the temprature was perfect and there was relaxing music playing.  The water temprature was just right as well. The chairs have heat and massage.  Sierra did an excellant job and I look forward to becoming a regular.  For only $36 you cant beat the pampering! Read Less

This store is pretty decent, in my opinion. I've never been there for their salon or spa services, but they have a great selection of salon brand shampoos, conditioners and styling products. They also have several high-end straighteners, curling irons and hair dryers to choose from. Honestly, I've found better prices online on those items, but if you're a brick & mortar type of girls, Beauty Brands is a good bet (or Ulta). On a recent trip I did a bit of Christmas shopping, finding a cute OPI minis nail polish set for a girlfriend and a set of TSA flight approved mini toiletry bottles for a frequent traveler. I also did some damage in the little girls' section on the Molly 'N Me product line. They have some fun, frilly, feathery, glittery stuff for girls there... bath gel, body glitter, lip gloss, design your own fashions sketchbooks, etc. Many of the items I picked up were 65% off too... not bad! The staff at Beauty Brands were all really friendly and helped me decide that Molly 'N Me products were a good gift idea for a ten year old girl. I like this place! Read Less

Horrible place! I truly hope the management was taken care of. I hope stylists in there have better attitudes. It's like pulling teeth to get someone to smile and say hello to you when you walk in. All around terrible experience. First, it was the worst haircut I've ever had. After the gal finished, it was noticeably uneven and there were hacked away chunks where I was supposed to have "layers." I pointed it out and asked that she fixed it. She fixed the uneven part but I still had very unblended layers. Then on top of that, I received my bill with an unexpected and unexplained 40% up charge for a "thick hair" fee. Apparently it's a fee added at the stylist's discretion and is never mentioned to the customer. Ridiculous. Read Less

I have had my hair cut here several times. The location is convenient, with ample parking. It is easy to get an appointment, and I have always been satisfied with the haircut. Other places in trendy neighborhoods have metered parking and charge a lot more. Or, if you go to a cheaper salon, you might get a student who is clumsy with a razor. From April of 2016 (it was posted and then they removed it!) I have been a customer for several years. I had an appointment for a cut and spa pedicure for 9:00 this morning. I arrived at 8:55 and was told my stylist had not yet arrived. At 9:15, a manager type person informed me that my stylist had a class this morning and would not be keeping my double appointment. Now - I may have been a little more understanding had she been ill or had a family emergency. But after get...ting up at 6:45 to make it to the 9:00 appointment in Fishers (I live in BROWNSBURG), and discovering that I had completely wasted my efforts, I was a bit angry. The management type person informed me that they hadn't known about the class and had booked her for the entire day. Quite frankly, this was of no consolation. She was apologetic, and then to add insult to injury, she informed me that "I know just how you feel." This appointment had been confirmed via their new texting system not once, but twice. No offer of any kind of compensation, no discount - just that they could reschedule me. Sometimes an apology is just not quite enough. I will never set foot in this salon again, and based on how I was treated, I would not recommend it to anyone. On a recent trip to the store, I found the place to be well organized and they had a variety of brands available (two stars). Thank goodness for that, because I was able to find what I was looking for myself since not one of the three ladies behind the counter chatting amongst themselves acknowledged us whatsoever. There was only one other patron in the store and she went straight to the salon area in the back.While it's not necessary or mandatory that one is greeted when entering the store (especially if there is an influx of many other customers), it is expected that if there aren't any other customers in the store, one would at least be acknowledged or asked if they were looking for anything.Alas, after realizing that there was no interest in my business, I left. I went to buy something that Beauty Brands carried but because they were obviously not interested in my business, I bought the 6 liters of conditioner from Ulta--where the people were pleasant and inviting.Beauty Brands, you're a joke when it comes to customer service. I've had my hair done by Tara several times and last week she cut and colored my hair in a new way and I love it.  She is so creative and talented.  She also did my sister's hair for her wedding and it was beautiful plus the updo was still going strong the next morning.  The salon is so busy on Saturdays so expect to wait a bit but if you can get in during a quiet time, everything is really smooth. Came here for the first time after seeing signs for an "annual liter sale". Came to find that tons of brand name liters of shampoos and conditioners were on sale for only $12! If you're someone looking for brand name salon quality shampoo, this is the place and TIME to get it!The sales associate noticed I had never tried any of the shampoos/conditioners I was buying so informed me they have a "if you're not happy with the product" you can return it or exchange it! I ended up buying almost $100 worth of shampoo/conditioner products that should last me most of the year! And if I don't like it, I will for sure come back to take them up on their return policy and find something else I like better! Read Less

Me and a friend had the basic pedicure service on Saturday.  I called earlier that day and scheduled an appointment for both of us.The associate who greeted me when I walked into the store was very friendly and helpful.  I arrived a little early, and the receptionist who checked me in was very friendly (as was the associate that helped me scheduled my appointment earlier in the day) and the waiting room was comfy.  They offered me a drink while I waited as well.When the pedicure chair was ready, Sierra took me back to the spa room which is very relaxing.  It smelled good, the temprature was perfect and there was relaxing music playing.  The water temprature was just right as well. The chairs have heat and massage.  Sierra did an excellant job and I look forward to becoming a regular.  For only $36 you cant beat the pampering! Read Less

This store is pretty decent, in my opinion. I've never been there for their salon or spa services, but they have a great selection of salon brand shampoos, conditioners and styling products. They also have several high-end straighteners, curling irons and hair dryers to choose from. Honestly, I've found better prices online on those items, but if you're a brick & mortar type of girls, Beauty Brands is a good bet (or Ulta). On a recent trip I did a bit of Christmas shopping, finding a cute OPI minis nail polish set for a girlfriend and a set of TSA flight approved mini toiletry bottles for a frequent traveler. I also did some damage in the little girls' section on the Molly 'N Me product line. They have some fun, frilly, feathery, glittery stuff for girls there... bath gel, body glitter, lip gloss, design your own fashions sketchbooks, etc. Many of the items I picked up were 65% off too... not bad! The staff at Beauty Brands were all really friendly and helped me decide that Molly 'N Me products were a good gift idea for a ten year old girl. I like this place! Read Less
