Five star nail care!  Strangers actually approach me to compliment my nails!  While every technician is wonderful, I love Denee for my manicure and Jennifer does a fantastic pedicure.  They use only the highest quality products and keep abreast of the newest trends. The spa is always immaculately clean. The atmosphere is very relaxing and i alway leave there feeling renewed.I also had foot reflexology done by Agnes and it was heavenly.  I had to fight to stay awake because i did not want to miss one second of this soothing experience.  The entire staff is always warm and welcoming. Absolutely BEST pedicure I have ever gotten! From the massaging, to the paint, it was amazing and relaxing. I would absolutely suggest their seasonal pedicure, it's marvelous. I'm sad to be here only for a few days, but if I'm ever back, I might just have to schedule a full spa day! The whole place is very homie, very comfortable! I have been going to Chelsea Tyler for the last 15 years and I always have a positive experience.  I have used Jennifer, Denee and Melina and they are all excellent!  They are all very friendly and they take good care of me.  I have gone to other Nail and Body Spas in the past and nothing compares to Chelsea Tyler.  The spa is extremely clean and I can just sit back and relax and get pampered!  I mainly get shellac manicures and pedicures, and eventhough their pedicures are more expensive than other salons it is definitely worth the extra money!  I have had hot stone massages with Agnes and she did a fantastic job.  I gave my husband a gift certificate for a hot stone massage and he loved it!  I always recommend Chelsea Tyler to any friends that ask where a good nail salon is for Mani/Pedi's! I can't believe I haven't written a review on this place before. I used to come here all the time for manicures when I lived and worked in Schaumburg back in 99-2001. Every single time I had a manicure, it was perfection. It's a very small spa, but it's lovely. The manicurists are all excellent at their craft, and friendly. I've also had a facial here before, and it was wonderful as well.I just revisited Chelsea Tyler again this weekend with a girlfriend for manicures and pedicures.  It's literally been almost a decade since my last visit, and it's still one of the best nail spas I've been to. Milena did my mani and pedi, and she was both delightful and meticulous. In this day and age of overcrowded, pungent acetone scented nail factory type joints where the staff speak only to each other and not the guests, Chelsea Tyler is like a little heavenly nail oasis. I tried the new 7 day polish, which I hadn't even heard of till this visit, and I loved it. My friend was thoroughly pleased with her services as well.If I had one tiny criticism, it would be that the receptionist was less than friendly when I arrived and when I checked out. It was hard finding the parking lot to this place. The salon is just south of Schaumburg road and the parking lot is the last driveway before Schaumburg road if you're heading north on Roselle. It's the only entrance to the parking lot I believe.My nail tech, Jennifer, was great. I got a regular mani and it was $21!! Never expected to pay that much for a mani. I have been a client of Denee for nails and Diana for waxing at Chelsea Tyler for over 10 years.  My office used to be close to the spa but now I live and work downtown and still travel to Chelsea Tyler for my appointments because I value the quality of their work, their professionalism, and their prices.  Denee and Diana treat their customers with respect, dignity, and friendliness. They are also very flexible in working to accomodate their customers' needs and schedules.  I am appalled by the recent review from Lisa T.  Denee is a wonderfully caring, respectful person and extremely ethical.  I have recommended many people to Chelsea Tyler over the years who are now regular customers.  I would recommend Denee without reservation to anyone looking for quality, value, and a relaxing environment. I live in Chicago and traveling to Schaumburg for appts. at Chelsea Tyler Nail Spa every few weeks is well worth the trip. I used to have really short, bitten, thin nails that I was certain couldn't be saved, but my friend recommended Denee and I couldn't be more pleased. She worked her magic with gel nails and now shellack. I get compliments on my nails all the time. The brow service is top-notch, too. I was searching for a phone number and came accross the most recent review from Lisa. I am shocked by this comment as Denee does an amazing job! It is a privilege to have Denee do your nails as they always look great. Denee does whatever it takes to fit her clients in even if it means coming in early and staying late. Denee takes pride in her work and never rushes through the service. Denee knows the latest trends always helps me decide what color I should do on my hands and feet. I have been going to this salon for 10 years and not only do I  get my hands and feet done but also go there for my waxings and facials. I know of this client, as one day I was getting my nails done and Denee informed me that a new client was going to come in and sit and watch how Denee does nails. At first I found this kind of odd but again this just goes to show that Denee will do anything for her clients (existing and new) while Denee was doing my nails this Lisa girl questioned everything she did. Several times she would interrupt and question what she was doing. I have gel nails on and so did this client Lisa, she literally would stop Denee and say the line isn't completely straight or this looks crooked! Who does this, what a nut job. There is no wonder why three salons have asked her to leave and I wouldn't be surprised the salon she currently goes to does not ask her to leave. I highly recommend this salon and Denee!! Read Less

I had been going to Chelsea Tyler Nail Salon for many many years.  Denee did a good job on my nails.  However, the way she treats her clients is not favorable.  I have heard from several people who recently left this salon that it wasn't just me that had trouble.  Denee treats you as if you are lucky to get your nails done by her, vs. you are the client and she is lucky you chose her.  She lied to me and told me she was bed ridden because she didn't want to do my nails anymore.  Instead of being honest.  She let me know she wanted to quit working so many Saturdays (which is when clients usually want their nails done).  She kept trying to get me to come during the week after I moved to the city.  It just wasn't conducive to my schedule to drive at 5pm in traffic.. so a few weeks later I got a text making up a story that she would NOT be doing nails for a while... if ever.  So since this sounded odd to me, I decided to have a friend call to make an appointment with her (new client) .. she got right in!  Completely unprofessional.  Be honest with your clients.  I also heard there was a mistake in scheduling with one client and when she was late 30 minutes (according to their records) she turned them away and said nothing we can do she's booked.  I want to let EVERYONE know if you have problem with this salon or are thinking of trying them... don't plan on it being long term... so here's a better salon that DOES DO LCN...JD Michael Studio and they have 3 technicians who ALL do LCN, and they were all trained by an LCN Educator who works on site!  Jhissel's nails are even better than Denee... and they are all trained and really friendly there.  At Chelsea Tyler it seems more like your in school with a mean teacher!  No more searching for a nail salon that uses LCN.  It's a drive, but a Bakers Square is down the road .. go to JD Michael Studio.. get your nails done, have a laugh with the girls and pick up a pie! :-) Read Less

I had a face-facial and bacne "facial" treatment. It's a small space, but the important part was the service. I was so comfortable and thought I definitely got my money's worth. I thought it was fairly priced, and one of the few places that has back treatments. They catered to my skin type and concerns, and the esthetisian actually listened to me. I was given a giftcard here for Christmas, and decided to go here for a half-leg and underarm wax before going on vacation.  It's a small space, but they offered what most spas did.  I wasn't offered a drink, which I prefer, it was more self serve.   Services are on the expensive side.The only reason as to why I gave 4 stars was because of the lady who did my waxing, Sharon, she was so nice.  I felt very comfortable around her, and she was knowledgeable in her line of work.  While she was waxing, she let me know beforehand what she was going to do, you weren't nervous with anticipation.  She seriously made sure no stray of hair was left behind, which I LOVE, I didn't have to do that at home.  Overall-Cleanliness:  APrices:  BService:  A---------------------Grade-  A Read Less
