After many failed attempts at other hair salons, Ali managed to cut my hair exactly how I was wanting it to be. I love this place. I have always felt welcome when I come in to buy product, gift certificates or to have my hair cut. I love that they go all out to be a part of downtown and all of the different things going on. Leah gets the glorious duty of cutting my hair after I skip out on keeping my ends trimmed and my hair gets a little crazy. She is absolutely fabulous! I would recommend her every time....any day. I’ve been going to Katie since October and every experience has been great. I came in with two toned orange/pink hair & now am platinumish blonde. Katie goes over how much the different options will cost and makes sure I’m okay with it before she proceeds. I appreciate this because no one wants to be blown away at the end of your appointment! If something isn’t looking up to her expectations she will do whatever it takes to get it there. I love the warm compress on my back while getting my hair washed, just a nice extra touch. This is a little more than I usually spend on my hair but this is also the best blonde I’ve ever had. The entire staff is very friendly & welcoming. Everyone at Lucette is extremely personable, courteous, and talented. I've had both Ali and Leah cut my hair and they both did phenomenal work. The work atmosphere facilitates a sense of community and collaboration. Lucette wants all guests to have a great experience and they are so flexible with scheduling. The staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is amazing. But I cried when I got home and looked at my hair. It was cut shorter than I would have liked, there was no movement to it, and whatever products were used made it feel and look stiff to the point it almost stayed in a pony when I took it down. I have not gotten a chance to do my hair at the salon yet and this is my experience with scheduling which I have never experienced before at any salon. I was scheduled for a color, cut and accent highlights and I missed my appointment by an hour. It was my own fault as I simply mixed the times, with 2 kids and the holidays right around the corner. I asked the office to accomodate me and still take me in for an appointment which they refused and said they will not have enough time. At first I rescheduled an appointment for January, but then I called back asking how long does the haircut take. The salon said haircut takes an hour. I asked if we skip the haircut and just do the color since I was an hour late. And the office still refused to take me in! This does not make any sense. Why couldn't the salon do my color if I was skipping the haircut. They simply said they didn't have enough time and I was squeezed into the schedule, which I was never told I was squeezed into the schedule, I made an appointment a month ago. Overall, very upsetting experience right before the holidays.Update: Megan, the hairdresser called, and scheduled me for next week so that i can have my hair ready for holidays which was very nice of her. Seriously, is there a way to give more stars?! After the treatment I received from Lucette, I had to write a review. I had a hair wash/blow-dry/style appointment and I guess it takes a little more than a hour to finish all that. I was 25 MINS LATE for my appointment and I only had 25 MORE MINS to get back to my event. Katie, my wonder woman for the day, was extremely fast and efficient! She not only gave the exact look I wanted but she did it within 25 mins with no compromise in the quality of the treatment. Wash done. Blow-dry done. Styling done. In 25 mins. I came in this morning for a blow dry/blow out for my wedding tomorrow and the staff made me feel so welcomed and comfortable! The atmosphere and is warm and industrial chic. Everything is clean and organized and everyone is smiling! I will for sure be returning to Lucette, their products are amazing (I mean they are Aveda ). Came here last night to get my color corrected and I was blown away with how amazing the staff and service was. Leah was my stylist and she was seriously AMAZING! ( Have been getting compliments on my hair all day) I will only be going to her moving forward. I also got a complimentary head massage with scented oils and a hand massage! I didn't want to leave. Let me just say that I have been going to Leah monthly for the past 5 months or so for a monthly facial. I cannot say enough good things about this place! Everyone is so welcoming and down to earth, and let me tell you, my face feels and looks like a newborn baby's butt (it's a good thing) every time I'm there. Do yourself a favor and just go experience a facial. You will leave all sorts of blissed out, I swear Leah can channel what mod you are in and choose just the right oils for the experience. I was there on 6 May, 2017, and it was an amazing experience. I was treated like royalty and was worth the money I paid for. I knew about the place because I am Facebook friends with one of girls (Sabrena) and she kept insisting me that I'll be well taken care of, unfortunately she wasn't able to do to health issues; and she was absolutely right. I was well taken care off. Nichole who did my mani/pedi--she has hands crafted by God himself. I almost fell asleep, if it wasn't for talking to her about random topics. Megan was also amazing and a very upbeat attitude. You bet your ass I'm coming back! The ambience was relaxing, music was a bit off according to the ambience, except when they played Chvrches, which I truly love that band--very clean business, and I highly recommend that you come here for the friendly connections (they truly get to know you) and the relaxing environment. My first time to Lucette. Needed to find a stylist who could take me from grey roots, brownish overall to blended grey roots with ashy highlights. Sabrena was so nice. The whole staff is professional, dedicated and very friendly. Relaxing atmosphere downtown. Complimentary services with each visit are nice. My cut didn't match the picture I showed, it's way too short, but it's hair, it'll grow. So while I was unhappy at the final result of the cut & style, the color is GREAT. Love it. Once it's cut too short, nothing can be done.So better to just smile ,pay and move on. I thought Sabrena was great, just didn't get the result I hoped for. Had an awesome haircut and color from Megan. . It is well worth the $15 consultation fee (which is deducted if you have work done). I felt like I was listened to, given plenty of time to show pictures, talk about what I wanted, color, etc.   I loved, loved, loved the complimentary choices given at check-in. I chose a scalp massage and hand massage during the appointment.  I've been given several compliments on both my color and cut. I went into Lucette last week and it is beautiful! My regular girl was booked and I needed some last minute color, so I booked a last minute apt with Ali. All of the girls there are so sweet, and Ali did a fabulous job! I absolutely love my hair, and have been getting a lot of compliments. Megan has given me the best short hair cut I've ever had! I have gone to her twice now and I won't go any where else. I loved her so much I sent my husband to her and he couldn't believe how well she cut his hair! She has a great eye for style and is very easy to talk to.
