This is my favorite nail salon. I've been going here for a few months and I've never had a problem. Everyone is really friendly and professional. My nails come out beautifully each time. They're a little more expensive than the other salons but it's worth it because you get quality polish and service. I've never gotten a pedicure but they're excellent with nails. Will never go back!!! I've been going here for the last couple of years, got my nails done last Saturday and there were all "bubbles" on the ends of my nails. (2nd time this has happened). I went back to have them fix my nails and they charged me for a full color change. I also bought my 2 nieces and mother with me. That's four of us who will never go back. Terrible customer service. I have frequented this salon for over 2 years and as another person said they have gone downhill. I went in today for a full set and pedicure. I arrived at 6:30 they close at 8. Not only did they rush through my full set leaving me with misshapen nails, I asked for the coffin shape, I was asked to pay as soon as they started my pedicure because they wanted to close the credit card machine down at 7:15. Liars. I asked for a Gel fullset ( which they charge $40) and I specifically asked if they used liquid gel and they said only powder gel.. little news flash gel comes in LIQUID FORM ONLY! So if they are using powder and liquid it is ACRYLIC!!!! Bastards are scamming y'all. Whatever you do.... Do not opt for the eyebrow waxing service!!! Charred my wife's skin! I have had mediocre manicures there before and have always purchased gift certificates from them for the wife's birthday, Christmas and whatever.... never again! This salon is the worst. I have had terrible, sloppy manicures twice, with my skin being damaged last time because the pedicurist wasn't paying attention and ran the file across my skin very roughly.  My mother has gone twice and both times they cut her hands and feet.  Yes, CUT - with nail clippers.  Yesterday she was cut on both her hand and foot - on her foot so badly I think she needs medical attention. She is diabetic, and something like this could become life-threatening.  They clearly don't know what they're doing, and are dangerous to public health. Management seems abusive to staff. This nail salon will be my new go-to! I work just a few seconds from this nail salon and needed a quick fix on an acrylic nail with a no chip on it (I messed it up on my own, whoops!). I stopped in and told the man at the desk I had gotten my nails done in Joliet the night before and messed one up this morning. He quickly grabbed the no chip colors and mentioned they may have a similar color. To my surprise, they had the exact color! Within 5 minutes or less my nail was fixed up. Also, to my surprise, he said the quick fix was on the house. I could not believe it! Of course, I was so gracious for the service I gave him a generous tip. BOY, it is so nice to have a real conversation with the person digging in your cuticles and breathing in your face as they pluck your eye brows. (You know what I mean?!?!).I brought my daughter here to prepare for her first school dance WITH A DATE!!!!  The staff was wonderful, making great conversation with my daughter about school, her extra-curricular activities, and the upcoming dance.In addition to the pleasant conversation, Hanancy Nails is very clean, has really, really cute decor, and has a ton of great selection of quality nail polishes (ie., OPI).
