Its the 1st time i dont like a set of full nails.. i asked for a medium coffin size nails she gave me large nails. they look so thick in person. and as you can see the pictures they dont look like coffin shape. she did my nails in a hurry. the color is gorgeous but in person you see black spots on my nails. pictures dont make a justice. i will never go there again. I've been going to this place for 2 years for mani and pedis they do an amazing job you can see anyone there they all work well you can bring them designs and different ways you want your nails done and they will make it look 100xs better than the photo u brought them. Never had any issues, as previous comments. When you’re doing a walk in, except delays, or call make appt. I always call ahead, asking good time. I used to have my nails at different salons. I had to deal with my nails lifting, popping off sometimes same day etc. I have been going here 3 years, not planning to go anywhere else. I can go 3+ weeks without any lifting or popping. I've gone to a few nail places near by and this is by far the best place to get my no chips done! They always cut my cuticles perfectly, and make sure that all my nails are the same shape. My daughter and I went in for a fill on our acrylic nails. They were changed to gel without our knowledge and we ended up being charged WAY more than a fill for acrylic would have been. $25 each. I will not go back, EVER! NICE people but they don't listen, do whatever they want without asking and now we're stuck with something we don't want and weren't consulted about. Don't go here! I got my nails did on a Friday a full set, all my nails were coming up that following Tuesday. I went back to the nail salon to get them fixed and they redid my nail then the guy that works there told me I have to pay $10 for him to paint them. Which pissed me off because I wouldn't need my nails redid if they didn't mess them up in the first place. Very poor customer service. Thats the last time I'll be going back there. Read Less

I made an appointment for my daughter to get her nails done on Friday for homecoming.  Got there, she was taken right away.  The tech that did her nails was older (late 40's to early 50's maybe).  Did not speak to my daughter except in a clipped way.  for example - this polish? - go wash your hands now.  Cut her more than once because she used scissors for cuticles. Finished her maincure, had her go sit to dry the polish.  My daughter is then ignored for 20 minutes.  Finally a young male employee asks "why are sitting here?"  She says  she was told to sit here & the tech would tell her when the nail polish was dry.  He grabbed my daughter's hand, looked at it for maybe one second and said - "You go now".   Guess what - it was still not dry.  We will never go back. The first time I came in I had given up on finding a tech by the next morning for an event, but just noticed the salon in WalMart! I didn't expect anything extravagant. I told Tina what I was looking for and she did EXACTLY what I wanted- for some reason a surprise in this business. I have been searching all my life for a nail chick like Tina! It was love at first stroke LOL. Sometimes I just come in, close my eyes, and let her take care of me- never disappointed. I don't know what anyone is talking about with the family, Don and his family are the nicest people! My daughter comes in JUST to see Darlene, if we are just shopping we always stop to say hello and hug it out. This place is the best for convenience, price, selection, AND technique! I use to love this nail salon, until I noticed that Don the owner was very unfriendly, he does an exceptional job on your nails, however, a friendly small conversation with a customer wouldn't hurt. All of them are unfriendly and rude when you walk in as if they are doing you a favor by doing your nails. Now there is one girl who is (thin pretty short young girl) - she is soooooo friendly and kind to all the customers, she only does pedicures. I don't know her name. And, for the best pedicures in there - you should only ask for MARK - he is awesome, friendly, kind, caring and shows great care when doing your pedicure - I highly recommend MARK for a pedicure. The rest of them Don, his mom and the others are unfriendly, arrogant, and speaks very little English. When I walk into the shop after 5+ years of going to this salon - he  turns or drops his head down so that he doesn't have to speak to you upon entering the salon. Now how rude is that?  I only continue to go back to the salon - if I am desperate and my other salon is too busy for me and then I will xall them as back up . I only want MARK to do my pedicure, if he is not there I will walk out. However, Don does great nails - but he is very very unfriendly and arrogant in my opinion. I don't really care for him at all - but he and only he can do the best nails in that salon. I have tried them all. MARK is the best pedicurist there. I went to this salon after work since they were one of few that i had remembered where open after 6pm. I was a new customer, but I'm pleased with the service. Was a little disappointed to see that they used scissors instead of a nail cutter; but doesn't mean it was bad. It's a small space inside of a Walmart so I wasn't expecting glamour. however I was concerned when I over heard a woman complain that they wouldn't take her punch card for her mani/pedi even though because they said the NEXT time they would. I believe they resolved the situation, but for a person who said they were a 3 year customer, it's not smart to be stubborn about something like that. I love this place and the owner and staff as well. I like that they have so many different options in colors and technique. I usually get the no chip manicure but this time I decided to do a full set in gel and I did the Gelish nail polish and their colors are very pretty! I loved that I didn't have to wait for my polish to dry and they look amazing. They're very welcoming, I called ahead of time to see their hours and they still took me even though they were closing in 30 min.I always get lucky and I have the owner do my nails every time I go in. I ABSOLUTELY love this nail salon. Been comming here for the last year. My aunt recommended me. And there hasnt been 1 time that i didnt get complimented on my nails or asked where i got them done! I've been coming to Regal Nails for the past 5 years, and I must say I've never been disappointed. This place is located inside the Rolling Meadows Walmart. Perfect if you need to do a bit of shopping. It's owned by an amazing family who are always so friendly & helpful. Every time I go in we have something to talk and laugh about, they always make me feel like family. They have so many no-chip colors, which is what I always get. I have been going to this place for over TWO YEARS. Only reason why i kept going was because of Noon (nail tech). She was awesome, but when she left I decided to just keep going to the salon and see different techs instead. The owner (male) is rough with my nails and caught my skin with the tool on a few different occasions. The times where i was unhappy with the service outweigh the times that i was happy, so i finally decided to stop going to them. Btw DON'T GO TO THE OLDER LADY (owners mom) she is horrible. Had a pedicure done after work... they're open later than most places so that is convenient. So far been here twice and had 2 of the female techs... While the pedicure process of callous removal for an extra fee is decent (better with the younger, second person then the first older one) - the polish painting is not spectacular by any means. Smudges happen, and polish selection (old dry polish) in addition to lack of fine motor skills... leaves a medicore result. Not a fan at all of the tootsies when I leave.Not sure if I will continue to go here... its the later hours and the convenince of getting stuff at Walmart that has lured me back - but I dont need any more storage containrs so the shopping need is gone. Absolutely horrible!  I went here based on the reviews on Yelp, and I couldn't be more unhappy than I am now.  I went in to get my nails taken off, and the lady didn't bother to soak them at all; she just began prying them off. Only until my nail bed began bleeding profusely on my ring finger did she finally soak my nail!  I had to put band aids on 5 of my fingers because she was so rough with them - parts of my natural nail came off with the acrylic, leaving the ends of my nail beds exposed and super sensitive.  They obviously don't care about doing procedures the correct way to minimize pain to their clients!
