I was in a hurry and the walk in wait at my regular place was astronomical.I went with the intention of getting my girlfriends nails done and getting my nails cut down. I also had broken one nail completely off and needed it fixed.I felt like she just wanted paint and I had a simple cut done and replacement nail. I thought they could handle it. The staff pushed and pushed for me to get gel nail polish even though I was paying for both my girlfriend and myself already. I am very particular about my nails anyway, but I feel she didn't even attempt to make the new nail look like the others. The acrylic replacement nail was lumpy and the polish application was sloppy and uneven. She knew I wasn't happy with the nail. She insisted that the gel needed to set and it would look better. Would give no stars if I could.... got a full set of nails here for Mother's Day and it wasn't even 12 hrs before the first one came off now I have had them 3 days and 4 are already missing.... when I called the salon they said they would fix them free of charge I just wanted a refund to get a set that is going to stay on... Will not return. The hours and staff are nice but the salon's physical space and quality of work are not. I had a sore, red spot on my toe for almost a week. Was worried about an infection but I think it was a cut that was irritated by the products used. Not sure how this place stays so busy. Prices are average - $46 for a basic mani/pedi. Overall a good place to go. I got acrylic nails with gel polish and my mom got a gel manicure. When I got there it was very busy but my mom was in a chair in under 5 minutes and I got in a chair in less than 15 minutes. The staff was friendly and straightforward. Ugh, I HATE this place! I had the worse experience ever!There was a sign that said "we prefer tips in cash." I told the guy that did my nails, I only had card and no cash. He said "NO Card for tip." I told him what his sign said and it was contradicting what he was saying. He eventually said he didn't care so I paid in advance but he didn't add the tip on. Oh well!I wanted a simple polish change. I told the man that he was not getting all my nails. He said he knew that and would get it. After the first coat he went back over as usual... But kept going over it. Then I noticed he nicked my nail. Instead of taking all the polish off, he went over it. I started to complain and he just got angrier which angered me more. The biggest plus to this place is that they are open regular mall hours - lots of other nail salons close at 7 PM, and that is just too early for many folks to get in on a weeknight. Also, they didn't charge to remove my gel polish before re-applying it, so that's a plus. However, the place is pretty run down. Their supplies are very messy, the paint is peeling, and it overall just has a dingy feel to it. Their work (french gel manicure) was okay, but not excellent - I'd give it a 6 out of 10 on quality of work. I will only revisit here if I need to get on a week night, otherwise I prefer somewhere a little better kept - especially for pedicures. Read Less
