By far the worst pedicure I've ever had in my entire life. They did not do a thorough job, nor did they spend enough time working on my feet. I complained about how dry and cracked my feet were afterward, and I was pretty much blamed and told me they couldn't do anything about it. I know that I have bad feet, but every other place I have gone to have done amazing jobs. The only reason that I went here was because I needed to go early before other salons opened, but I will never be going back again & I will tell others never to go here either. The girl was sweet and polite doing my pedicure.I brought my own pedicure set in.  I am goofy about germs.Anyhow, I am pretty sure a pedicure is not supposed to cause pain.  My big toe hurts after this pedicure.  I have been putting antibiotic on it.Yes, I was due for a pedicure.  However, the person doing the pedicure,  nipped and nipped at my big toe cuticle.   I thought it was going to start bleeding.  In addition, I still have calluses.  She barely, worked on them.  The nail polish does look nice.  I saw a sign saying,  "free paraffin wax for the feet."  For the heels.   I did not have that done and it was not offered to me.  .  It did feel very rushed through and not a thorough job.  I will not return. DO NOT I repeat DO NOT go to this salon!!  I got a No Chip yesterday.  Today, not even 24 hours later it started chipping and peeling.  I called them to complain about it and because I live in the city not in Park Ridge I can not easily come back to get my nails fixed especially cause I don't have a car.  They did NOTHING not even apologize.  I asked for some kind of refund because I now had to go somewhere else and get my nails fixed.  Do yourself a favor and stay way from this place.  Awful customer service and your manicure will not last! This has been the worst experience ever. First come in for a mani-pedi and they rushed through the service. Thought since I was in the area give this place a try. BIG MISTAKE. The nail attendants messed up mines and my mother's nails and took a huge chunk out of my mom's eyebrows. All the workers thought that this was very fun and never apologized. The owner got an attitude and didn't want to correct any of the mistakes. I hate that I had yo give one star in order to give this review. Customer service is horrible and very rude. There are a lot of nail shops in Park ridge but Pink Nail is best ever. This nail shop is really clean and cozy place to make me re-visit every time. All of staffs are kind to every customers and make me relax with sincere attitude. They try to do their job for best quality so no-chip lasts over 3 weeks. My biggest issue with this place is they always rush me!  I understand weekends when they are busy but I have had appointments during the week after work at 6pm and they are still rushing so they can close and go home.  If I am an imposition to you, don't take my appointment!  There are plenty of other places in Park Ridge, you just happen to be the closest to me.  I would only go to this place as a last resort. This is truly NOT a place to go to if you want a good no-chip. Every time I've had one done here, it chipped within 48 hours. This place is great for a fast manicure or pedicure. Don't expect a great job. But, if you want a decent job because you can't get in anywhere else and you're on a time crunch, this is the place for you. The girls are ever changing lately. I would NEVER hesitate to recommend this salon.  The manis/pedis are beautiful and I look and feel good.  The massages are out-of-this-world - sooooo relaxing!I have been coming here for several years and the owners and the girls are the best!  I am seen them treat every patron with respect, warmth and friendliness.I think the time schedule issue is one that is not fairly accurate.  I have had to wait a few minutes at times, but since I always allow myself extra "ME" time, I am not concerned.  I have seen patrons who run behind schedule, show up late for their appointment, and then expect everyone else to wait until they are done.  That's not how courtesy and respect for others is handled.Kudos to a wonderful business!knk Read Less

I will no longer be a customer of this nail salon. I went in just an hour ago and cannot begin to describe how terrible my manicure looks. Many of the girls there are great, but there is one middle-aged woman that needs a refresher course. I have had this lady before and she consistently does a bad job. Several of my nails are crooked and shaped very poorly after specifically asking her to make them round, not square. I was at the drier for over 10 minutes and got up to leave. No thank you or anything just "Nails no dry! Nails no dry!" and I continued on my way. Avoid this place. There are plenty of others in the area that will do a much better job. Read Less

I would like to reiterate Marissa L.'s review.  I really don't understand the negative reviews.  I have been going to Pink Nail for almost six years, and it is my favorite nail salon for as long as I can remember, and I have tried MANY nail salons in both the suburbs and city, ranging from $25-$75 for a mani/pedi combo. The women who work there are so sweet and accommodating and do a great job. I live in Park Ridge and love the intimate neighborhood feel.  They do get busy on Friday afternoons and Saturdays so I would recommend going during the week or on Sunday if you don't have the patience to wait. Even though I saw the negative reviews, I decided to give this place a chance due to the proximity to my new home. I'm really glad I did. It makes me sad and also perplexed that this place has bad reviews. These ladies were so sweet and accommodating and really did a great job on my manicure. It actually makes me suspicious that some are actually fake reviews from a competitor. She took her time, was very careful with every step, gave me really nice thin coats of polish and a really nice hand massage. They were also very considerate. The one time they had to converse quickly while I was in the chair, they spoke quietly in consideration of me and apologized for the interruption after the brief exchange. I also noticed how they treated incoming customers and it was always with a smile and making sure they felt they were being taken care of.I also opted for the 10-minute chair massage while my nails dried and it was surprisingly good. So, in all, I found these women to be deserving of a positive review and I will definitely be returning. I've had everything from $15-$60 manicures and I would rate this at the top of the $15 manicure places. I'm sad - I wanted to like this place.  I bought a groupon for 2 mani/pedis. I paid $35 so it was a great deal. They didn't do a poor job because it was a groupon, I waited til the end to redeem it. I also tipped (generously) BEFORE services were rendered in hopes of a good job.  My first time there - I did not make an appointment but I popped my head in and they said a mani/pedi would be no problem.  They were about an hour from close and I figured it was a no go but they took me.  They should never have taken me if they couldn't commit the time or service.  I was put  in a pedicure chair right away but had to wait about 25 minutes.  I ended up taking my feet out of the water on my own because it went cold. They didn't scrub my feet hard enough to get the dead stuff off my heels & the water was freezing cold so I was not very happy.  I asked to warm the water but it wasn't much better.  Halfway through my pedicure they started on my nails - basically just a quick file and paint.  This was while I was in the pedicure chair - no cuticle soak, nothing. I was unimpressed.  My second visit was a tad better than the first (service) but left my nails damaged.  I made an appointment this time but still had to wait a long time while walk-ins were taken ahead of me (?).  My pedicure was even lighter to the touch than last time but the water was passable.  My manicure is what really angered me.  I watched the guy put something wonky-looking on my nails and I asked what it was.  He told me it was "nail hardener."  I thought that was a good thing....  My nails took a long time to grow that junk out.  For weeks after my manicure my nails flaked and were yellowed.  Thankfully, it's all grew out but I was worried that it was one of those fungal horror stories at first.I think I'm done with Pink's... My mother and I went in here, had made an appointment, and were told to come back two hours later. When we explained that we made the appointment a week ago, they said they could no longer take care of us (probably because they got about a dozen teenage girls moments before we walked in).When we explained that we could not come two hours later, and that we had made an appointment by phone (AS WELL AS CALLED AN HOUR EARLY TO MAKE SURE OUR APPOINTMENT WAS OKAY), the girl looked at us and shrugged.
