Skipped on my favorite nail place today, because of a long wait.  Boy do I regret it. Basic pedicure is $30 and boy is it BASIC! I got about a 60 second soak in the foot bath, a quick file and buff, some lotion rubbed in to my legs and feet (no massage ), and some old thick polish.  Lasted all of 10 minutes.  I was utterly disappointed, as I was so looking forward to a nice leg and foot massage.  Perhaps it was my mistake for going "basic". I must add that the tech was perfectly pleasant, and she sweetly talked me into getting a gel manicure on my nails.  I was then transferred to another tech and started making small talk.  Apparently, I seemed too easy to talk to. He proceeded to give me a lecture about my nailcare habits and that his all natural product was going to heal me from the inside out.  Okay....i can take a good sales pitch...but delivery is everything.  As I asked if he could fix a couple crooked filed nails, he proceeded to ask me if I "wanted to go home and do them myself". Wow! I told him I gladly would! I wanted to get up and walk out right then. I sat quietly through the rest of my manicure, which I might add that for $40 didn't include any cuticle work or massage.  They had great color choices with the gel manicure and the finished product came out as expected. My sister and I have the Christmas tradition of getting our nails done together when we're home for the holidays. This Christmas we decided to check out a different nail salon: Blue Water, hence my new review;)Our pedicures were outstanding! The staff was friendly and accommodating, prices were reasonable ($30 for a regular pedi), and the salon was very clean (pedicure bowls lined with plastic). The staff didn't push an awkward conversation on you, but let you relax and enjoy your stay. I dig that.  This will definitely become out new norm. Read Less

Every time my husband & I come to Evansville we have to stop in & get pedi's. They use individual bowl liners for each pedicure which makes me feel protected from germs from others. We always just walk in & have never had to wait long. My husband says his favorite thing is the couch in the waiting area lol. He says it's deceptively comfy. Since he doesn't get polish he's usually finished before me. I've never been denied any request that I've asked. I don't like to chit chat so I love that the technicians just do what they do & they do it well! We will for sure be back! Read Less

If I could give no stars I would this place is horrible I have bubbles in my Polish and places on my nails aren't even painted and when I complained she was shi#$y to me... don't waste your time nor your money DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! Read Less

Overall a decent experience. There is definitely a communication barrier with some of the technicians. She never attempted to speak to me at any time, and I actually had to ask what I owed. Other than that she did a good job compared to Nail Tech who gave me an infection in my toe, and Evans Nails who are very rude and unprofessional. Will be back. Read Less

Absolutely horrible service!!! If I could give a negative star I would!! Went with a friend of mine and I felt rushed. First the lady tries to talk me out of getting gel polish then she leaves a good amount of polish still on my nails. I even had to file my own nails because she seemed like she didn't want to. She complained that she was busy and that I was taking too long with picking a color which by the way was a very small selection. Even the guy yelled at me because I wanted to see what it would look like in one finger before committing to it. I asked for a white glitter polish and it looked yellow when she opened it. The worst thing is that it's been less than a week and I already had one nail pop off. Ugh.....I could go on and on my advise is Don't Waste Your Time going to this place is not worth it!!! I'm new to the area so I went here on my friend's recommendation. I got a gel manicure. The polish looked perfect, but she didn't push my cuticles back or set the polish back far enough to give me more time before I needed them redone. What really bothered me about this place is their lack of cleanliness. It doesn't look like they sanitize their tools between customers, and they definitely don't take care of surfaces. The table has a built in cubby for your nails to cure under a black light, and the surface was crusty and caked. Won't be back! Read Less

The staff is always so friendly and the place is very clean. Prices are reasonable. I've been here many times & always pleased with the service. The thing I like the most is the addition of 1x use disposable liners to the pedicure bowls. Blue Water is the only place in Evansville I've had pedicures for over 2 years. Read Less
