I absolutely love this place!! Being diagnosed with Celiac has been a struggle to say the least. My hair and nails are brittle because of that. I went here for the 1st time a few weeks ago after a salon did exactly what I asked them not to!!! Acryllic's destroy nails anyway - but I definitely can't afford to have them! The staff here was very patient and took the time to explain what they were doing and why they were doing it. I would highly recommend this salon - very relaxing atmosphere!! Read Less

Gulden does a great job! She is warm, welcoming, and very honest in what she recommends. She will let me know if a certain service is not needed. I went to this salon for the first time because I had heard some good reviews about the salon. I walked in with no appointment and was immediately able to sit in the pedicure chair. The lady was super nice that helped me. Service was good. I did ask for a design and it did not turn out how I would have liked. The flowers look like a blob with a rhinestone in the middle. My feet feel like I did not get a pedicure at all, that I just got my nails painted. My heels look like they did when I went into the place. It took me an hour and a half. I am very unhappy how my feet and toes look.  I will not be going back and I will not be recommending anyone. Read Less

I recently had a mani-pedi and the service was incredible. The decor is upscale and it has a true 'spa' feel to it, relaxing and exceptionally clean. Just had the best service ever here! Theresa (nail tech) gave me a shellac pedi and regular mani. The salon is quiet, everyone working here is local, the place is super clean and my mani and pedi are perfect. Great choice of polish colors, plenty parking and did I mention it's quiet and clean?! Worst customer service experience I've had at a salon.... My friend and I made an appointment because she had heard a few good things about the salon. We arrived right on time yet the owner made me wait 15 minutes so she could finish giving herself a manicure. She was very rude, making comments about my personal nail maintenance. Did I even ask?! She even left me in the chair to go make personal phone calls. (She was not shy about her phone conversation) Needless to say, I do not recommend anyone to Gulden's. I will never go back. Read Less

Nice, new, clean. A regular spa that takes appointments, but they are very accommodating to walk-ins. I guess the main thing that I like, which is going to sound prejudiced as heck but true, is that they're all locals. They speak English. They're not constantly talking to each other in another language. I've always thought that was extremely rude, no matter what language my technician speaks. The fact that I have no idea what they're talking about makes it all the more rude. This place is pretty quiet. I come to a spa for some relaxation and to de-stress. This is a good place to do it. I just get regular manicures. I hate having my nails thick. They do the shellac colors. I wash my hands constantly due to working in healthcare. They last a long time and have really helped my nails hold up a lot better. They're just building up their clientele, but they have a great location on Wabash in the same strip as Qdoba.
