Lovely Nails is the place to go for beautiful hands and feet. This is my absolute favorite place on earth for pedicures. I was seated on time and they worked on my hands and toes at the same time. The designer nail polish was a fun treat and my pedicure last for at least 3 weeks. . . My nail tech was fantastic and gentle. I love the soothing music here. I've come to Lovely Nails several times and everytime I have loved this place. They exceeded my expectations by miles. This place gets quite busy so make sure you book an appointment in advance. Worst nail salon I've ever been to! I walked in and asked for a full set. A woman put the nails on and a man painted them. They look TERRIBLE! The acrylics are too narrow so there are gaps on the sides that show my real, short nails and they dont go all the way to the cuticle so they look like they're weeks old when I just got them done yesterday. The polish doesn't even cover the whole acrylic and it is very uneven, you can see the different layers of paint. I also had to wait 30 minutes for them to start when there were only two other customers in at that moment. They also were very unfriendly and either ignored me or responded with very few words. I very rarely take the time write reviews, but Lovely Nails Lovely Nails is worth it! I even had a specific manicure design that I wanted (I saw the picture on Yelp), and they went out of their way to find the polishes and the manicurist. My nail technician who originally created the design. I had a different person for my pedicure and my manicure pre-polish prep and they were both awesome! Unfortunately, I can't remember their names, but everyone that has done my nails at this place has been very nice and very good at what they do. I've been a regular Lovely Nails at Carmel for about 1 years now and I will never go anywhere else. From the ease of scheduling an appointment, the great customer service, and the quality of nail care you receive I give them hands down 5 stars. I highly recommend scheduling an appointment in advance due to the fact that they are the best and their schedule fills up FAST! I've had every nail technician work on my nails and you can't go wrong with any of them. They were friendly, plus their nails last for about a month. The nail staff great you and make you feel so welcomed. The staff does an amazing job not only to make sure your nails look great and that you're happy with your results, but also to keep a welcoming, clean and comforting salon. Great full set! Nails look great. Only drawback is when I came in for a fill one lady told me $30. She then handed me over to someone else who promptly took off all of my nails and then said it would be $35. I will go back, but would appreciate a more consistent staff. Read Less

I've been going to this shop for over 10 years and there is no other shop like it. Many times you go to a shop and the owner does quality work but the others aren't so great.  At Lovely Nails,  each one of them does outstanding, quality work!  Lynn and Sue are always busy so it's a good idea to try to schedule in addition advance.  They do also take walk ins but you are better served to call ahead.  I highly recommend this shop and you won't be disappointed!!Kristin Read Less

Lyn was amazing ...this is my first time here and I received a full set of acrylic nails if you do acrylic nails you know how hard it is to find a place that does them well lyn did an amazing job and their prices are really reasonable for a full set almond-shaped (most places charge extra for this shape)  gel polish and she offered me the first time $5 yelp discount so it was $35+tip ....I was in and out within 30 minutes... however I will recommend to make an appointment because they do seem to have the regulars there and not that much staff at least on the day that I went mind you it was a Tuesday around 5 p.m.... I'm so happy I found this spot after having so many bad experiences at different salons recently this has been a breath of fresh air..*****update***** so I have gone back there several times and every time I've had Lynn do my nails and I have been pleased, however just yesterday I went there and they seem to have hired some more staff and Lynn was busy with someone else so I got someone new, before she started to do my nails she started telling me how much it would cost .... mind you everytime I go there I get the same service but her cost was a little higher than what I normally pay and one of my biggest pet peeves of a nail shop is inconsistency in pricing so I told her every time I come here I pay X why are you charging me differently and then she asked me who do I get my nails done with when I come there and I told her Lynn so her response was I don't know Lynn is the owner so maybe she gives you a discount and then she called Lynn over there so then she started talking directly to Lynn in Vietnamese and Lynn said this is what she charges I'm sorry and I said I guess I don't understand don't you guys have set prices and she said well each technician gets paid on commission and that's what she wants to charge.. but for today we can do it at the price that you normally do it at and if I do your nails I can do it at that price but going forward you would have to pay this new price if you use her.... I responded I'm sorry I'm not looking for a discount and I'm not looking for pity or any favors I just like to go into a nail shop and pay the same price for the same service every time ... I would pay more to a nail shop for consistency... I also told her  I stopped going to my other nail shop for the same reason.... she just said I'm sorry each nail technician because they get paid on commission they can charge whatever they want... I told her okay that's fine it's not fair for the customers to have to deal with different prices because the technician wants to get more Commission on the customers expense Lynn was very polite but really didn't know what else to say...so I got up and left and went to another nail shop that I loved!!  however it's too bad they lost me as a customer ... the funny part is I found out that girl actually left nail lounge to work for lovely nails...nail lounge was the nail shop I used to go to and stopped going there because their inconsistency in prices.So it's up to you ...they do good work as long as you are ok with price inconsistency Read Less

My first time to this salon. Although my toes look nice, the experience was less that relaxing. The man who did my pedi was so rough! He was digging under my nails with his "instruments" and his own nails also were poking me. The foot and leg massage was incredibly hard- almost to the point of painful and when I asked him to go lighter... he didn't.   If you like a heavy hand you might like it there. Me... not so much. I went to do my nails again (after a while not going)  at Lovely Nails this year to start the spring on a high note. There is no waiting and very good service. Yet, it is very strange to hear them converse from one end to the other and laugh as you just requested or commented your desire to have this or that done with your nails. I am very sure that they speak about their customers among themselves in their own language. This is not ok to have a group discussion and have laughter at the expense of others. I too speak another language and I am very respectful of others when I am around people who do not speak Spanish.Before leaving,  I let one of their manicurist know it was very uncomfortable for me and another customer (other lady next to me also made a face of  disapproval)  to know they all joke about their customers in their native language. She did not negate any of what I had said. Most people don't say anything because they are not bold enough or let it go because they are not sure.  This practice is rude.  I will consider going to another place and not feel awkward while I am there. Every time I have gone to this place it seems as if I have to not draw attention to myself or any of my desires because they will make some comment about what you just said and laugh among themselves.
