Since Kim and tony took over it's been the best place to go! Been going to them for over 10 years and have followed them from store to store. Everything is brand new inside! I really don't know why people have such negative reviews of this place?? I came in and got a spot within 2 minutes. The guy who did my pedicure was  attentive and very thorough! The nails looked great ... I guess I'll see if they hold up but as far as service this place gets an A. The inside is small but clean and well set up. I like how they put the pedi massage chairs at an offset angle so your not staring at the person across from you (that always weirds me out). I used to go to this nail spa at their previous location 2 minutes from my house and loved it! It seemed high priced but I usually always walked in and didn't have to wait long for a great manicure or pedicure. I didn't really think I'd continue after they moved as the new location isn't quite as convenient but I decided to give it a try. I agree it can be difficult to communicate or understand staff but usually there is one person who speaks English better. It didn't seem the quality was as good at least on this day even though some of the staff was recognizable. I spent $83 for a gel pedicure and nail fill with gel polish.  The pedicure was worthless. It was the $35 one.  She did not even work on any of my calluses.  I then went to have the gel polish on my nails and I questioned if it was the same color as my nails because to me it looked different.  Kim said no it is the same color as your toes.   I had another appt to go to and when I got there I looked at my nails.  They were a completely different color.  And my gel polish on one toe was not set.  I went back and I asked for them to be redone and to refund me some money.  Kim did not acknowledge my request.   They have lost 2 customers..... myself and my daughter.  I will now be going to a different nail salon.  Very disappointed Read Less

I would prefer to leave 0 stars. It was so band just now that I didn't even let them Finish my color. They seat me and keep telling me so my hands for 30 min even after I explain I've been soaking. My tech was rudely shopping on her phone while doing my nails and she even skipped a nail and I had to point it out! I was pointing out the cuticles she wasn't getting and she just stared at me. I sat with a nice man but he didn't understand a word I said -- which normally would be fine but stay with me.... I sat under the dryer for 25 minutes and walked to my car to see that the big toes were messed up. I walked back in and he fixed them by just adding more polish (it was caked on at this point) because he nor anyone else understood me. I have been coming here for awhile now, and today I was completely appalled how badly I was treated by the man that did my nails! He was rude, made fun of me and did not do anything I asked! Very nice staff but not happy with quality of work. My gel nails were not shaped nicely and my pedicure felt great but the polish was very bumpy and I had to redo it when I got home. I think this salon has potential but maybe needs some new training. Read Less

I've been going to Spa Nails Salon for years. They were originally located on 161st and Spring Mill rd. Now they moved to new location in Carmel . I have never been disappointed with the service I have received. I always have had Kim, or Tony service me. They are friendly and nice. Highly recommend !!!! Read Less

Stay away from this one. I went into Spa Nail 2 to get a nail done and decided to go back for the other nine fingers. They charged me to remove the old gel nails, which I have never experienced before. The nail technician cut my nails so short I thought she was going to cut my finger. In the end she did cut the side of my thumb. I was outraged that they would overcharge me compared to other nail salons. I told them I could not get my nails done every two weeks if I was going to be charged like that. I went in on a Saturday and I was the only one there. No wonder! I will never go back. Read Less

Please do not waste your money in this place!  My sister and I went and although our nails looked fine, they overcharged us.  They took advantage of us because we are teenagers.  We went one time before this and we thought they were giving us extra services for free, but they were actually just trying to confuse us and we ended up paying way too much.  It wasn't until the 2nd time that we told our mom and she informed us that we were tricked.  She will never let us go there again. Extremely unsatisfied with my experience here. I got a gel mani pedi. The lady was nice, but the product it self was not up to par with the shellac I have gotten before. Clearly an off brand product. The UV light kept hitting my nail and smudged the polish several times. In the end I have uneven bumpy nails that were messy and had weird bubbles and specks.Additionally, I overheard a lady ask why she was charged $5 extra for color removal(which isn't listen on their price sheet at all) and the nail technician claimed the guest had gel on and it's an additional charge. The lady said she only had regular polish and she had done it herself at home last. The technician still charged her.I will never come back. Read Less

This place is awful.  I had a pedi done by a sweet woman, decent job.  Time for my hands, I petite angry fellow was going to do them.  He had the foil on to remove the gel for about an hour, his female coworker asked him when he was going to restart on my nails, the foil was on long enough, he started screaming and cussing at her, looked like he was seriously about to smack her.  I yelled at him, called him trash and asked the lady he was yelling at to charge me for the pedi alone.  I tipped her well and walked out. I would give this salon 0 stars if possible. I received a gel mani from an older gentleman this past Wednesday. It is now Monday and my gel has cracked and peeled off. That is 6 days, which is a generous timeframe. I called earlier today to inquire if they would fix them for me since I just got them done. They said to come in and they would take a look. The SAME gentleman took a look at my nails when I arrived and told me it was my fault and that he would CHARGE me! Crazy. I have had gel put on my nails for what seems like forever so this is not something new that I tried. I will NEVER be going back to this nail salon and do NOT recommend this salon to ANYONE. If you are wanting an overall pleasant experience. Go elsewhere. I asked how much gel nails were he told me $24. I said 'oh no thank you my salon is cheaper' before I got the sentence out he said 'no it's not!!' I said that it was and he informed me that my salon couldn't be cheaper, they are the cheapest in Carmel! Well that is wonderful however WE Don't LIVE IN CARMEL!! Contrary to popular belief, this is NOT the Nails II that was originally located on Executive Drive, next to Kroger. When calling to make an appointment, my mom & I were led to believe it was the same salon in a new location. We were sadly mistaken! My mother was cut twice, once on her toe and once on her finger (see photo). Our finger nails were only trimmed, barely filed and not buffed whatsoever.  The pedicure was extremely brief and the extra $5 charged for removal of calluses did not fully remove my calluses on either foot.As a resident of Las Vegas for the past 6 years, I always look forward to my mani/pedi experiences when returning to Carmel, Indiana. My mother, sister and I have since discovered that the original Nails II on Executive Drive still exists under a new name. If you are looking for a fabulous mani/pedi experience, I HIGHLY recommend visiting Michelle at the original Nails II, now named Polish Nail Salon off of Executive Drive.  This salon, Spa Nails II is not worth the price, nor the time wasted on our afternoon together. I've been getting my nails done here regularly since they opened. In the past 6 months or so they've been adding unexpected charges to my bill ($10-15 extra for things like removal of gel polish). This is a huge surprise when you go to pay. They've also continuously harmed my nails. They leave acetone on your nails for 20-30 minutes to remove the gel polish (if you read about this on-line it's very bad for your nails- 10 min tops is suggested). They also use harsh files and the drill to remove gel polish which removes healthy layers of your nails. My nails literally hurt after manicures at Spa Nails II due to them damaging the healthy layers of my nails unnecessarily. I've tried to communicate this to numerous technicians and they have either dismissed my concerns or blamed it on the chemicals in the polishes. I've tried regular polish there to avoid some of these issues but it lasted one day! They seem to be much more concerned with quick service than healthy nails. After going every 2-3 weeks for years, I need to find a new salon. Read Less

Horrible experience! They reuse the nail polish remover that they soak your nails in to take off a shellac manicure! Disgusting! While washing my nails I saw the employee take the bowl of liquid that had floating pieces of skin and nail polish residue in it And funnel it back into the container- gross!They did a poor job of shaping my nails and their nail polishes are old!Don't go here! This was my first and last trip to this salon. I called and made an appointment for a 7:30 manicure and pedicure. When I arrived I was told they close at 7:30 but were doing me a favor by staying open late. They did the manicure and pedicure at the same time so I was in the salon less than 30 minutes. You expect one to be done at a time and it is supposed to be relaxing. The manicure was HORRIBLE. None of my nails are the same shape, they are so short that my fingers hurt, they were all rough around the edges, and the cuticles are a mess. She (employee 1) maybe spent 10 minutes max on the manicure. The whole time she (employee 1) also complained and told me at least 20 times that they closed at 7:30 and they are going to get home late now and that they are doing me a favor. Why didn't you tell me you closed at 7:30 when I made the appointment on the phone!? Even if my nails had been done professionally this still would have ruined my experience - not at all professional. The pedicure was ok but she (employee 2) did not cut my nails even and my heels were still rough in places. Overall I spent almost $60 for a horrible horrible experience that lasted less than 30 minutes. I had to go home and try and shape my nails and the rough edges but they are so bad and short I will just have to wait for them to grow out. I made the large mistake of trying this place as it in a close proximity to my office and I was short on time. Bottom line: rude staff, poor quality. The man who did my nails, threw my hands around and rudely grabbed me the entire time. A few of the times, I did not understand his non-verbal directions, to which he would glare, grunt, and then grab my hands and physically throw them where they need to go. I have a high tolerance for grump, so I wouldn't have minded this much if the finished product were worth it. It was not. My nails look like the nails of a child. I'm torn on this review. This is a great location, with excellent hours and decor. My first visit was on a Saturday after tanning and just needed a quick gel manicure. The woman was so obnoxious. Her: Do you have lotion on your hands? Me: Yes. sorry did you need me to rinse them first? Her: No. Now I'm going to have to work twice as long. This is no good (or something to that tune). Ok. I've had nails every 3 wks for a year at least. In the winter I use lotion. Not gobs, or anything just regular lotion. I have no problem washing hands, etc. But what I don't appreciate is you complaining about the time it takes to paint my nails when you didn't ask me that to begin with. I'm not complaining and I'm paying??? With everyone around me enjoying themselves it seemed out of character. Whatevs, maybe a bad day for her I'm here for the nails not chatting up. Nails turned out fine. Ok. so this is really convenient for me so I gave it another try. Not going to let one bad apple spoil this super convenient spot. I had Joshua and he did a great job. Service was perfect and he worked quickly. Now, I'm smarter I schedule with him only. If I would have went with my first review I would have said 3 stars and no returning to same person. But with my second visit it was definitely 5 stars. If you have a great nail person you are loyal. If I hadn't moved 30 mins away I would still be with my previous nail person. I have been going to Spa Nails ll since they opened. At first I was so pleased because the ladies there are so friendly, the prices were very reasonable and most of all they the tools were properly cleansed to prevent cross infection from person to person. I was there several weeks ago and I noticed that the manicurist once done with me, took the tools to the sink and washed them with hand soap, rinsed them with tap water and returned the tray to her station. This is so unsafe and this process does not ensure the killing of dangerous bacteria such as MRSA or fungal infections. I also noticed that the pedicure stations were not disinfected between patrons.
