Best manis and pedis I've ever received.  You will rarely get in as a walk in-  but it's worth planning ahead and making an appointment. All of them are do great work. Also, they sanitize equipment and are meticulous about cleanliness.  I used to be worried about nail fungus at other places (after a friend who lives in a different state told me she got a toenail fungus from her nail salon) ...but I never worry here!  I won't go anywhere else.  They do gel pedicures too which are perfect in winter-  put your boots back on right after your pedi!! I made an appointment with Angel a week ahead of time as she takes pride in her work and my previous experiences with her were pleasant. The day before my appointment I called to adjust my appointment as there was construction that would potentially cause me to be late. I arrived and advised I had an appointment with Angel to be advised by Angel that could not be as she has a standing appointment. She checked the books and said my appointment was with Mary. She calls her dad who made the appointment and he to says I made the appointment with Mary. The only person I knew by name is Angel and she was the only one I wanted to service me. NO one apologized, they continued to force Mary on me. Dad offered to have me come the next day (after scheduling well in advance to get the services I wanted by the person I was comfortable with). Went for the first time yesterday for a gel manicure and pedicure. It was VERY CLEAN!! We had appointments so we got right in. Polish had to be removed so they started both as I was sitting in the pedi chair which saved a lot of time. My feet were on the last stage of drying and then she started on my nails which also saved time. The same person did all my services which is great. Other salons we have been to switch you to other people. The only negative thing was I would wish I was moved to a nail station to finish them. Came in for a pedicure... specifically asked how long the wait would be and if I could get in and out. They put me in spa chair right away with the water- then sat there while they are taking other people in after. Half hour later, never got to my pedicure and had to leave before even getting acknowledged again! Water was cold by the time I decided to leave. Awful customer service and lack of honesty!! My first visit here yesterday. Overall, it was great. I got the Deluxe pedicure which included a sugar scrub and mask on my legs and feet followed by a wrap with hot towels. Love this place! They take appointment only so it's never too crowded. They really take their time with each customer no matter what you are getting done. Everyone there is super friendly too! My Mom and I at were at Aqua Nails today for our first visit ever. The customer service was GREAT. I made appointments a week or so ago. Today we showed up for our appointments, and did not have to wait. That is wonderful compared to so many of the other salons in the area that take too many walk ins to even honor their client's that made appointments. I would not go anywhere else! Angel an sherry are both awesome! Very friendly and do great, quality work! I have tried many other places in Peoria and I will only go here now. I would recommend making an appointment because they do not rush their services. A pedicure usually takes 45 min to an hour, and they do not rush it, even if people are waiting. I recently booked a bridal party here on a Thursday evening.  They were EXTREMELY accommodating and helpful!  I had called ahead to see if it was ok for me to bring in some wine - they said yes, I could bring anything I wanted.  When I showed up a few hours later they even had a couple folding tables set up for me to put at the drinks and snacks!!  Everyone's nails looked great, too! I'm still shocked from how rude the staff were. I walked in - no appointment - so I expected to wait. There were 4 customers in the salon for three technicians. I waited 2 minutes for anyone to even acknowledge my presence - although the staff was less than 5 feet away from me - and politely asked if the salon had time for a gel manicure. The response was "no time now and no time today." When I stated I would wait, I got a firmer "no" and a gesture towards the door. I wouldn't recommend for my dog's manicure. Went to get a gel manicure for Mother's Day. This place was wonderful! The owners were so sweet and personable.  They use bonding on the nail prior to the base coat to prevent peeling and to help the manicure last longer.  They use acetone and foil to remove the old gel and keep your nails strong instead of using the drill.  My manicure even came with a quick neck and shoulder massage. She did a great job on my no-chip manicure and made sure I liked the color and the nails before finishing and paying.Her husband was there as well, super nice and friendly!
