I normally use kevin and he is fantastic...but today I came in and was with a lady next to kevin. All I asked for was a fill...yet she cut my nails without asking (while i've been trying to grow them longer because i hate short nails) and made half of my nails crooked. Not a good experience at Clay Nails. It's like a nail factory. The polish choices are half empty bottles of old looking polish. Not very clean and a horrible waiting area. It was crowded and I waited about 15 mins, I didn't mind the wait. My girl didn't say one word to me other than what was absolutely necessary. I had a pedicure and a manicure.  My manicure looks horrible. I posted a picture. I think she needs glasses. I had to take the polish off when I returned home. Read Less

My experience with Clay Nails has been consistent every time I go back. My gel manicure lasts for 2 weeks and for me that's pretty good! Way overcharge for quality of service. They try to get done as quickly as possible. Nails weren't shaped, no pressure at all on massage, just overall poor. My top coat was dabbed on and when I asked for them to fix/smooth out they told me it was fine and I could go dry. I could get a better pedicure for a lower price in Carmel. Read Less

Good place to get nails done.  The massage chairs are comfortable, if a bit old.  However it appears they are redoing the interior and making it more modern.  I like their wide selection of pretty polish choices.  It is very close to me so that is a primary driver.  Given the shortness of my nails I am satisfied with my current French. I made an appointment the week before spring break and they got me right in.  They do somewhat rush through the massage part... $62 for gels on my fingers and polish on my toes. Read Less

Had an older woman do by nails and feet. She was done in record time. By far the worst mani and pedi I have ever had.  She barely filed, the paint job was horrible and her hand massage was a joke.  I live close to the place but I will never ever be back.   I would rather drive to a farther place.  Best thing they could do for their business is to let her go.  $44 dollars down the drain Read Less

This is my go to nail salon..they do a great job, they are friendly (know me by name now), and I think they're reasonable for this area.  If you looking for a mani/pedi definitely try Clay!  If you have a chance...ask for Kim....she is one of the best! Read Less

This salon is close to my house and for years has always done a good job. However, I went a few days ago and got a light pink gel manicure for my sorority recruitment (they have to be nude, light pink or red.) I paid the extra for gel so I wouldn't have to get them redone. They turned out a pretty pink color-I almost worried that they were too pink. I've had gel done multiple times and have never had a problem with it. Fast forward three days and my nails are not pink anymore AT ALL. They turned kind of nude at first but a little pink remained on the edges like a previous color hadn't been fully removed. Then they turned more yellow/brown and they look absolutely terrible so here I am $40 down the drain and 3 days later peeling off this disgusting color so I can redo my nails myself. So disappointed. This nail salon is less than half a mile from me, so that is the MAIN reason I go here, especially when I'm in a rush.  It is clean and the pedi chairs are nice.  The staff is polite and everyone is happy to help. I rarely have waited longer than ten minutes to get my nails done.I recently began getting gel manicures....I'm officially addicted and they do a very nice job here.  Both times I've had them done here, they have really taken their time. I just normally do a polish change b/c I really hate manis overall - they aren't relaxing for me, but I love the final result.  I do think $25 is kind of expensive but overall that is the going rate and it DOES last three weeks with no chipping.  A regular mani costs the same so it's worth it to me to do the gel.  If it's removed properly there is no major damage to my nails so that is nice.I have no issues with this place at all. I can't say it's my FAVORITE b/c it's not, but I like it and I will continue to go back. Read Less

Popped in here after Gymboree one day. The most beautifully decorated nail salon in the area! Was lucky enough to get a manicure by the owner herself. I asked for a square shape with rounded edges. She gave me the best manicure I've ever had in Indianapolis area. She also gave an awesome hand massage. My manicure usually lasts almost 7 days. This manicure is lasting beyond that and still looks great! Everything is neat and sterile. Plus no need to walk back to a sink to wash hands. They do it all at the table. Price was $15. Read Less
