This is my first time visiting this nail Spa. When I arrived I was welcomed by Quinn and her husband. I was placed with a nail tech, Harvey, that can not do color tips using dip powder. He had every excuse in the book as to why my nails was turning out a mess, while he was doing my nails. He blamed it on the length I chose, one of my finger being crooked...smh he had no clue how to do what I asked. Quinn came to my rescue and made my nails look 100 times better. I was so over ever coming back to this nail Spa, at first, until Quinn saved my day. I will definitely be back to this place but I'll be requesting Quinn to do my nails. I LOVE this salon! I went for the first time today and my lady fixed the terrible acrylic job that I got from another salon. She put a lot of time and effort into making my nails look AMAZING! Quynh, Vih and John were very attentive to my request. Went above and beyond to make my experiences a good one. 1st time i had a full set acrylic and a pedi. 2nd time tried the dip powder and design on a couple fingers and a pedi. All was perfect! Showed up at J&Qs in near tears because I was told to wait at another place where I had an appointment and had stressed that I'd be pressed for time before work & I have a very important event coming up this weekend. The owner welcomed me in and set me up with Ivy, who was very attentive. My pedicure was nice and very relaxing and my fill in was quick! I stopped in because I was in desperate need of a pedicure, I thought I had an appointment at the Aveda salon around the corner but I had my days mixed up on my todo list. I decided to try this highly rated nearby salon and spa. I'm glad that I stopped in. I was greeted right away and with a smile. I was seated quickly and my pedicure was amazing with the best massage chair ever. The gentleman, the owner, (John) performed a great pedicure and he is amazing to talk with. I just left here and Quynh did my nails she was so sweet and patient . she was gentle and I'm defiantly not used to having someone their time on my nails . even the gentleman was nice I will personally not go anywhere else after this great experience! The salon was nice and clean and the two people working were very nice. I was initially impressed with the service, but left feeling like I just threw $65 out the window. My pedicure was severely lacking (several missing steps, very little time spent on cuticles and even less on heels and only one coat of Polish with no base coat) and my fill-in was mediocre with good length and shape, but again no base coat and only one coat of French manicure. When I asked about no base coat she offered to put another layer of top coat on which helped slightly. She did decorate my nails with very cute snowflakes but the rest of my nails definitely don't reflect a $65 value. Read Less

I have lived in Avon for about a year now. When I first moved here it was hard to find a salon that worked for me. Then I found This amazing salon on New Years Eve. They took me in and saved my night!!! Quynh and John are awesome! Quynh really knows nails and spends the time with you to make sure it's done right. She is also helping me grow my own nails instead of acrylics which I did not think would be possible. So far so good!! John has some really awesome stories to share... and he is quite funny. Truly the experience in itself is wonderful. Quynh also does my eyebrows which are very sensitive and the red bumps don't last long at all. Whether you receive a pedicure from John or Quynh they are not fabulous and Quynh does great designs. Just show her a picture or give her an idea and she rocks it out!! I don't go anywhere else. Got my nails done here for mothers day with my mom. Initially they were polite. I had a picture of the nails i wanted and she said. Ok but if you do them  that long they'll be an extra $5. I didnt want them as long as the picture  so i told her that. Anyways we get get done but i dont like the final product but they we closing so i left. Next morning, which was a friday i came  back first thing in the morning  she told me come back sunday and she'd  redo them. Came back sunday and they started ganging up on me saying why didnt i say i didnt like it before, and that its my natural nails that are messed up and they wouldnt fix it. I had even tipped $15 after my service when i initially came, but after dealing with them and them having me drive there back and forth only to be rude.  I'm never coming back. And don't come here.
