I enjoy every trip I make to the Nail Pro shop on Charleston rd. location . I look forward to seeing the staff, they are very friendly and professional. The quality of their work is above and beyond. The store is always clean and very open which I enjoy. The equipment is in great condition and sanitized. I see KIm and she is like a close friend and when she is not available I see Lee. All the staff are like a big happy family and when I am there I feel a part of the family. One star seems too much. I had the nail dip done, which I have been doing at another salon for over 2 years without issue. Pro Nail is about $10 more, but I was in a crunch and couldn't get into my normal place so I thought maybe I'd get what I paid for. No such luck. Within a week I had to return because the dip was very thin and my nail broke, which is not the norm. Most salons guarantee the dip for 2 weeks, that's how good it is if done right. After waiting about 45 minutes for my repair, I was told that the problem was my nail and not the dip. Again, if the dip is done right, the nail won't break and I was sure to let them know this. I insisted they repair the nail, which prompted him to put a different clear coat on, which doesn't work with the dip stregtheners, etc. Less than a week later, the new top coat is peeling and the color is wearing out. So, if you are considering this salon for a nail dip, save your money and go somewhere else. And if you're an existing customer, based on their prices and quality of work, you can find much better work, much cheaper. Read Less

I don't get my nails done frequently, and whenever I want to I'm never sure where to go. I went here based on other reviews and am happy I did! My nails were already short, so, I opted for the acrylic with gel on top. I like to look clean and professional. So, my main concern was them looking obnoxiously fake. The acrylic part actually was only put on the tips on my nails with the gel over it. It feels so much more natural! I also went for the more rounded look.. I wasn't happy with the shape at first because it looked so fake to me.. but the woman helping me was happy to fix them how I asked and kind about it. I was looking for a nail salon in the area and saw this place had good reviews so I decided to give It a try This will be my new regular nail place. I needed my dip nails removed, a manicure and then a gel polish on my real nails. She did a GREAT job. My nails look great, she was really friendly and super sweet and my favorite thing : FAST and efficient. I had a nice pedicure there yesterday and walked away pleased. They have a decent amount of stations and techs, although it is a small shop and felt a tad bit cramped. I waited for about 10 minutes on a Friday afternoon, which isn't bad at all. They have a nice amount of color choices, both in regular and shellac.They were super friendly and called names according to the sign in sheet. (I had just walked out of Pretty Nails in New Albany for skipping me and not going in the order of the sign in sheet.) They have a great location on Veteran's Pkwy. in front of Sam's Club. The pedicure was typical of this type of pedi, which is never long enough for me but fits its price point. The tech did a nice job. I deducted a star only for the slightly cramped quarters and no tip line on the credit card receipt. I have no problems returning here. Read Less

I've tried a few other places but came back here. They seem to always do the best job for me. I like the warm wax dip on my hands when getting a manicure... this has been the only place I've been to that has done this. My hands always feel soft after. They take their time and never rush. I came to this salon about a month ago, it had been at least a year or more since I had gotten my nails done at a salon! I always got the acrylic, and went every other week for a fill in, but this time I tried the gel nails, not only did they last almost 4 weeks, the color still looked good, and my real nails looked good and growing. Jenny, the nail technician, takes pride in her work, takes her time, and she is sweet as well, needless to say I won't be going anywhere else for my nail needs, Ive been very pleased with the results the 2 times I've been so far. If you are willing to spend some money on a great set of nails, I highly recommend nail pro, Clarksville, IN. and Jenny! You get what you pay for, I do pay, but it's worth every penny spent! Overall I was pleased with the nail job. Unfortunately, getting a really good manicure / pedicure in the Kentuckiana area is rather challenging. I recently moved back to this area after being gone for many, many years.I lived in the DC Metro area, Atlanta, Houston, and Phoenix. All these places had nail salons that cared about producing quality, consistent work to keep customers returning and just simply taking pride in their work or craft.I'm not sure what Kentuckiana is lacking in this industry, but this nail salon did a fine job. Got a regular french manicure for 30$, I went right after they opened on a Saturday morning so there was no wait, it only took about an hour until they got pretty busy. I was greeted immediately and it seemed most of the techs understood english pretty well. I was helped by a younger looking girl that did my nails but she seemed pretty experienced. There were some small children there and my nail tech actually had to get up at one point during my manicure to keep one of the little ones out of mischief but other than that they were very well behaved and quiet. One complaint was there was no soak or anything to help get off my old acrylics, she literally scraped them off my nails with a tool which wasn't very pleasant. And she cut my true nails with a jagged clipper and didn't smooth them out at all before doing the manicure so the tops of my nails look beautiful but the bottoms are constantly getting snagged on things, they are so jagged and that is a real pet peeve of mine. I ended up buying a tool off amazon so I can smooth them myself. Also did nothing with my cuticles. Despite that, the manicure itself looks lovely, I just wish things were a bit smoother. Overall, an average manicure. May try out somewhere else before going back there. Read Less

Wow, what a deal. I just got a gel manicure and not only did Chrystal do a great job, it includes a dip in parafin wax!  All for $25.  Yeah the decor is a bit odd, but the quality it what matters.  And they have a big book full of gel colors. I'll be back for sure. Read Less

This nail salon's convenient hours, large selection of polish, and professional staff are quickly making it one of my top destinations for a walk in mani-pedi or gel polish.  While I was initially drawn in by their Sunday hours, I keep coming back because they have more colors of OPI gel polish than I have found in any other salon and their application is impeccable and long lasting.  The staff is friendly and professional and the salon is clean and comfortable.  The only downfall is that tips are cash only.  I really wish they would fix this so I could add the tip onto my credit card.  If this inconvenience was fixed it would be a five star salon.
