Was very disappointed with my mani/pedi the manicure looked like a child did it and my mother's was awful also. The staff was not helpful answering questions. My pedi was not any better. There was so much oil left on my legs it was running down my legs I had to ask for a towel during my mani. The tech did not even finish my mani no massage no lotion. Update to my original review: if you don't love your final product, you can reach out to one of the owners and they will make it right! I went back for another keratin treatment today and had fabulous service (the first service was great too). I won't know for a few days if it worked any better, but I'm glad they asked me to come back in. I would recommend them to anyone! This is a very nice salon and a good place to go if you are looking to feel pampered. I went there in mid...-December for a keratin treatment and just had a bad experience. I was promised 5 months of frizz free, smooth, easier to style hair with this treatment. The only thing I got was a few weeks of reduced frizz, nothing that my old leave-in conditioner didn't already do though. But even that has since washed out. When I reached out to the stylist about this, I was pretty quickly dismissed as having too high of expectations. At a salon of this caliber, and the amount that I paid them ($300!!), I expected something to be done to try to make it right. Now I'm left with the same frizzy, curly, unmanageable hair I had before and an unhappy husband (this was my Christmas gift from him). I'm sure most people would love this salon, it is very nice. This salon is absolutely amazing to its staff and guests that walk through the door. I wouldn't work anywhere else in Evansville. The Education and time we invest in our staff is incredible. When you take care of your employees, it causes them to care more about the guests in our chairs. We try our hardest to cater to all the needs of every individual that walks through our doors. Shannon is an amazing business owner, Chad is phenomenal at organizing events  and with customer relations, and JD, Emily, and Carrie are some of the best hairdressers in Evansville. My first time here was for a walk-in haircut.  In between that and my next appointment, the stylist had left.  Since, I've come for a couple haircuts and balayage treatments and an eyebrow wax.  I have curly, porous hair which can be difficult to cut and color, but I've always been satisfied with what I've received for the money.  I've always felt relaxed there as well - pretty nice atmosphere.  When I went, there was a loyalty card and referral system which you could use to get great value out of your first few appointments.I did, however, bring my husband for a classic haircut, which resulted in an uneven, unflattering haircut that looked like a take on a trendy cut that wasn't what we asked for, after two people worked on it.  We asked for James Dean, with photos, and got a version of Macklemore.  I expect stylists to be able to step back and say when if they can't achieve a cut. A bad haircut turned extreme disappointment and disaster. I asked for my hair to be re cut as I originally asked, I was put off until days later. I was told I wasn't the right fit for the salon. After being a loyal customer for over a year and a half. Chad was rude while I was only trying to get my hair cut as I originally asked. Customer service was terrible. I got a letter in the mail stating I was no longer allowed to book appointments my privileges had been taken away.  All because I was truthful and asked for my hair to be fixed and didn't let someone take advantage of me. Glad I won't be dropping anymore money in there. If your looking for a snooty high priced "exclusive" keep your mouth shut and take it how you get it salon this is your go to salon! I was given fantastic service today.  I had a hair cut with Kelly and a wax with Heather. Both were very professional and courteous.  I am beyond happy with my hair cut.  This is the first time I've had had a Brazillan wax and I love love the results. Unfortunately I went in for my first ever manicure.  Sweetest girl ever, but it did not end well.  On several of the nails you could see full strips along the edges without polish, but I felt too bad to point it out to her.  She let me sit for a little while then said I was good.  Just getting my card out to pay I messed up one nail.  30 minutes after I left, the polish was still soft enough that it got messed up every time I touched something.  I'm sure that was my fault not knowing anything about manicures.  Went and bought nail polish remover within an hour and removed it.  Kind of felt like a waste and I don't know whether to try again or not.  For some reason, I never finished this when I started it in June of 2013.  I am thinking of giving them another try and seeing how it goes. I absolutely looveeed the hydrafacial experience.I enjoy facials in general and hearing about this amde me curious ; I've never encountered a hydrafacial before.So after multiple calls, I was finally able to get an appointment  and got there.The salon itself is really busy but they took em right away; facial paperwork completed and I was on my way to get my face rejuvenated from the harshness of this frigid winter.Liz was wonderful. She was really nice and explained teh entire proces; I had a lot of questiions about sensitivity becuase I didnt want to return to work looking like I had a chemical peel.The facial itself was really soothing and so much less abrasive but so effective. After the manual cleansing and exfoliating, she got out what looked like a suction hose and it felt weird but not painful at all. The suction equipment was in itself, really ocnfvincng and unlike micrderm, it felt less aggravated and really smooth. Kind of like your face was being pumped with oxygen. The entire process includes a pore clearing, salicylic/glycolic application and a vitamins treatment all done by the suction hose. By the end, my face felt really smooth, clean, fresh and felt amazing. I usually am sensitive to any treatments and this was perfect. I could right back to work looking just as fresh and dewy. At the end, she shows you a jar of all the stuff that gets pulled out of your face..it was cool in a gross way.so glad I did it~! Read Less

I have been going to Shannon's every week for about a year now. It IS the best salon in Evansville, bar none. All of the services are great! The products are top of the line. The staff is non-competitive and very well qualified in their fields. They do their best to make you feel like a queen when you're there. Why, yesterday, my stylist, knowing I have diabetes, and I was going to be there several hours to get a massage, facial and hair coloring, went to one of my favorite places to eat and bought me lunch so that I would not get ill. That's a caring stylist! She's the greatest! They are always being educated and improving their selves because these kinds of services are always changing and they need to keep up. My massage therapist also helps me tremendously with my back condition (severe), am in a wheelchair. He also gives me facials once a month to keep my skin in great condition. I've been to Shannon's twice now, but I will never go back. When I made my appointment I just needed a color and trim. The cut alone was $23 and that was with a discount! They failed to tell me corrective coloring was $36 per hour. Thy also charged me $15 for a conditioning treatment I never asked to be done. They spent 3 and a half hours on my color. It was supposed to be brown and came out almost black. Very upset with my hair and very sure I will never return to this place. I'm a college student, I simply can't afford it let alone the fact I have to wait for this horrible color to wash out! :( Read Less
