Just got my nails and pedicure done a week ago. I have a large scar on my leg from an accident, and the chick that was doing my pedicure kept looking at it and then speaking in a foreign language to the worker next to her and looking at my leg. Petty and rude. Then... this guy was asigned to do my nails, and low and behold... a thumb nail tip snapped off tge very next morning with no pressure put on the nail. I went to get it repaired, and he kept tryimg to put the blame on me. He repaired the nail, and then said in a sacastic tone, "see you tomorrow." He wasn't far off. EVERY... SINGLE... NAIL has snapped off at the tip and its been less than a week. I didnt even get to enjoy a full set of nails even for a week that I paid good money for because these people are incompitent, or else they are scam artists. I would go have then fix them, but they are rude, and there is no way in hell Im paying them any more money. Im going in to demand a refund as soon as I have a day off work... their hours make it almost impossible fir me to get in... I think I should get mh tip back too. This place was great many years ago when Sue was there. It is ghetto af now, and I wouldn't take my dog there.

There's nothing California about these nails at all.. I must agree with the other woman posting about her experience and feeling less than welcome at this location. I went in for a nail repair and pedicure. The employees were unapproachable, not at all friendly, I waited over an hour for service because I was in need of service. The woman that finally serviced me was downright rude, the nails she repaired were hideous. Its clear that at this location, a blatant disregard for equal treatment is displayed openly and freely. When mentioning a post to the worker that serviced me, she dismissed it responding by implying that minorities do not pay for service. Ofcourse, language barriers and ignorance may contribute a bit to her ability to articulate clearly her thoughts on the subject. I do not recommend this location.

Everytime I come in the shop he makes me feel so unwanted The first time I thought it was just me but then this last time I seen It wasn’t Me i feel like the owner only wants white clients from the time I walk to the door he asked me May I help you which is fine it’s the polite thing to do but soon as I stepped in the door I mean the door haven’t closed and then tell me that the Wait is going to be extra long trying to discourage me from staying and then when I tell he. What kind of nails I won’t he tells me we don’t do that type a nail which is just a long nail nothing fancy that I see the young lady next to me getting something similar too what I am asking for I felt so embarrassed I will never Go there again If you’re African-American he really don’t not want your Business and he will make you feel it too

I'm surprised by the positive reviews- this place was horrible. Rude staff, bad mani/pedis (didn't even clean my daughters nails....) Color on the powder dip examples do not match the actual color yo...
I'm surprised by the positive reviews- this place was horrible. Rude staff, bad mani/pedis (didn't even clean my daughters nails....) Color on the powder dip examples do not match the actual color you are going to get... beware. Many better places in Evansville!

I'm a big city girl and I've been to a lot of different nail salons all over the country. So it's a pretty big deal that I can say with full confidence that this is the best nail salon I've ever been...
I'm a big city girl and I've been to a lot of different nail salons all over the country. So it's a pretty big deal that I can say with full confidence that this is the best nail salon I've ever been to! Very legit salon with every nail tech fully licensed!I can honestly say that this is the best pedicure I've ever had! My nail tech was extremely meticulous about gently cleaning my feet from overgrown cuticles and calluses. He cleaned around my big toe nails better than any other nail tech, which is important to me considering I have problems with them becoming ingrown.I will certainly make it a point to come back any chance that I get when I pass through Evansville.

Called for an appointment and was told they could take me right away, which was great since I live practically next door. So I went and was pointedly ignored for half an hour by the elderly man I was assigned to while he haphazardly slopped a thick coat of polish on the toenails (and toes and everywhere) of the unfortunate customer before me. When I finally asked the man at the front counter what I needed to do to be served, he was astonishingly rude. All this was very surprising, as I had previously had good experiences here. However, the man who I used to make appointments with has apparently left that business and the good service has gone with him.

Greeted upon entering the shop. I had called around 5:30pm, and the man told me they could do a pedicure at 6:30pm. Although hours posted say they close at 7pm, I think they stay over a bit as long as there is clientele to warrant staying open a bit late.Services appeared hygienic and in line with standard infection control procedure (auto clave, disinfectant of foot tub, gloves to protect workers). I am pleased with the service, the result and the value. I will return!

I've been going to California Nails for about two years now. I will never go anywhere else! They are really good about fitting in appointments, the workers are so sweet, and the service is great! They always do a great job on my acrylics. The salon just has a great atmosphere! Highly recommend California Nails!

We called at 10am and was able to get an appointment at 11am which was impressive because we were oblivious to the fact that there were 2 high school dances the same day and the first place we walked into told us they had no time if we didn't have appointments. The staff was friendly, joked with us, and were easy to understand. The prices are average but you get a bit more for your money here and the service is great.

Just got my nails and pedicure done a week ago. I have a large scar on my leg from an accident, and the chick that was doing my pedicure kept looking at it and then speaking in a foreign language to the worker next to her and looking at my leg. Petty and rude. Then... this guy was asigned to do my nails, and low and behold... a thumb nail tip snapped off tge very next morning with no pressure put on the nail. There's nothing California about these nails at all.. I must agree with the other woman posting about her experience and feeling less than welcome at this location. I went in for a nail repair and pedicure. The employees were unapproachable, not at all friendly, I waited over an hour for service because I was in need of service. I've been going to California Nails for about two years now. I will never go anywhere else! They are really good about fitting in appointments, the workers are so sweet, and the service is great! They always do a great job on my acrylics. The salon just has a great atmosphere! Highly recommend California Nails!

We called at 10am and was able to get an appointment at 11am which was impressive because we were oblivious to the fact that there were 2 high school dances the same day and the first place we walked into told us they had no time if we didn't have appointments. The staff was friendly, joked with us, and were easy to understand. The prices are average but you get a bit more for your money here and the service is great.
