Tried a few places when I was new to the area and was not happy. Then I found Star Nails and have been coming for over a year now. Everyone is great. My Mom and my teenage daughter also have become regulars. They do serve wine which is nice on some days. Lots of parking. My new favorite nail salon! Read Less

I’ve been here and had some really great experiences because there are some super awesome nail techs here!!!!! BUT I just got a 15 minute pedicure........lol I don’t know about you but to ME a pedicure is something that should be a nice relaxing experience for AT LEAST 30 minutes or so. That’s the whole reason I wanted one!! Very disappointed :/ (and my toenails are crooked) I am unsure of what the lady’s name even was because she didn’t say one word to me. Ever since they expanded a few years ago, the quality of their work has really diminished.  I used to go to every two weeks but now the wait time is over an hour (even with an appointment) and the staff is rude to you. They spend most of their time complaining and hiding in the back. The last time I went there I waited for an hour and a half for a no chip with an appointment, they didn't have the color I picked. I had to pick four more colors before they had one. The next day my nails chipped. This is not the first time the nails haven't survived more than 24 hours. Read Less

I went to Star Nails for the first time per a recommendation from my niece.  The young guy with glasses who did my pedi and mani was very friendly.  He spoke to me rather than talk to other workers about me as I've experienced at other local nail places.  Super nice guy.  The only thing I wish he had done was to more thoroughly buff the bottoms of my feet.  In a day or two they looks dry again.  Otherwise he did a great job! The staff is always nice, friendly, and very accommodating.  As a guy getting a pedicure and manicure here I don't feel out of place. And, my toes are gross. Erica just pulled out a lot of crap from my toes, I think there was a bit of sock from 1992 she pulled out. I have gone to other places, and I alway end up bleeding from my cuticles being Roto routered out, but not here. Read Less

I was happy with my manicure. However, I was extremely insulted when my manicurist and the employees around her chattered endlessly in their native tongue and I felt practically invisible. She said nothing to me other than try to sell me the no-chip manicure. Although I embrace diversity in the workplace, it is rude to the client who should be the main focus of your attention.
