I love this place! After trying many nail places in the area, this is easily my favorite. It is very clean, and the don't grind down my nails. Grinding nails is all fine and dandy if you only ever do gel, but I like to use regular polish too and take breaks frim gel. If theyve been ground, then your nail is very weak. Tonight I got a pedicure and the man that was doing my pedicure was not paying attention and Burt me several with the water also taking my gel off with with the drill and I kept telling him he was hurting me then it got a lot worse then he cut open my heal of my foot. The Tec was using the brick you use to remove dead skin with no water or any thing I was saying your hurting me and by that time he paid attention my side of my heal was missing chunk of skin. I had them call th...e owner right away he was very nasty to me that I walked out called the cops paid for my service which I should not been charged for. It gets better his license is expired in October of 2017 so he should not even be doing clients I will be filing a complaint with the city and state and going to the dr in the am. I been there before we had a great service and figured I would return and get the same treatment as the first time being there. But if any one else has experience the same kinda of treatment please make sure you report to the state department also the better business and I will be following up after my dr apt in the am since they where closed to night when I got done. I absolutely love my experiences here, they always make sure I have everything I need and are very attentive :) I get a dip done and I don't have to worry about my nails for a good month or more and my hands are in water daily! I wanted to wait until I had a few visits to make an honest review. I had my nails done twice pink and white SNS. A previous nail salon had them looking flawless when SNS was new on the market. My nails here didn’t look great at all. 2nd visit I told them the issue I had on my first visit and was told “no problem.” But they looked worse this time and were lifting the next morning. Not to mention I was left waiting for over 60 minutes total while my tech helped others. So no... more nails for me. I went for a pedicure and it was the best pedicure I ever had (for $43 + tip I would hope so!) So of course i went back 3 weeks later and had a very lame pedicure. There was no massage, only dragging his fingers over my toes before painting and applying lotion and scrub. 3rd attempt was worse and my heel of one foot was painful the next morning. Paint looks awful and goopy. The pedicure room was filled with (employees I assume) sitting in the chairs getting massages and talking so loudly that I could not relax or watch the movie. Visited yesterday for a pedi and mani . The worst quality, attitude and what’s with acting like u do not comprehend what a customer is requesting? They leave the cuticles chewed and glop the polish on (Thank you...it’s already chipped in 15 hours). There is no thank you and the vibe is so unfriendly . Actually you feel their disdain for the fact u are even there and they are simply rude and give poor service and quality. I went today to have a fill done which I been going here for months but recently everything has changed I waited 3 hours just to have a pink & white fill and when I showed up just when they opened and I didnt get finished until 2:00pm . The lady started on my nails for about 10 minutes and then went and worked on somebody else which wasn't right whike I waited there to have mine done. The staff was rude including the manager the lady cut my fingers twice. I do not recommend this place to anyone there are plenty of places I can go in Apopka yo get better service for the price I pay for my nails and the respect a customer deserves..I definitely will not return they need to learn respect and good customer service. Evan did an amazing job on my nails. I told him to surprise me with anything, and his creative mind went with black and blue ombré! Extremely creative! I absolutely love the ombré. My favorite nail salon! So in love with the dip powder nails, they last forever and look fantastic. I get compliments on my nails all of the time and you can easily go 3-4 weeks without getting them redone. I've even gone 5 weeks when I was too busy to get them done and my nails were still as strong and looked just as good at 5 weeks, they had just grown out a lot at that point. Luxe Nail Bar of Rockford is by far the best nail salon in the area. The owners are genuine, loyal, kind hearted and dedicated to their customers. All of the technicians are so friendly and great at what they do. I have been going to LeAnn for 6 years. LeAnn would give you the shirt off her back. She has become a good friend to me and treats my family as her own. I always receive excellent service when I am in the salon and really enjoy the cliental while I am having my services done. I have read a couple of the negative reviews. Yes, you may have a hard time getting in to Luxe if you do not make an appointment. But, that is because they are THAT GOOD, that people book their appointments well in advance to be sure they receive only the best service in Rockford from a well maintained facility. I know if I do not make my appointments in advance, I will be out of luck. If you want to receive an excellent manicure and great care, its well worth getting your name in that appointment book. Called to Book an Appointment. Person who answered the phone was rude. I'll explain- I asked if they had any appointments today- she said they were booked. Ok, totally fine-so I said how about tomorrow- Sorry booked. How about Monday - Booked. I realized that she was just going to keep saying booked , so I asked when is the next available appointment? 2 1/2 weeks. Wow- really? I said. She shortly said "Yep" I then could tell that either they were either the best nail salon in the Midwest or short staffed. If they don't have 30min in 2 1/2 weeks to do a fill. She was about to just hang up and I said well book me an appointment for the soonest day you guys have. She then said shortly "what do you need done?" How was she even looking for appointment openings if she didn't even know what I was needing?? I went to another salon- they squeezed me in on a Saturday. I gave them a nice tip, my nails are gorgeous and they will receive my business. I spend over $800 a year on my nails not including pedicures and I also tell people and spread the word. This salon is beyond adorable and the employees are so friendly! I have never found a nail salon that treats the customers with so much respect and truly care about what the customer thinks. Unfortunately since I moved out of Rockford to Tennessee, I am unable to get my nails done from them. But when I'm back in the area to visit, the first thing I want to do is get my nails done here! This was my first experience going to Luxe Nail Bar and without a doubt they deserve a 5 star rating. It feels high end, relaxing, clean and private. I love that it's by appointment only, and I'm nearly two weeks in with my no chip manicure and they look GREAT! No chips, my nails feel strong and still look wonderful despite the abuse ive put them through painting my house this past week. If you want a nail salon you can regularly go to and know you're getting excellent service for a very reasonable price! I will be a loyal customer from now on! Read Less

I gave them three stars because they did a good job on my nails. But the missing stars are for the experience. This was my first time in to Luxe. To start- it was a little awkward with no music playing. Nail tech didn't speak to me much, which doesn't normally bother me, but it IS very obvious who their regulars are and it seems they don't care to retain new clients with the same level of attention and customer service. I heard the person next to me being told 'first clients are receive a certain percentage off of their first service,' but did not receive the same discount when I checked out. While I'm not concerned about the money, I am disappointed in the inconsistency. I'll try somewhere else next time. Read Less

I am new to Rockford and have been searching for a great nail salon. I was a bit skeptical of the location of this salon (a non-descript older strip center) HOWEVER, upon walking in,  I was totally blown away by this adorable nail salon!  I had to set an appointment (45 minutes later) due to how busy they were- so I went next door to shop while I waited.Upon my return I was greeted immediately and seated at the open station at the "Bar"   The decor is very sleek and minimalistic. It is decorated in a chic feminine theme. The customers sit around a semi circle "bar" in wonderfully comfortable "office" chairs - all with great memory foam cushions in a cute patterned fabric. All of the "stations" are clutter free and impeccably clean. The manicurists use minimal tools at a time- keeping the area around you nice and clean. I was impressed that the cuticle clippers and cuticle tools were sealed in a brand new package that she had to tear open. This implied to me that the tools that they use have been sanitized completely between customers. There are hip little ring holders by each chair for your jewelry. There are handbag hooks under each station for your bags.  The waiting area is decorated in the same cute style- keeping with the rest of the black/white/gray decor.  The pedicure area is in the back- i did not have time for a pedicure today so I don't have any information on it- but from the look of the business at noon on Thursday- I am sure it is just as wonderful. The manicurists are not constantly talking to each other like I have experienced in most nail salons. They are very polite and professional and all were dressed in the latest fashions. The polish selections were the largest and most organized that I have ever seen. All of the "chip free" colors were shown on consistent color sample rings that all matched. So many salons have several different "hodge podge" sample rings that just look messy and cluttered.  They had every color imaginable!The manicure itself was wonderful - it looks better than any others that I have had. The manicure was ended with a hand massage and a wonderful hot towel soak. The check out was all done on an iPad and my receipt was emailed to me immediately via SQUARE.  The best part is- the manicure was only $25 for a no-chip manicure plus hand massage!  I have definitely found MY NAIL SALON!  Thanks LUXE' Nail Bar- I will see you next week, and the next, and the next.... I walked in for a basic spa pedicure while my car was getting serviced and had a great experience! The pedicure turned out perfectly, no complaints. No scary pain moments, very pleasant environment, they give you the little foam slippers of course. The lady who worked on me was very friendly and easy to talk to, and, this was only after I started talking to her first (otherwise the place was pretty silent); I know that's a thing for some people. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five was slightly weird greeting when I walked in, but the girl in front seemed very busy so this is understandable! It's really closer to five stars!
