I had a pretty good experience, the pedicure was great, but the staff pushed me into getting gels which I really didn't want. I was there with a girl who was getting her nails done in anticipation of a proposal and doesn't usually get her nails done, and she requested a french manicure, but the guy there said that it isn't good and a waste of money, even though that was what she wanted. Then she picked a pale pink color and was also bullied into gel nails. She ended up cut in three places from them trimming her cuticles, and one of them was her ring finger. I received a gel polish on my nails and my toenails were also painted. The gentleman that performed these services was quite frankly RUDE. My toes were painted in a hurry and extremely sloppy. All over my skin. & he did not clean it up! I was rushed in and out and the job was beyond horrible! Smh. Horrible, biased treatment..I'm a a retired, and disabled veteran. New to the area I thought perhaps I would stop here for a manicure and pedicure. Worst idea ever.. The women did not acknowledge me until I said excuse me.. With a sarcastic response I was asked what I needed. I had my service dog and I told her this.. She asked If my dog was a service dog and I said yes.. She mumbled something to the other woman and at that point i asked where i should sit.. the woman said nothing. I asked 3 times and the woman said I don't know, anywhere you want..At that point i said nevermind. Never have I encountered this type of treatment at a nail salon. Lilly at Evans Nails always does an awesome job on my nails!! Even when she replaces my acrylics, it never hurts at all. She is very gentle and quit a perfectionist. Brought in a group for a girls session and she was too busy trying to sell everything but what we wanted. Despite her claims of being the best my nails were sloppy and everyone's nails were chipping or breaking within days. They're ok. The owner guaranteed that she's the best to do dip nails in town, but my nails chipped two days later. I went back and she fixed them, but was visibly unhappy about it. She was a little rough when moving my hands, rushed the fix and screwed my nail shape up. She was convinced that "hard work" messed my nails up..... I went to get my nails done and the design I wanted was "too hard" for them & it was so simple.... Just black, red & white. HORRIBLE!!!! I got a fill and the lady who did mine (I didn't catch her name) did horrible!! She didn't fill one of my nails all of the way, cut my nails without asking me how long/short I wanted them, filed them and they aren't even straight, didn't ask what shape I wanted them, and forgot to use the remover at the end when the gel was done so it wasn't sticky. And the best part is I have nail polish all over my skin. If I wanted my nails to look like crap I would have done them myself! Read Less

I had my nails done here about a week ago by the owners daughter who is in training from her mother who has been doing nails for i believe she said 20+ years. For $38 I received my nails soaked cuticles pushed and trimmed which was scary because she pinched me a few times but didn't break the skin. There was no hand massage no normal manicure relaxation it was basically a polish change which I could've gotten done anywhere for half the price. When I left I was very unsatisfi⋯⋯ed my nails but as I'm not one to complain I just brushed it off. My nails were shaped very uneven kind of rounded to a point to the left and the design I asked for lets not even go there as to how bad it was! The topcoat for my gel was all over my cuticles and when I separated it from my cuticle it chipped the polish In places. Then after about I'd say a little under a week the polish begin to lift which never happens I take very good care of my nails and do not have a job or house work that is very rough on them or put them in a lot of water. When I called to speak with the owner about if they were guaranteed at all she said no and was very condescending and said because she can't guarantee that I take care of myself, take care of my nails and aren't soaking them in water often or that I'm not just hard on them. I tried to explain to her that I am not hard on my nails at work/home and they are not in water more then normal and she still was very rude and condescending like I wasn't taking care of myself or my nails. I felt very disrespected and will never return to this place. I am not a disgruntled customer I hardly ever complain about things but I have been getting gel manicures for a few years now and have never been this dissatisfied with any of them or had problems like this so soon. Forever Nails are awesome! My nail tech Lynn does a wonderful job. Very professional and unique. My nails last up to 3 weeks with design and color, long lasting care. She's does every style you want. I'm always getting compliments on every style. I've been going to this shop over a year now and I must say I'm always satisfied. Sorely disappointed. I have been using this establishment off and on over the years (they've changed management). But the last year or so I've been going more consistently. It's usually a good experience for the most part. Tonight however, I attempted to use the "discount punch card" for my manicure (which turned out PERFECT, by the way). Now because I've been going regularly and don't always have my card, I had 2 different cards (3 visits on 1 card & 7 on another). I attempted to use the cards as one to combine and redeem my discount ($20). Apparently that can't be done. I'm sad to say that them not honoring there promo just lost them a customer. I went to Evans Nails on account that my mom recommended them. I wish I would have chosen wiser. I ended up with Cindy. Throughout the entire appointment she was rude and unprofessional. She told one of her coworkers that my fingers were fat and that I took longer to work on than most clients. She then proceeded to argue with me over my color selection and told me it shouldn't take so long to choose a color. When she finally started on filling in my nails she was very rough and ended up making multiple fingers bleed. When I called her on it she told me I wasn't relaxed and that my cuticles were dry. She then put acetone right on the spots she cut making them sting. Towards the end of the appointment she had made some mistakes on my nails which I asked her nicely to clean up. She started yelling at me to the point where my mom turned around asking if everything was alright. She didn't clean up the nails. Apparently, I am not the first customer to have had a bad experience with Cindy. Clients are constantly complaining about her. I was told she had been fired from multiple nail salons for being rude and unprofessional to customers. If you do choose to go to this salon ask for Mike. But please stay away from Cindy. Read Less

NEVER GO HERE! I went to get my gel nails and a pedicure to spruce up before my 5 year anniversary. Going to this place was a waste of $55 dollars plus tip! The tips of my gels nails were rough (How does that even happen? It's gel!) I sat under the air and light station for 30 minutes and the manager guaranteed I could put my shoes on to go outside (it was raining, hard). When I got to the car I took off my shoes and my toes was ruined! I had to catch a flight so I couldn't go back in and demand they fix them (which they knew because I said I had to be done by 2PM to make it to the airport). My pedicure was nice. The lady who did my pedicure did not speak much English but did try to speak a little. It was a bit hard to understand her at times but she was very nice and did a nice job. The place was very busy lots of customers and 8-10 staff members. I did not have to wait which was very nice. It was nice for a quick pedicure stop. Read Less

I brought my mom here for her first pedi. She can't bend to get to her toes so they were very neglected. I don't live here so I chose blindly. This was not the best place I have seen, but not the worst either. My mom didn't want polish. Just trimming and buffing. The attendant did not speak English so at times we had to speak to the adjacent attendant to communicate preferences. She told us it would cost an additional $5 for the service. Kind of crass. Save your money and buy a bottle of nail polish at Target--you'll be better off. I was in from out of town and I needed a quick manicure before a meeting. Most places had already closed for the night, so my options were very limited. I chose this place based solely on the fact that they were open. Big mistake. My nail tech was Vivian. She didn't shape my nails and I had to ask her to even the length. She managed to cut me with the cuticle scissors and I proceeded to bleed, which I have never had happen during a manicure. At the end, I had to ask her to touch up several nails, as I could see brush strokes when I had sufficient light. She left as much polish on my skin as she did on my nails.
