Highly disappointed, called ahead of time to ask if they offered a student discount. Was assured they offer student discount. Was told there would be no wait and to come right in. So I did. Went in and was told that because I was a student at Midwest Technical Institute, the student discount didn’t apply to me the woman (who I assume was the owner or manger at the very least) explained that because I had powder dip on my nails it would cost me at minimum 10 dollars to remove the powder dip just to do a plain Jane gel manicure, no acrylics, My natural nail. On top of the 30 dollar Gel manicure with NO student discount I was originally told was eligible for. So glad I called ahead of time 🙄 I felt judged initially because I wasn’t a Bradley student & then I felt judged because she told me that the Dip powder was cheap and she only buys expensive products that’s why it would cost so much to help me (still without the original promised discount) I really don’t mind paying good money for my nails, they are sometimes the first thing people see but honestly this woman made me feel so out of place from the very first question and the way she looked at me. I’m not a “messy” person. I just chose a different school. So therefore I will not be returning and I hope y’all keep this in mind when choosing this salon. Good luck! Read Less

Three of us went for pedicures because I had a gift certificate. We made appointments and were seated in the chairs. The other two that were with me were started and mine started about 8 minutes later. I was very disappointed in how rushed my pedicure was. I was finished a good 5 minutes before my friends. The staff stood and said you done. No offer of disposable flip flops, my friends were offered but not me. They have upgraded the facility and new chairs. I was really looking forward to a pedicure since I have not been able to get one for over a year due to medical issues. I will look elsewhere for my next one. Read Less

Was not happy with this place. Went in for mani pedi and she soaked my feet tue whole time while getting mani so water was cold by the time pedi came due. No massage of hands/arms when pedi time wasn't really paying attention massaged my legs mostly even after I told her more on foot. Walked in at 2 pm, asked if they had any room for a pedicure. The lady at reception said it right now but if you come back at 2:30 we could fit you in. I said actually that could work as I have time. I got a call at 2:20 saying it would actually not work until 2:45 now. No problem *again* can wait another 15 minutes. Show up at 2:45 and they let me sit for 10 minutes and say you know what we actually can't get you in today. So I waited for an hour for them to do nothing. And send me home. Read Less

I love this nail salon! They are always very polite, attentive and do an outstanding job whether you're getting a pedicure or manicure. I've been here 4 times and will continue to come back. The quality of work is far superior to other locations in the area. My pedicure lasted for a full month without chipping or peeling and I'm a runner so that's impressive in my opinion. Isa did a Shellac manicure for me.. It's so good! Nice thin application, no bubbles, and the polish goes all the way to the cuticle so it doesn't look grown out immediately. She did a great job cleaning up my cuticles with the nipper. In addition to the normal hand and arm massage, they also do a neck and shoulder massage which was so nice! The music was just instrumental, and pleasant. The decor is not high-end, but it's clean, and for $30 and this result, I'll definitely be back. Read Less

Terrible nail set. One of my nails were crooked. Another nail chipped where the overlay of the acrylic and my nails meet. The ping job was awful- I got white- and she missed corners of the nail. The length of the nails were all uneven and different shapes. Absolute terrible job. I won't be going back to get an acrylic maybe they do just do well on your NATURAL NAILS. Read Less

I have been here several times with my mom, but I don't love it. First, they do not have a very large selection of colors. Why even be in the nail business if you don't offer tons of choices? Then, they don't have magazines. All the salons I've been to in other cities provide a huge selection of magazines. I also find the techs to be rough. I prefer gentle pampering, not experiencing pain. Finally, even if you make an appointment, you have to wait. So, my advice to them is don't even offer appointments if you don't honor them. Natural Nails is a great place to go to get a manicure and pedicure.The owners and staff are very friendly, and it's a very clean place. If you are a regular customer, you will get a plastic box with your name and your own tools that they use on you.  If you ever have a problem, they will do their best to correct it. I have been going to this salon for over a year now and I still don't have a regular technician because I'm comfortable with them all. They are very good at listening to your personal needs/wants. I like to do creative things with my nails and they are willing to look at my pictures and imitate the design nicely. Weather you get a mani or pedi you get a nice massage and they are always improving on the beautiful salon. Went there and got a no chip manicure. So far my manicure is fine. My color doesn't match the nail sample but it's doable. My boyfriend got a mani pedi. They did the mani while he was sitting in the pedi chair. I paid while he was finishing up, I should have waited. In the car I noticed his cuticles looked like crap. Like they did nothing at all! He doesn't like to complain so we didn't go back in. And I understand and respect their race but it's rude to flat out ignore your customer and just point to what you want from them while you speak to your co workers and laugh in a language they don't understand. I had a mani/pedi at Natural Nails this past week and was disappointed with the service.  The actual paint job they did was fine (that's why I gave 2 stars instead of 1), but I was expecting more of a focus on exfoliation of the skin especially my feet.  In addition, I felt rushed and like they were rusing.  Finally, the technician doing my pedicure made a phone call while working on my feet. I also saw another technician doing this as well.  I know that things come up, but excuse yourself and go to the breakroom and make a call if necessary.  I thought this was extremely unprofessional.  My personal choice for a mani/pedi in Peoria is Skin Dimensions/Soderstrom.  The technicians there do a wonderful job and the atmosphere is so nice and relaxing.
