Designs Nails has always been my go to, and I always regret going elsewhere when I can't make it out to the burbs.  I haven't had a bad time with any tech, but Tommy is by far my #1.  He takes his time and makes sure your nails are perfect before you walk out.  My set today was just another solid reminder of why I cannot go anywhere else. I am appalled at how the owners' daughter is publicly degrading ex co-workers and customers who had an unpleasant experience. Saying things like, "We don't need your business", and, "Learn to speak English", is not only unprofessional, but extremely embarrassing on behalf of your parents. Considering your client-base is the number one source of repeat and referral business, you should be focusing more of your time on refining your non-existent customer relations and people skills rather than giving your own parents' salon a 5-star review in hopes to boost their deserved sub-par rating, Needless to say at this point, I will deter anyone I know from going to this salon. There are plenty of other reputable salons in the surrounding area that would go above and beyond for their customers, something that this salon never has and never will do. Read Less

hello the lady name Kate, below, first of all you said our place little English, did you check you comment, you spelled my name wrong, if you post your comment on google to try help us make our business better, i will take your advice and thank you for your help, and if you just post here because you're mad, or not happy,and to try to relieve your madness. please don't do that,you know everyday, every hour, every minute , all my employees and try to do the best we can do,to serve all clients walk-in the door, try to make them happy and we can be happy too, most of the time we dont even eat lunch on time to try make your nail look good with out waiting , but sometimes, we are too busy and make something that doesn't make you happy, all you'll have to do is just call us, or talk to the manager or anyone that did your nails, i believe ,they will be happy to help you or do something for you until you are satisfied, it's better than you just going to google and say something try to hurt people's feelings, and finally please do not use my name or my business to compare or advertise for your lover 's nail salon. Horrible place very little English Tee was the best in there now she is in Mundaline. Tomi from design he is horrible very slapy I was never happy with the service. They gave me a girl that sits in Tees table she has no idea what she is doing ! Went for mani she ruined my nails ! No idea how to file or paint nails Thank God they grew a little and i went to Nail Tech 9 Henry fixed my nails. Watch out for the girl that sits in Tees place if they sit you there RUN!! I did not care for my experience here.It smells like chemicals and the tools are reused and not sanitary. The polish she opened was gloppy and too thick, as if it had been on the shelf for 5 years. Sorry, Not coming back. Read Less

Overall very stressful. The whole time I was in the salon the manager continued to yelling. Telling associates to stop with the customer they had to help another customer. I orginally went in for a filling and a pedicure. After I got my nails filled in I didn't even want to get my feet done. I asked for a navy blue gel color and a simple line design on my two ring fingers. I showed him a picture and he said he would do it. I came here 4 times (one of those times were my initial fill in) in the last week because my gel nails kept breaking. Peter did my nails extremely thin. It was extremely inconvenient to keep returning only to be disappointed. The last time I walked in there they tried to blame me for my nails breaking. Like why would I break my own nails after spending $60 in your shop. Very unprofessional I have photos of my nails and the thickness he made them on my last visit. I will not be returning here!! I have been going to the salon for about 17 years in total (Mary has not owned it the entire time).  She is fantastic and quick, I always receive compliments.  Tee does my toes and again, never a complaint.The only thing that drives me nuts are some of the other clients.  I get a babysitter to escape from my kiddo and relax, kids run thru the salon and yell and it ruins the calming experience.  I don't blame the kids, I blame their parents.  Also, the mall itself that it is in is super run down, so although the service is great, I can understand where the environment would be a turn off for some. EXTREMELY UPSET.I spent over $100 with a lot of hassle and very few moment of peace.Because of word count limit I can't go into full detail.The gentleman who handled my cousin - ignored her bickering with his manage about his pay and how it will reflect on his paycheck while my cousin was still waiting for her service to be completed. The woman who did my service - i would've appreciated more than a 5 sec hand/arm massage if I was spending this much money. They charged my nieces as adults and did not do full servicesEven writing this i'm adding the prices together and they still overcharged me. total was supposed to be a little over a $100 and they charged me $130. Ridiculous. Completely appalled.I'm extremely disappointed. To salvage the relationship the manage Tommy gave me a $10 coupon. I'll go back to use that coupon but after that you best believe that I'll be taking my business elsewhere. Read Less

i got a no chip manicure done by Mary, she was so kind and really takes pride in her work.  I was a last minute walk in and she didn't rush or make me feel like i inconvenienced them,  she was happy to take me and took her time to ensure i walked out happy. Pros: They did a great job on my eyebrows and she really took her time. Cons: waxing area was messy and they double dip the sticks that go in the wax. They said they accept major credit cards but they don't accept Discover and that was super annoying. Read Less
