I've tried several places in the Quad Cities and couldn't find one I liked. A couple different friends recommended here, so I tried it. First, I was happy to find they were open on a Sunday, as a lot of places aren't. I believe this is a new development because their door still says closed on Sunday but the sign in the window says otherwise. Second, doing a pedicure on me can't be fun. I walk barefoot a lot and in flip flops the rest of the time, so my feet are extremely calloused. Plus I'm ridiculously ticklish, so it's got to be a challenge. But my tech handled it well and now my feet are smooth and silky,  and my toes are cute. The pedicure was thorough but gentle. The lotion used on legs and feet smells better than many salons. The massage chairs aren't the most luxurious but I've definitely experienced worse. The TV was on QVC the whole time which is weird but not worth dinging them on the review. My tech was friendly but not overly chatty, which is exactly the way I like it. The pedicure was only $23, so even with a good tip it's under $30. Read Less

By far the best little gem in Rock Island. We came in at 6:30 as they close at 7. They didn't mind at all and went over and beyond to spoil my daughter and myself. Will be coming back- every month!!! Horrendous service. I paid for a mani-pedi with gel. Waited for people who got there 45 minuets after me to get there services done before I was even started on. 4 nails chipped the same night doing nothing out of the ordinary. Will never return! Read Less

Had one of the worst pedicures I have ever had. I was expecting some callouses to be removed and a nice rub. Neither of the two took place. While removing previous polish she bent my toe nail back because she was scrubbing so hard. To top it off the paint job looked like a 5 year old did it. I love getting pampered once in awhile with a manicure and pedicure. Their manicures are excellent, but their pedicures are HEAVEN! You get a thorough leg and foot massage.  I have been going to this nail salon for many years. In the past few years, I developed a problem with my big toes on each foot and the nails  came off. They never did grow back properly; just a little bit of nail bed remains and even that is mis-shaped. Lovely Nails didn't shy away from helping me, and were able to put  acrylic toenails on my feet that last for a month to two at a time and look like my real toenails. I went to another nail salon  when out of town and they wouldn't touch it! Prices are extremely reasonable.  I expect to continue to use Lovely Nails for many years to come. I was there the first time and I have to say it sucked!!! The manager is unfriendly and I was VERY unhappy with the work. I went there to get my nails done and 1 day later the stuff chipped off my nails.She also hurt me with the drill (drill was hot and It burned me.) I went back there to get it fixed or refunded and the manager told me that she is not going to fix or refund it. So, I do NOT recommend this place.
