Homophobic?: So I came in with my best friend to get my nails done. Keep in mind I'm a guy so I only wanted them trimmed and have my cuticles cut, simple. After my friends and I's nails were done, I went to this older male staff member who I believe was the manager and asked him if they required cash or credit for payment. He first ignored me and when I politely asked again he literally yelled at me in the middle of his establishment and angerily said credit. I honestly think he assumed I was gay to be honest and used that as an excuse to be disrespectful. By looking at the rating and reading the other comments, this guy seems to have a reputation for mistreating women as well. He is a stereotypical Asian male sadly and to be honest he is making his entire shop look bad. Read Less

This was the first time that I've ever sat in front of a nail technician where she actually took at the moment to ask me what I wanted to make sure that it looked good in every direction and to give me a very thorough nail experience. I really appreciated the fact that it was very clean it was efficient I was in and out in 30 minutes and I didn't pay through the nose for a full set of acrylic. I got my nails done in an almond shape and she was able to accommodate that without making them look lopsided or uneven. If you go in there talk to Sally because she's the one who does amazing work. Terrible service. I went in there for acrylic nail removal which they charged $10. She didn't use acetone and peeled them off with a fake nail. She decided to do this after not being able to convince me to do a refill ($30). I knew there was something off and it wasn't right until I after left I realized how much of a poor experience it was. Nails were poorly filed and buffed, wasn't until I got home cut them right. Cheap quality at a high price. The woman drilled them and removed my nails leaving them so thin and brittle, didn't even treat them with oil. Don't go here. I'm doing you a favor. Unless you want to get ripped off. The man was VERY RUDE. Argued with me the whole time telling me how bad my nails were so I'd pay more when I only needed a fill. Filed my real nail to a point! And made him fix it. Worst experience I have EVER HAD! I have went to this place three times and EVERY time I had an issue. The customer service is horrible! The first time I was having a pedicure done for my birthday, they threw a towel at my head and laughed about it, no apology, the next time I was doing fake nails, and was scolded for not telling her that the light turned off for the nail dryer. The third time is the last time I will ever go here. In this time, I went and was getting acrylic nails. It was supposed to be $20, they gave me gel acrylic nails that I didn’t want and charged me $35 for the service. In the time that he did my nails he burnt my nails so bad it felt like it was on fire, they were bleeding and sloppy and not even how they should have looked, he refused to let me go up to the counter to have my receipt and pay I had to pay at his desk. I had to go back and complain because they were done so bad! The guy fought with me and then gave me $5 back. Upon going to his desk he made sure the whole place new, and walking up I got horrible dirty looks from the employees!!! Never coming again, terrible service and terrible customer service. Update: They re-did my wifes nails after going back for the third time (one initial, then two visits back for fixing). I am changing the 1 star review to a 3 star review only because They did try to fix the problem this time around. Original review: STAY AWAY*** THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE!!! If I was able to give ZERO stars that would be a compliment for this place because it deserves NEGATIVE stars. Extremely rude and unprofessional staff and the worst quality nail job ever. We were in a pinch, out of time, and did not read reviews before hand. Wish we did because now my wife has to go somewhere else to fix what this place messed up. We were given multiple different prices in the beginning and ended up paying $40 for a no chip full set WITHOUT color. Everything kept being extra so she said she would paint them herself. NEVER AGAIN!! I went there last night only because I was in a time crunch and my usual place could not get me in at the time I needed. It was a disaster I'm not sure if I was just unlucky with the tech I got but I won't try again. First she burnt my finger, then she glued her finger to my finger. I should have knew at that time to get up and walk away. I wish I would have. When she was putting the nail on I requested them to be narrow, after she filed them I told her they were too wide that I didn't like the shape and asked if she could make them more narrow but instead she decided to argue that my natural nail is that wide. Simple fact the natural nail I brought with me last night is the same I have owned for 38 years!!! They are not at all wide. So I said ok and figured I just wanted to be done so I let her finish. Fake nails are not permanent and can be fixed later and not worth the argument. But I really liked the color I picked out so at least I would be leaving with something positive. It got worse! She used the cuticle cutter and took a chunk of meat out of my finger!!!! I got a bunch of apologies and she took $5 off my bill!!!!!! So I left with the ugliest nails and a bandaid. I can not believe it. I should have stayed home! Like I said I might have just been unlucky on the person I got but you should be able to walk into a place and be taken care of and not hurt no matter who's chair you sit in. First time I went there, everything was fine. Service was great, staff was friendly, and I left feeling pretty good. I enjoyed myself so much the first time, I thought I'd go a second. The second time I went in there, this crabby older lady with stenciled in eyebrows did my nails. She asked me if I wanted a design for $5, I agreed and allowed her to do whatever design she wanted, she did a 'cheetah print' that was just a bunch of half-assed white smears. Then she attempted to put a jewel on my thumb, and ended up smearing my nail polish. She wasn't even going to fix it, she just told me to go out my hands under the light. I proceeded to tell her that I didn't like my nails, and that I had decided to go with the gel nail polish, and I didn't want a design anymore. I apologized for the inconvenience, and she just scoffed and started man handling my hands. Then she looked up and said very rudely to me, "Are you sure you want gel? You should go ask your mom for permission because it's $30, very expensive." I replied with "I am aware of the price, I am paying for myself." She acted surprised and continued to do my nails, and was persistent in reminding me that the gel is $30, I had brought in my own color of polish and the gel color she matched it with was not even close to what I wanted, and at that point, I was done and just wanted to leave. She over trimmed my nails and buffed them so rough she burned my hand with the machine and I left with my nails too short and sore. The edges we're done sloppy and I had air bubbles that formed at my cuticles. When I went up to pay, she took my card and was hinting at me paying her double for the extra time she had to do my nails. She kept saying "I did your nails twice." I apologized again and left without giving a tip, I had never felt so insulted trying to get my nails done. I didn't even like the service I got and just wanted to go home and take it all off. Really wish I had the read the reviews before coming here. I was in town for a wedding, and needed my nails done for a trip I was going on the next day. Decided to get a full set, and came here because when I called they said it was $25. Which is as cheap as it gets. But you get what you pay for..this place is so incredibly dirty I couldn't believe it. But I was on a time crunch so stayed anyway. Showed them a picture of what I wanted, and they proceeded to tell me they needed to do a gel acrylic (which I'm pretty sure they didn't even use that, and used a regular acrylic anyway. Still charging me an extra $10 though) and that I needed a no chip on top. Which was an additional $10. Tried to ask for regular polish but they insisted I needed the no chip to get my nails like the picture. Ok fine, did it because I figured they knew better then me. The nails turned out ok. But were way too long, and uneven. After I filed them myself they looked way better. So I paid $45 for a full set that I didn't even really like, and at a place that clearly needs to be shut down immediately due to sanitary reasons. Do NOT go here!!! Read Less

My mom got a full gel set and I decided to just get them painted while waiting for her. The lady didn't care to give me good customer service probably since I wasn't spending much. They make sure you are happy with your service, whether it's a full set, polish change, or a wax. I moved out of Lake Mary, and now drive just to be able to have them do my nails. Horrible horrible service. I asked the nail technician to please be careful with my toe because I had stubbed it and broke the nail awkwardly- instead she ends up cutting me on both of my toes while cutting my cuticles and I start bleeding. She then filed my finger nails but didn't even them out. Oh! And She also put on a really old topcoat on my nails and when it dried it looked bubbled. So by the time I got home my nails  were chipped and later one of my nails broke because of the awkward filing they did. I am never going there again. Read Less

I have been to this place a handful of times In a couple of years. The first couple of times they did ok, that's why I came back a few more times. The last few times however I have left unhappy with my services. In today's issue, I asked for a black French tip, no chip mani and a regular pedi. 5 minutes after walking in my tech had asked me 3 times what color I was gonna choose. Umm, excuse me, do you not see me looking? I seriously had to ask him for a 'second'. The pedi water was burning hot. He rushed through the pedi. My mani came around. The water to soak my hands in was cold. I asked for a solid nude base with the black tips. I did not want a see through shade. What did I get? A See through nude. I had to ask him to do a second coat on the black tips because the first coat was so thin it looked purple. He didn't even clean underneath the gunk in my nails. Then he cleaned 4 of them and was done. I had to sit there and take it out myself. Everyone is yelling to each other and they never listen to what you're saying. They want you in and out because they need to rack up that cash. After this time I will never go back there. Time to hunt for a decent nail salon... Read Less

Very dirty! Looks as though they never wipe down the tables as they are full of nail dust and god knows what else. Also, if you just want a simple manicure do not go here. They are so pushy regarding their "no chip polish" and will tell you that you have ugly yellow nails, nail fungus etc, all because you won't let them upsell you to no chip polish. If you are only getting a manicure they rush you out so they can move onto someone else who's purchasing more expensive services. Very unsanitary and I will never go back. I needed a quick manicure couple days ago and I was at the mall visiting. There was a little bit of a wait at the other nail place, so I decided to stop by here. I had to tell my tech 3 times that I want my nails files round and not edgy straight. She did not speak to me at all, the place was disgusting with overly loud Vietnamese drama on while everyone is talking to each other.I've been to plenty of salons now that I don't know how this place has been occupied at all. This salon is located within Cherryvale Mall.  It is very convienent, and I have gone twice, but will never go back again.  The staff is doesn't seem to care about your experience, they are more interested in talking to each other in another language than to the customers. It is also VERY dirty.  Nail shavings and dust EVERYWHERE.While having my nails done, the nail tech clipped me no less than 4 times with the electric nail file, then after finishing my acrylics, did not use the file to remove the excess acrylic from under my nails.  I spent the next week attempting to get it out myself.Overall, there are much better places to go in town for right around the same price.
