I have been coming here for two years now. After looking at reviews of other salons & people posting how other salons have messed up their hair. They went to Method Salon & how great a job fixing the people's hair. I decided to try the Method Salon since the do the job right the first time. Kelly is one of the best stylists I've ever had. She always take my vision- whether I show it to her or poorly describe it to her- and makes it above and beyond what I could've asked for. Stylist didn't listen to what I wanted. I asked for a dark brown base with balayage highlights. She told me she wouldn't do a dark brown base like I wanted. I respect her professional opinion but she should do what I ask and let me regret it later, at least then I made my own decision. Will not be back. Read Less

Loved the salon. It's a little hard to find as the sign is not very visible. They were able to accommodate me on a less than 24 hours. I had originally asked for Amy but was told she is mo longer taking new clients. I was the assigned to Kirsten and am very happy to have found her. I showed her a picture of the haircut I wanted and it's exactly what i got.  She showed me how to style it and am actually looking forward to try her easy to follow instructions. Kelly is the best hair stylist I have ever been too. I have very thick hair that she cuts and styles beautifully and her blowouts lasts for 3-4 days. She always listens carefully to the look I am going for and she asks just the right questions so that I am pleased every time. My hair is almost 100% gray so covering these grays has always been a challenge for me. Since going to Kelly she has been able to cover my grays perfectly every time. I also appreciate her getting me in and out of the salon quickly without me ever thinking i am being rushed or neglected. I have been going to get my hair cut and colored by Bri for over a year.  It's always a little scary going to a different stylist but I couldn't be happier with the service!Color:  I am very happy with the color Bri chose for my hair. When she suggested highlights I was a little apprehensive but Bri assured me they would be subtle which is what I was looking for....I love it. I have gotten so many compliments on my hair since the highlights.Cut: I have had the same hair style for decades.  Bri convinced me to try a slightly different cut.  I am enjoying the new style a lot.  Maybe I'll even get my hair cut short one of these days!Products: Method has a variety of products for your hair.  I have bought a few conditioners that make my hair feel silky smooth. I made an appointment with Tiffany for a cut and color, and she did a fantastic job! She was so sweet and very professional. First time customer yesterday and was not sure what to expect. Tiffany was my stylist. Tiffany was patient, kind, professional and knew what she was doing. I was very impressed when she said she had to go get some of her tools from another room because she was cleaning them before I got there. I was also very surprised at how reasonable the price was when I went to pay, which means I can afford to come back more often. My hair is long and thick and was frizzy on the ends. Tiffany turned my hair into a work of art. She gave me a long layer, that also framed my face a bit. My hair was as smooth as silk when she got done. I didn't know my hair could look like that. I had not had my hair done in quite some time so I was already nervous, especially going somewhere new. Tiffany put my mind at ease. I can't thank her enough and will definitely be back. Read Less

Tiffany at Method Salon is an incredible stylist! She has succeeded in coloring my hair the shade that I had been trying to get back to since leaving Chicago (and my salon of over 13 years) in 2010, and putting hair extensions in my hair, which has suffered from hormone changes and loss following the birth of my second daughter 3 years ago. For the first time in my life, I get compliments on my hair, and it is all due to her work! Further, she does NOT over-charge you, nor does she attempt to up-sell products to you that you don't need. She discusses everything with you in advance, and offers you the cheapest and the most expensive options to choose, letting you make the ultimate decision. If an extension falls out (which doesn't happen as frequently as it did with my previous stylist, despite her charging me FOUR TIMES MORE for extensions), she or the salon make arrangements to get the extension replaced the same day or the very next day. My daughter also goes to Tiffany, and she adores her work, too. Everyone we have encountered at Method is kind, professional, and considerate. Kody could not be more friendly, and the owner (I don't know her name, despite having talked to her) is also very professional and ensures you are happy with your service. I am terrible with names, or I would list some of the other stylists and staff that I have had the privilege of talking to while at their salon. Summing it up, Method Salon is by far the best salon in Carmel or Indianapolis. I would argue that they even exceed the service I received at my Gold Coast salon in Chicago (though not even close to being as pricey!). If you want incredible color/highlights, extensions, a great cut, and incredible service at a reasonable price, go to Method Salon!!!! Read Less

Uma has been doing our family's hair for years. She is friendly and pays attention to details. She also remembers what she did for each of us and always has recommendations for my tween daughter on how to keep her hair cute and fresh. She is even patient with my wiggly son when we squeeze him in after one of the girls in the family if she has time. We also used Uma for our wedding party and she did a fabulous job. I am not a stylish, trendy hair person and so when I walked into the salon and met Jordan, she helped me feel comfortable and helped talk out with me what might work for my hair.  I setup an appointment and Jordan was the stylist to give me the right look and am pleased with the result.  I needed someone who wasn't new to coloring and can manage my heavy hair, and Jordan was very comfortable knowing what to do and how to get the color to what I wanted.  She knew exactly what she is doing and I felt very at ease and trusted her completely.  She is comprehensive in her work and takes pride in excellent results which was reflected in my cut and color when I left.  Upon my request, Jordan also gave me pointers to improve styling my hair and explained how I can try and look just as good as the day I left the salon.  I highly recommend this salon and Jordan to anyone wanting a great modern or custom look that's right for them. I made an appointment at this salon with Jordan based on the other Yelp reviews. I got a great eyebrow wax and hair cut. I appreciated that Jordan listened to what I was looking for and gave me a quick but excellent cut. Christine, the director of salon operations, was also very friendly and great to work with for scheduling. The salon itself is very nice, and I've learned from previous stylists to look for the product brands they have here (e.g., Oribe) to find good stylists who are interested in their work and getting continuing education. I have long hair with layers and only get it trimmed every couple of months. I'm not the type of person who is organized enough to schedule my appointments weeks in advance, so I tend to wait until the moment I need a haircut and then scramble to find someone who has an opening. Well, about a week ago I decided I needed a haircut AND that I needed to cut bangs... thank you Pinterest. Most women know that this story has potential to end very badly. Luckily, I found Method Salon on Yelp and after reading some good reviews, I decided to give them a try. They were able to get me right in with Jordan and I couldn't have been happier! She did a great job cleaning up my layers and gave me trendy bangs that I was able to duplicate every day since. I'm not from the Indy area but was in desperate need of a haircut, so I sought out Yelp to help me choose a salon. Method Salon had come up in the Top 10 with great reviews and I decided to give it a try. If you call to make an appointment they can give you a phone consultation in order to match you up with the most appropriate stylist. I happened to speak with Christine, who was more than pleasant and very helpful. She suggested I schedule with Angela based on my requests. Angela was absolutely fantastic. I had come prepared with some sample photos and let her work her magic from there. I came in with hair down past the middle of my back and left with a sassy, little bob. My hair was donated to Pantene and Wigs for Kids (do your research or ask for suggestions if you are looking to donate your own hair). I'm not very good about styling my hair, but Angela made recommendations and suggestions throughout my entire appointment based on what would work best for me. I was so excited for my new transformation! I've already recommended their services to my friends and will be utilizing Angela again in the near future. I saw Hannah yesterday for a trim and balayage color. She was friendly, understood the look I was going for and did a great job! Method Salon uses the best products and I like how their stylists are on levels so you know what you're getting (all levels consult with one another so you get a good value and great expertise). Uma is the best stylist! I have been going to her for many years. I literally drive from Chicago to Indy every 6 weeks just to get my hair done by her. I'm extremely picky and she has never disappointed me! I have tried a few different places, but no one compares. Driving 3 hours is worth every second for what I get in return.
