No sure how this place has 5 stars. They did a horrible job on my friend and I. We got full set acrylics and there were quite a few things wrong. First, the place is unsanitary. If you care about that, do not come here. Second, the amount of layers of acrylic they put on was too much. The nails are too thick/chunky and have dried acrylic under neath the nail and adhered to the skin on the sides of my nails, causing me pain. I had to cut the excess hardness off when I got home. Thirdly, the nail painting was messy. I have smudges from the nail tech on my nails that dried and look cheap. There is unevenness in the coating you can visibly see as well and lots of air bubbles. Mind you this isn’t on one nail, but all. The fourth issue, is I requested coffin nails and I did not get coffin nails at all. I got unevenly filed nails that just look straight and the edges of the nail were filed unevenly leaving them looking slanted. The couple were very nice and talkative and actually conversated with you which was great but the quality of the job was not. Me and my friend now have horrible nails we paid $40 for when we could’ve went somewhere else and paid the same price for better service. Definitely won’t be back. Read Less

I have been to many places in Cypress, and Island Nail is by far my favorite. They have an amazing choice of colors (polish, shellac, and powder). I've had about 4 or 5 nail technicians do my nails and they are perfect every time! I highly recommend them! Read Less

First visit after seeing many recommendations for this place and now I see why. I was greeted immediatley when I walked on. They had many color choices which I loved. Complimentary drinks, (my mimosa was a little warmer than I like, but was served with a fresh sliced orange in a cute glass). Angie did an amazing job on my full set and even included a little hand massage. I've never had a hand massage with my nail service. My only real complaint was Angie's station is off to the side in a corner, not in the middle of the salon, so I was staring at a wall the whole time. I'll definitely be back. Stacy made sure she got to me even though it was her day off! When I got there the amazing pampering began with Anne. I recieved the Island Pedicure and it was aaaamaaazing...so relaxing. Anne made sure to match my toenail Shellac to the nail art Stacy and I had discussed. Anne also gives an exceptional massage and the salon offers customer service that goes above and beyond. Then there's STACY she is truly an artist! She did an amazing job on both my nails and my lashes. This woman is gifted and knows exactly what each clients is looking for. I just moved to the area and saw they had received great reviews, and I see why!!! This place is beyond great! Beautiful, relaxing surroundings and friendly, welcoming staff. Complimentary beverages which were delicious and beautiful (I know, the appearance may not be that important but it doesn't hurt). And to get to the real nitty gritty of it, the service was outstanding!! Let's just say I don't naturally have the most beautiful nails in the world (and I have those horrible Megan Fox thumbs) so to make my nails look even remotely normal is a challenge for most nail techs.
