Worst experience!!!!!!!!!!!Have never been so insulted in my life!!! Asked for a nail repair the front tech assigned me a chair, and I am assuming the owner??? Looked at my repair and said loudly in the establishment.... oh No can't not do!!! There is something very wrong with your finger. Walked in at 4:45 and wasn't acknowledged until 30 minutes later. It was Saturday so I knew I would have to wait. Not the issue. They charge $3 for a CUT DOWN (I was getting a fill in and pedi) and another $5 because I wanted silver polish on my ring finger. This is what I call petty pricing. The guy who did my feet was rude and didn't care that the water was semi cold. I came here to spend money with Jade but she stopped taking clients after 6pm although they closed at 7pm. I would NOT give this place an eighth of a star!!  Their hygiene practices are an absolute disgrace!!! Today I took my mother here for a pedicure which turned into complete turmoil.  The technician had just completed a pedicure and only sprayed the spa tub with Lysol and then rinsed it out.  I explained to the technician the importance of breaking down the spa filter to clean it and asked her to remove it so that it can be cleaned.  Needless to say she refused, so I took the liberty to remove the filter cover myself and to my surprise there was guck and who knows what else growing in and around the filter.  I showed this to the technician and told her that it needed to be cleaned, so she took a previously nail brush, applied soap, and scrubbed the filter with it.  After that, she placed the nail brush back into the caddy to be used on my mother's feet!  I told the technician that under no circumstance will she use that brush on my mother's feet/hands or anyone else in this shop for that matter.  The technician went to get the owner (Jessica) who further defended what the technician did and insisted that her shop was clean.  Jessica is completely rude and has absolutely no respect for safety/sanitation.  Furthermore, she has absolutely no respect for customers or people who have spent their money in her establishment.  You can be rest assured that my mother and I will not be back.  I recommend for anyone to steer clear of this place before the department of health shuts it down for unsafe and poor hygiene practices! I've been coming here a number of years. If you have an appointment with a certain technician, I feel that you should be taken at that time, not told to come back later because they obviously are taking walk-ins . This has happened on several occasions and I went along with it up until yesterday. I called for an appointment with a certain technician, and was told to "come in now and she will take you". Got there in less than 5 mins., and was told to come back in 1 1/2 hrs. Are you kidding me!!! Left and went to another place in that same mall. Completely different atmosphere! I have to agree with some of the other reviews as well. Very loud, unprofessional, and the staff constantly talks among themselves and you know that sometimes they are talking about the clients. Tried this place 2x. First time, was mediocre got no chip mani+ pedi, nothing special, no one was particularly nice or friendly. Just walked out of there on my second visit and went down the strip mall to another place. Was rushed through a no chip mani when someone else walked in, fine. Mani was ok. Was sat down at a bowl for pedi and literally just sat there with my feet in water while they're sure to seat everyone waiting. What a disgusting hell hole posing as a nail salon.  I brought my daughter here on a whim because she needed her nails done for picture day the next day. It was a 1/2 hour before they were closing and we were just happy to find a place open at the last minute.  Without going into great detail, this a very filthy dirty place and should be closed down.  While my daughter was one of the last customers that night, the employees who were finished for their evening sat there (waiting to carpool) in their filth with no attempts to clean or sanitize the place.   They were rude and overpriced as well.   The guy chopped all of my daughter's long nails down to nubs and then put this way too thick and 3D line of white across the top calling it a French manicure.  It looked like someone painted her nails with puffy paint.  When the guy said he was finished, I looked at her nails and there was dried white paint all under her nubby nail line.  I told him he needed to clean them up and he did.  There was nothing we could do about the 3D puffy paint or the short nails but as I sat there while they took the dried paint off, I took a picture of the filth.  This was a picture of the manicure table and the nail clippings weren't hers.  It was about a foot away from where she was sitting.  Had I sat down with her when we got there I would've never let them touch her.  I noticed this after her nails were already painted. If I could I won't give this place one star.  Today I walked in to the owner arguing with a customer regarding g a service that wasn't properly discussed.  As I tried to find my polish; for a polish change on my toes and ignore the disagreement between the two. The owner looked at me and said please don't touch the no chip bottles. I thought she meant please don't test the no chip polish, but to my dismay I heard her right the first time.  She said don't touch the bottles.  ARE YOU F$&king kidding me lady go play in traffic.  You've got to me joking to have this type of attitude with so much competition at your front/back door.  Needless to say I couldn't get out of there fast enough.... Walked in at 6:40 they close at 8. I don't like coming in late to nail salons because I understand they want to get out they have been there all day. I walk in with my mom wasn't greeted with a hello, nothing I stood there for 4 min as they still didn't acknowledge us. I finally asked do you guys have time for a pedicure and a fill in . This place is so untidy, unprofessional and unsanitary looking. The unconcerned, terrible customer service, the disgusting conditions of the salon, the cliched manner in which the staff speak about clients as if we aren't aware.  I wasn't acknowledged right away, eventually seated by a woman who I suspect is part of a slave trade because clearly she didn't want to be there. She MINDLESSLY massaged scrub & cheap pink lotion onto my legs although I WAS there for a pedi. She picked and picked and picked with her cuticle clipper corners of my toe perhaps in the hopes of passing on an infection so I had to stop her from doing that. I brought my own base/color/topcoat--THANK GOD. I didn't even recognize the off brand polish on the wall. The attire is beyond unprofessional--more like laundry mat. As long as only blacks sit in CiCi's Nail Shop there is no problem in who goes first from the list. But whites walk in and they are instantly seated regardless of the list. If I could go lower I would.  The lady doing nails who seemed liked she owned the place, had a really bad attitude and was dress very unprofessionally wearing a very skimpy red outfit.  They do not buff nails properly and when I questioned her, she asked me, if I was a nail critic.  While I was there they had several people walk out due to her rudeness.  I will not be back there.  I also watch them use products from person to person just spritzing the tools with what smelled like a alcohol spray.  This was the worst experience I have ever had and would like to warn anyone who thinks about going in there.  You're better off going anywhere else. Based on what others have said, I must have had the manager of this place. She hadn't even started my manicure when she looked at me and asked "do you want an eyebrow wax?" I politely declined because I like to keep my eyebrows thicker. She then came back at me with "are you sure? It looks like you need one." I went to Cici's for the first time as I urgently needed a pedicure and manicure.  The gentleman who was at the first station on the left did an excellent job with my manicure and was courteous enough.  I prefer less chatting and efficient servicing.  HOWEVER, when I guess the ALPHA FEMALE, as another reviewer also referred to her came in, the vibe totally changed.  She walked around interrupting services, handing out cash payments and barking orders to the staff who ran around complying with her every need.  They almost seemed like slaves.  The owner has a customer waiting, and continued to make her wait while she ran around showing everyone her outfit.The kicker was as I was waiting to use the restroom before leaving, I was browsing the no-chip polishes and this B#$% told me "do not touch the polish", "what do you need".  Needless to say I told her nothing and left and won't be back. I don't know what to say. I've been there several time in the past for both fill ins and pedicures. I'm not what you'd call a regular because I typically get my nails done close to where I work downtown. But in any event, I went there last Saturday with my mom. Me for a gel fill in and my mom for a pedicure. We arrived (no appointment) about 10 minutes after they opened. There was a couple ahead of us who had appointments for pedicures, another woman ahead of us with an appointment for a pedicure, and then the two of us. There was one woman sitting in a chair getting a pedicure, another getting a fill. There were only two employees there, which I found strange on a holiday weekend before new years eve.So, we wait for the appointments to be taken care of, as we were walk-ins, which I had no problem with. They go ahead and start water for my mom's pedicure and put her in a chair, and I waited for the only nail tech in the place to finish his client before I can get started. No problem.Suddenly, a gaggle of employees show up all at once and start working on all of the pedicures. Great - they're taking care of my mom. She's happy, I'm happy. Finally, the young man doing that fill finishes and has me sit at his station. My nails were a little shorter than I normally like them because I had filed them down a little the day before because they were much too long, and I was afraid they were going to start breaking. Well, the guy doing my nails wasn't paying any attention to what he was doing and started filing my nails. He filed one down so much that it was even with the tip of my finger. I pointed that out, and he apologized. I told him that I didn't want them that short, he said OK and proceeded to file the rest of them down, anyway. I again reminded him that I did not want them that short, he apologized and said that they all needed to match. What? OK - they'll grow out, right? Just forget it and move on. As my fill continues on, he starts filing the sides to clean up any extra acrylic, and then starts filing my nails some more! I tell him to stop, but he continued to file them even shorter and said he had to because the edges were rough. Enough!In the meantime, my mom's getting her pedicure. I keep looking over to make sure she's enjoying it, and she appears to be. Suddenly, she starts grimacing, and tells the tech something. I have no idea what's going on because she's too far away and the music is pretty loud. Later on, I find put that the girl who was giving her the pedicure was giving her a massage while talking to the other techs around her. She was massaging her legs too hard, so my mom asked her to stop. She didn't. She then told her to stop. She didn't. Then my mom jerked her leg away and started to get yelled at by the tech because she startled her. My mom complains that she was hurting her, and the tech starts yelling at her in another language. Turns out, she didn't stop because she didn't understand English. Really?Back to my fill. So, genius boy is filing my nails with the grinder now. More and more. Making my nails thinner and thinner. Finally, my nail beds are starting to hurt because the drill is making them too hot. I jerk my hand away, tell him that it's burning me, and he pulls my hand back and continues to grind away. Unhappy with the outcome of my nails, I leave without completely drying them - I just wanted out of there.After I left, I looked at my stumps and discovered that my nails were filed down past my fingertips. My fingertips actually protrude past my nails! Had I wanted them that short, why would I bother with gel nails?! I get them done so I have nice looking nails! Not this! A day later, because they were so damn thin, I actually BROKE the corner of one of them. Now, I have to go back to where I usually go tomorrow and see if there's anything they can do. I may need to soak these ridiculous things off and get a whole new full set, now. Thanks - I really appreciate having to pay twice for my nails in the course of four days.Oh yeah - we paid for our services, but no one received tips from either of us. No one deserved one.
