Modern nails is very welcomining and women are lovely cannot fault in any way at all efficient and thorough and modern nails is nothing like the previous reviewer posted I had the misfortune to be in the salon when this woman was there calls her self a perfectionist more like stuck up thinks she above down to earth people she says she felt uncomfortable well her attitude made all in the salon uncomfortable and the only conveyer belt we wud of liked her to b on was one to of taken her straight out of salon so we did not have to listen to her snobbery mouth I would not like to b her client and if she such a perfectionist she shud of priced up what she was having done before she sat down this woman is pernicious and needs get off her soap box get down to earth and get a life !!!!! Sorry to have to write a bad review but I work in the Beauty industry myself and being a perfectionist is the upmost important thing for me. I've just returned from having my nails done and very disappointed to say the least. I booked in for an infill as where I usually go I was unable of get in and a few of my clients had recommended this place. Infills on the board is priced at £16 and £25 for a full set. I did have 5 nails already missing so I knew there maybe an addition... fee plus I have gel Polish on top. I was charged £27!! Yet a full set is only £25?! How is that possible?? I did challenge this but the lady speaks very broken English and I couldn't understand a word she was saying plus there was a shop full of people listening so I felt really uncomfortably and just paid and left! In addition to this the lady was very aggressive with filing my nails...so much so it lifted my own nail bed and I screamed out in pain!!! They then cut my own nails too short and I told her they were too short about 5 times for her to tell me that they weren't. Which they are!!! Way too short!!! I changed seats about 4 times to be passed like a parcel throughout each process. Felt like a conveyabelt!! Customer service and attention to detail definitely needs some attention. People are meant to feel like they are being pampered not rushed through like a shopping queue! Feel completely disappointed and ripped off! I've been coming here for a few years now and I've always come out of the Salon really pleased..I can usually get in the same day but if not I can get in the next day...Very reasonable prices also...The staff are really lovely and very helpful...Linh does call me Sharon instead of Julie sometimes but it's standard joke now...5 Stars, Excellent :) Read Less
