The minute I sat down in that chair I should of listened to my instincts and left. The guy that did my nails definitely did not prep my nails correctly for a full set to begin with. I asked if he could shape my nails stiletto style and he told me it would cost an extra $7 which is a joke because I've never been charged by anyone in the 18 years I've been getting my nails done for shaping a full set of nails. I had my nails done one day prior to leaving for my vacation and in less than one week I had 3 nails lift while out of town. When I returned from my trip I called them and told the owner that I was unhappy with my set of nails and that several nails had already been lifting in less than a week...he told me to come in so they could fix it, which is what they should say. When I got there, the owner actually had the nerve to tell me that I've been too rough on my nails and that's why they are lifting. Are you kidding me?! Definitely not the case because I've had acrylics done for years and I've never had this many problems with them EVER! I asked him to fix a 4th nail that I felt was lifting and he wouldn't even fix it, he told me "just don't bend it." So then they proceed to tell me that they couldn't find the polish color that was originally on my nails and they made me pay for a color change as well, I was furious! Only 2 days after returning for a second time, more nails started to lift! I'm beyond unhappy with my experience and I will never return to this salon again....what a rip off!!! Read Less

I gave this place a try....not happy with my pedicure. I get a pedicure once a month. I thought I'd try some place different. I chose this place because it had good reviews. The young man working on me, did a very sloppy job, nails are crooked, not cleaned up. He was very into the movie that was playing, he forgot certain steps on one foot. He took long pauses, stopped to watch exciting things during the movie, even during the massage. It was awkward and very unprofessional. I will not be returning......disappointed! Read Less

Kenny the owner and his wife are the best. My girlfriend and myself recently went in to get a pedicure. The honey oat one. Girlfriends feet looked amazing and mine felt really refreshed afterwards. I was due for a fill, but the normal place I went to had done a HORRIBLE job; I was so upset because she normally always did an excellent manicure. I made an appointment, which they were very lenient with the scheduling. We got there and there was little to no wait, seeing there had been walk-ins. Lots of colors and styles to choose from. They offered water and weren’t afraid to talk to us. I had the technician Kenny who was polite and fun. He was considerate and made sure of what I wanted. He also told me what my total would be with anything I chose. And explained the differences between acrylic and gel and anything else I didn’t know. Very thorough. He was attentive and always made sure I was enjoying my manicure. And at the end, he took a complete garbage full set and gave me a marvelous almost PERFECT set. So happy with my manicure. I have gotten my nails done twice by Kenny who does an excellent job. He is very friendly and accommodating. He was able to squeeze me in on a walk in. The place is very clean and relaxing. I'm was very happy with my acrylics and no chip color that lasted over 3 weeks. I will be returning to have more manicures in the future. I feel that the reviews from over 6 months ago are no longer reflective of the professional quality and workmanship of this business. I thought I would try this Salon today because a neighbor gets her nails done there and they always look nice. When I entered I was greeted by a friendly woman. I was able to choose a color easily because they had a very extensive supply and all of their bottles were in good condition nothing looked too dried-out out and clumpy. Peter was the gentleman who did my pedicure I would say he seemed to rush through it and didn't engage me in conversation at all. The Polish was put on a little thin and not as neatly as I've had done in the past. Overall not the worst pedicure but far from the best. Next was my manicure and it was done by Kenny a very nice man who was  easy to have conversation with. My manicure was done in a timely fashion but not rushed. Kenny did a fantastic job he shaped each one of my nails evenly and they ended up looking great. I had chosen a CatEye polish which I had never even seen applied before but was happy to have it done when it was all over it was a great finish and looked very nice. The shop was very clean and the prices were comparable to other shops in the area. I showed up at approximately 2:30 on a Monday afternoon and got right in I'd say overall it was a good experience and I will be returning in the future. Read Less

In from out of town with time to kill waiting for hubby taking care of some business. Thought I should get my toes done. I walked in without an appointment and only waited about three minutes. Awesome nail salon in Sycamore.. Prices are reasonable, staff is so friendly and they provide an excellent manicure and pedicure. This is my second visit with my 90 year old mother and we both enjoyed our pedicures in an extremely clean environment with their friendly staff. Will defiantly return! Read Less

I came as a walk-in a little before 6. My pedicurist, Ann, was talkative and funny! She did an amazing job on my feet/toes and was a delight to talk to. My manicurist (didn't catch his name) was rather reserved but did a fantastic job as well. I have been places close to closing and had them practically push you out the door, but he took it his to make sure my nails looked great. Kristy always does a great job. I live in DEKALB but work out near Aurora and at times it is easier to get off work and go somewhere on the way home. But it's not worth it! I find my way back here and she takes good care of me. Their prices are good too. I have been getting my nails done since 1999 and there are times at certain places I wonder how they even made it through nail tech school. Glad I found this place! Keep up the good work! the woman told me i couldn't get sparkles on my nails if i didn't get gel. when i asked why she just kept saying i needed gel... after i denied the gel about 4 times she finally said ok and finished my nails. instead of using a brush to spread the sparkles she used a metal tool and left scrapes all over the nails. she was rude the rest of the time and i don't recommend this place to anyone.. and sparkles/designs are $15??? Kristy Nguyen ALWAYS does a great job on my nails. She never hurts me, my nails always look amazing, she is fast and she is professional. I recommend requesting her when you go in there. Worst experience! Took well over 2 hours for a mani/pedi, and am going to have to go get them redone. A woman who came in at least 20 minutes after me got the same services and was done 20 minutes sooner. So disappointed. Complained and was told that the they can't do a refund because the credit card companies "don't work on the weekend". Miraculously when I stated I'd dispute the whole charge, she was able to refund the manicure. Was told to contact the owner, Henry, but had already been told he left and went to Vietnam, and may not come back -ever. They sent me out of the shop with my nails looking like a 10 year old did them. Have never been more disappointed in a nail salon. Wish I could give just one star, although I've had good experiences before, the lack of ability and customer service when you aren't happy takes away any other positive experiences. Read Less

My lady and I were just there this afternoon and have not gotten our nails done in a very long time. We both got the gel sets and had such a great experience! I was very happy with the time and quality of the process. When they were painted, both of our artists took their time. Everything was very clean and well done. The only thing I would suggest is to have a TV on or maybe music? It was very quiet and no one was really talking or talkative for that matter. Read Less
