I've tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt. I've been here on 3 separate occasions. The first time, I asked for a design. I showed them a picture of what I wanted. They said it could be done. I guess I missed the unspoken part... (it could be done but just not by them) The finished project looked like my 7 year old nice had done it. The Lines were crooked, the color was no where close to the picture I showed.... The manager offered excuses and I accepted. giving them the benefit of the doubt.The second time I visit this establishment (2 weeks later) I was serviced by the man. sigh.... I'm really not difficult to please... Well.... needless to say my pedicure looked like my 13 year old nice did it.... The 3rd and final time I went here (2weeks after the previous visit) I was service by the youngest staff there. With hopeful expectations, I hoped my experience would be different and better....  you guessed it.... this was the worst experience yet... I have pictures to prove... My pedicure was not properly done neither was my manicure. She didn't take all of the old polish off before starting to put new polish on top of the old polish!!! When I quietly pointed this out to her, she got an attitude and started rough handling my hand and twisting them in ways that was impossible for them to bend in. I finally had enough and asked her was there a problem???!  The manager came over and something to her in their language (?) And she began showing me courtesy... Needless to say the finished project looked like my 14 year old nice did it... you can see the brush strokes...Done with this place!!! I will take my $84.00+ bi-weekly money else where!!! Read Less

I like this place only thing i dont like is that they wanna charge for the shap nail that u want? I mean i understand if u want it long they van charge u extra or for the cat eye but for the shape of ur nail i dont see why charge if ur charging me extra for a lot of things now.. 5 extra for long nails 5 extra for cateye 10 for nochip now u wanna charge me for the shape? I have been a customer for 7 years. I really like this nail salon. The place is always clean, the staff is always friendly and gives great service. I broke a nail and walked in yesterday and they fixed my nail for free. She said I am a long-time customer and not to worry about it. This shows me that they appreciate me as a customer. Read Less

I was here about 2 weeks ago. This was my first time here as I came with a friend after the place we were ment to go to was closed. When my friend and I arrived the place was busy as we were patiently waiting a lady walks in causing a big commotion about how her nails were messed up (by another place), because of this she got to skip the line and seen as soon as a tech was available. Which caused my wait to be longer. My friend was seated a good 10 min after me yet my nail tech took longer than my friends tech and she still had to rush to finish, needless to say she messed up 3 nails. One of them broke within 5 days, to top it off they didn't have the color I had chosen first and I had to pick another one. I will not recommend or return to this place as I value quality and good customer service which this place does not have. FYI they only accept tips in cash. Read Less

Went in to get a set of nails put on. I started out with one tech, who was terrible, she put the arcrylic so thick. The next fill, I had a man do it. He wasnt too bad, but I had to tell him to the ends and to sand under my nails. After going there for a month, he told me that I didn't have to come back every 2 weeks, do 3 weeks, well because of that, I have white ridges on my plain nail, Then he still keep putting the arcrylic on heavier and heavier. Then went back again, if after requesting my regular guy, they say he gone, but all his stuff is still there, so went to another tech and he wasn't too bad, but put on heavy again. Did a real bad polish job too. I took them off my self, cause the cracked and fractured, So now I am looking for another place, Know any good ones???? Read Less

I have been going here for many years to get my nails done.  Staff is very friendly and the salon is very clean and inviting. Multiple options for pedicures which seys them apart from other salons in the area. The two technicians that I would recommend are Mai (the owner) and Cyndi. Mai is definitely my favorite!  She takes her time ensuring you are happy with your nails and ALWAYS has an hysterical story to tell.  Do make sure to make an appointment because they can get quite busy. My gel overlay always lasts a minimum of 3 weeks,  but is not uncommon for it to last longer. Pricing is very reasonable, and the staff actually listens to your needs, unlike other salons in the area. Definitely have recommended this establishment to every one looking for a reputable nail salon in the Aurora/Montgomery area. Read Less

My daughter knows how picky I am and when we moved in the Aurora, Montgomery, Oswego area she found me Nail Designs Salon.  I've been coming here for over 6 months and have enjoyed every visit.  I usually get a basic manicure and the deluxe pedicure which prepares me for the long week ahead.  The staff is warm and inviting and if you want to chat they will share their story or if you want to relax; they do their job in silence to allow you to enjoy the warm water.  I have shares this salons great service with my friends. I had been going here for years. However, it slowly got worse and worse each time I went. This last time was the icing on the cake. Employees work in the back, outside, but with the doors open the smoke comes in and it's awful. The two people who were doing my moms feet and mine, were really bad. They didn't leave the polish nice and clean on our toes, they kept goofing off between one another and it was really unprofessional. They'd look over at one of our feet and would laugh. It was very annoying and uncomfortable. I'm not an idiot, I know when someone is talking about me. I called and complained, not because I wanted something free, but because I wanted her to know what she has there. The best nail technicians that were there no longer work there, so I have no reason to go back. The owner of the place is probably the worst one of all. Will never return. First, Google for some reason shows this place located next to Menards. Beware, it's actually about a mile north on the west side of 30 near Jewel. When I told them about it, they kind of just brushed it off. As a mom, I saddled up my toddler in the stroller and battled the pouring rain to get myself my first no - chip in over a year. When I got to the door, they were closed!!! I waited outside their door for 15 minutes, wondering why their door would say they open at 9 and yet nobody would come to turn the lights on until 9:15. I was the only customer in the store and yet waited another 10 minutes to be seated. My very fast no-chip manicure "chipped" the very following day, on 2 nails. I was so disappointed in my manicure experience, I will not return to this establishment. Read Less
