I got a no-chip manicure that CHIPPED in 3 days!! The 2 nails were fixed by buffing down the chipped area and repainting the area. And guess what?!....It chipped again! If I could give a zero rating I would. Walked in and was not given a friendly greeting. The greeting recieved was "what you want?". While receiving a nail treatment another costumer walked in, the nail tec stoped doing my nails and said you wait 5 min and proceded to service the new costumer. 15 min latter I was moved to a new station where another costomer was just finished. The staff are rude and not welcoming, nor it the shop kept up. The chairs have tape on them with flaking leather. I would not waste your money here. Find a quality salon. Read Less

I had a weekday off and thought I'd indulge in a pedicure (and delicious apple fritter doughnut next door) but... Wow!!!!  They have a $15 pedicure deal Sunday through  Thursday!  I added on the $6 lemon sea salt foot scrub like many recommended!  It was the best decision ever!!! Do it!!! Great, soothing massage and she took her time!!! This isn't a fancy nail salon-  but she took cut, trimmed, scrubbed, massaged and painted my nails to perfection!!! Will definitely be back! My friend and I have been coming here for the past four years. I literally call & the woman that answers says "two pedicures for 7pm" because we've become that regular. The shop is very clean & the employees are very nice. They have a decent color selection as well. The pricing is super cheap. $15 for a pedicure Monday-Thursday. $17 Friday-Sunday. Fabulous, it's more than worth it. They offer a sea salt massage too, that I've got once or twice. It's $3 more. If you have sensitive skin, I wouldn't recommend the sea salt for you, it's rough on your skin. - totally makes your legs feel amazing afterward though! Read Less

The ladies do a nice quality job and take their time. Definitely recommend the $6 up charge for the lemon foot scrub/massage!  1.5 hours for a mani/pedi plus the extra scrub. Minus a star (should maybe be minus 2) because the place isn't very clean and I'm not totally sure they sanitize products like they should. Read Less

Finally found my place.. prices are amazing, the place is clean.. there's usually a wait (that should tell you something) it's 15 bucks for a pedi most days and 18 on the others, they offer a sea salt scrub to add for 6 bucks. This Nail spa is literally down the street from me and I just had to try it! It's a small business and I always like visiting those types because they are much more detailed and interactive . Goes to say that they are very detailed and have a special Sunday - Thursday with pedicures being only $15 and you can add a lemon sea salt foot message for only $6. I LOVED IT!!!! And I absolutely would recommend it to anyone in the Schaumburg area! They also have a warm towel heating for no extra charge and they make sure you get what you paid for. Disappointed. The pedicure deal in itself is great. The time to get a manicure is another thing. Went in for mani pedi, sat down and began the pedicure right away. Afterwards waited 30 minutes at a station to begin. I decided to not get acrylics or gels or even shellac because I had no idea how much longer I was going to wait. Picked out a new color (basic manicure at this point) and a tech told me 5 more minutes. Waited more five minutes. Got up and paid for my pedicure and left. Overall 1.5+ hour to get half of what I went in for. 5/5 would NOT recommend if you have a schedule you actually want to stick to. Read Less

UPDATED- Sadly I had to lower their rating because there was a huge issue when I tried to pay. The credit card machine was not working. They made me stand there for 15 minutes after my pedicure had already taken an hour. I offered to go get cash but they kept trying the card on the broken machine, and I told them I was late for another appointment. Finally they gave me my card back and I went back two hours later before they closed with the cash that I owed them. No discount was offered for the inconvenience:( $15 pedicure Sunday-Thursday! That's hard to find these days. The reviews about them not speaking English are partially accurate. Most of the employees definitely have limited English, but the difficulty for me was trying to understand them. When I walked in I was asked to pick a color, and then the man told me I would have to wait 10 minutes. But I felt so bad because I could NOT understand what he was saying even though he kept repeating himself. Finally, a woman repeated it and I understood her. The pedicure was good. I opted for the $6 up charge for the lemon sea salt foot massage. It was a nice long massage, but I wish it was a more interesting massage than simply rubbing up and down the front of my leg. She didn't even touch my calf muscles. The foot massage portion was better, and included both the top and bottom of my feet. I've also been here to get my eyebrows waxed before, and the woman is always kind and focused, and I'm pleased with the result. I took my mother and 7 year old daughter in for manicures and pedicures. It was a holiday weekend and they were PACKED. We had reservations so we were in right away and I didn't feel like they rushed us at all. One of the women did some special nail art on my daughter and they treated her so wonderfully! The price was unbeatable! I plan to take my daughter back every month because, for what they charge, it's affordable! Definitely spring for the lemon sea salt scrub... it's worth every penny! I'm real sad because I generally really liked this place. I've come here for numerous pedicures and the occasional no-chip. However, my last visit ended with chipping and peeling after 3 days. I went back in on the 4th day and they fixed it free of charge. After 1 day, all my nails but 3 have completely peeled off. Now I feel weird going back in to complain (plus I just don't have the time) but they didn't even last a full week. I'm in Schaumburg temporarily but needed a mani/pedi before an event next Friday. I Yelped "cheap pedicure" and Mimi's Nails came up. Yelp reviews were good so I decided to try it out. I called before I came but no wait. I chose my color and was immediately ushered to a chair. The technician was gentle and worked quickly. Next up was my no-chip manicure and I chose a color, but the color reacted to body heat (odd) so I chose my go-to purple. The tech was clearly detail-oriented and took care with her work. I liked this place (great prices, good service) but I was a little disappointed in what I thought was a limited selection, especially in the no-chip colors. Read Less

If I could give zero stars I would. I came here after a few visits that were nice. Unfortunately, I will never come back due to the nail tech's ignorance. Instead of clipping what was a minor hang nail on my big toe, the nail tech proceeded to pull on it, pulling my entire cuticle back. The next day my toe was incredibly sore. A few days go by and my toe seemed a quite swollen and it was unbearable to walk. I went to my doctor and was told there was an infection and I was put on augmentin to get rid of the nasty infection caused by this incident.
