I went to them a few months ago but never wrote my review. I loved this place. They did exactly what I wanted, and they were very kind and understanding. I got a full set of acrylics with a baby blue nail polish. I rarely get acrylics, so I'm very jumpy and sensitive to certain feelings when getting my nails done. I've been going here every 3 weeks for the past 2 years after switching from another salon and I've enjoyed my experience there every single time. This is a husband & wife-owned business.  Both the owners were very friendly and accommodating from the first visit and now I feel I go there to see friends.  My nails always look wonderful and I receive compliments on my manicure often. It doesn't matter who does my pedicure because they're all awesome!  I've taken both my little granddaughters in also and the girls were treated like princesses.  My suggestion is to make an appointment but they do take walk-ins and there is never more than a few minute wait.  Mina and TJ have done a fantastic job turning this salon into one of Yorkville's gems. Besides the staff and owner showing up late every time I'm there at 9:30 (they open at 9:30 but don't show up till 9:40) I gave them a few more chances but it kept happening. I really liked the way Mina did my nails but did not appreciate when I picked out a color and since she ran out, took it upon herself to pick her own. The color was not even close to what I picked and she didn't ask me before putting it on my nails. It is no chip, so you can't see the color through the bottle. She got very upset and became very rude when I asked her to remove it. Almost like a tantrum.  This is a problem when I'm paying for the service, I should get what I want. I came here for the first time with my Mother before going on vacation to get a pedicure.  We made an appointment and were set to chairs quickly when we arrived. They had a good array of polishes to choose from. i was just getting a regular pedicure however.  The technicians worked quickly and i feel they did a great job. It was a little more expensive than some places around but it was clean and felt more updated and the staff were professional, polite, and personable.  I would come back absolutely! Read Less

Called right as they opened to reserve an appointment to have my acrylics taken off and new ones put on. We got there, and the tech checked out my nails and told me they were still new, and that it'd be easier and cheaper to get a fill and the broken ones fixed. I agreed. After taking a look at my nails, he told me the last place made them too thin, and that's why they cracked and broke. On top of that, they had made my nails crooked! My mom went into this salon to get her nails manicured. The guy who gave her the manicure cut her cuticles so badly that one of them bled for 45 minutes. When she returned home and it later began bleeding again, she drove back to the salon and asked for her money back. They blatantly refused and began to yelling at her and almost literally pushing her out of the store. Not exactly the kind of treatment you would want or expect from a "spa." I would highly recommend you try another nearby salon, this one is probably the worst in Yorkville. Read Less
