I get my dip nails done here once a month, and every time it's lovely! The staff are friendly (I don't need to be chatted to for an hour), the place is super clean, and they have a HUGE selection of colors. I usually make an appointment since not everyone can do the dip, but have had success walking in before. It's the best! Read Less

I lived in the NW burbs before and just moved to the area.   I knew I had to find a new nail salon, I have been getting gel nails for years and my nails were really weak. I started coming to Signature in July and have never looked back. I started doing the gel dip and absolutely love it. I get my nails done by Nina every two weeks and she is great. I will echo everyone else's comments, this is an exceptionally clean, friendly and polite nail salon. I had a one hour pedicure that was worth every single cent. Complimentary neck and shoulder massage to finish off your nail experience. Everyone from the receptionist at the front desk to the nail technician working on my nails was friendly,  cordial and above all professional. The place is so  clean you could likely eat off the floor in this place! I'm kidding but seriously. Two big screen TVs to keep you occupied should you choose to watch some TV. Nice soft music playing in the background and a wealth of magazines and a huge extensive collection of nail polishes from regular to no chip options. They offered up complementary water and I see that the place looks like it may even have wine service there. This place is really clean and nice atmosphere. The staff didn't ask me if I wanted a complimentary water or pop when they advertise that on the flyer. They do not have Essie polishes. It is hard to pick colors because they have it all numbered and you have to look at the swatches not the polish bottles because they are all numbered and in a certain order. The service I got was a manicure and they didn't go up to the cuticle. I am not sure why nail salons do this or you have to ask them to start the polish right by the cuticle. If you are diabetic or a bleeder, don't chance your health.  Avoid having a pedicure at this salon.  I had my nails done a month ago and was pleased with the service so I returned today to get a pedicure.  The $45 price was a tad high as were my expectations for something special.  The technician, while removing dead skin from my foot got a tad overzealous and sliced a thin layer of skin off my baby toe.  She immediately stated that she rubbed too hard on a scar on my toe.  Little did she know, I examine my feet almost daily...and there was no scar on the toe.  I told her so.  I asked her to stop lying and fess up to cutting my toe.  She finally apologized but failed to notify the manager or offer me a bandaid.  I am a very generous tipper but I opted not to give her a tip. I came here on Saturday, it hasn't even been a week and the manicure is falling apart. To be honest, it already looked like a mess before I even left the salon... but it kept getting worse with each passing day. I could have done a better job myself. Another thing to note is that they switched me around to 3 different stations and techs as soon as I got there, when I explained what I wanted to get done (a simple French manicure btw but to remove my no-chip polish first), ...they looked annoyed - as if it too hard to ask them to do their jobs. The first station they had me sit at, the male tech (who looked about 17 years old and was sitting on his phone the whole time until they called him over) gave me an attitude when I told him what wanted done, saying "I don't know how to do that. I go here for my pedicures. I've tried many I the area and I like this place the best. Their not usually overly crowded which I like. Everyone I've gotten in the past has done a good job but Damien is my favorite. He is very good & listens to what you like. He great at doing art on the nail if you like nail designs. My aunt raved about this place and it was only just okay. I'm 9 months pregnant so I really needed something to help my feet. My mom and I got pedicures. She went in 20 minutes early to put our names in. Then they took both of us but my pedicure still started 20 minutes after hers. When the guy sat down he didn't put any fizzies in my bowl like my mom got. Also it is hard to hold my legs straight because I'm fricken 9 months pregnant and the guy kept moving my legs in ways they just weren't going to go. Also the chair was stuck in this recline position and I was so uncomfortable the whole time because the button wouldn't work. He barely did massage. Like a 5 year old would have used more pressure. Then before putting color on he grabs the clippers and starts cutting a freckle on my toe!!!!! I said ow like 3 times then had to yank my foot away from him. He did not understand any English even though I thought ow was a universal noise.... I had to tell him to put an extra coat of paint on because it was supposed to be glitter. And he barely understood that. Then when he was finished I didn't even have a second to look at the nails before he was rushing me off the chair. There wasn't anyone waiting so really no reason to rush. After sitting there trying to adjust my body every 2 seconds so he could have a straight foot I was done anyways. I left there in more pain than when I arrived after working all day. A pedicure is supposed to be relaxing and that was just stressful. The polish didn't even look like the display chip I picked it from. I do not recommend this place at all. I cried the whole way home. Never again. I'm going back to my regular girl. Read Less

Very clean/great ambience/wonderful hand massage after manicure. First visit, my no chip chipped in a week. Second visit: explained and showed the length I wanted for my nails. I also said: 'not short'. Well, I left with my nails shorter then what they were prior to walking in. I've been trying to grow my nails out, so I was greatly upset by this. One of the women who works there(owner manager maybe?) came over to see what was wrong. I told her and she laughed at me and walke...d away! The nail tech did apologize, but he also initially said that my nails would grow back! So I had to pay for this service even though it was not what I asked for. Very clean and great ambience. Went two weeks ago for a no chip manicure. One nail chipped after one week and two more chipped the following day! I figured it was a fluke and I'll try them again. Well my nails haven't chipped so far but it's only been one day! I asked for active length on my nails. I also showed him how long/short I'd prefer the nail to be(to the tip of my finger). And I said: 'not short'. Well, I left with my nails shorter than what they were when I walked in. So telling and showing does not work??? I was very upset and I guess it showed on my face. The one woman who sits at the first chair working and greets all the people coming in (maybe the owner?) came over. I told her my nails were too short and it's not what I wanted. She laughed at me and walked away! The guy doing my nails did apologize, but before apologizing, he did tell me that my nails would grow back. I'm not stupid, I know this....but I had to pay for a service that did not meet my expectations. At least I had a coupon and didn't have to pay full price. The hand massage afterwards was great, but did not make up for the fact that I have to start all over again to grow out my nails. (And they grow slow!) I will not be going back because of this. Was in the salon today. They don't have a receptionist so someone working on another person asks you what you want without making eye contact. I get acrylic nails and I asked the person doing my nails if she could not use the drill to shave down my nail but she laughed and continued to do it. Just got my nails dipped for the first time. $40. 1) they don't even do a manicure on your nails first or cut off your cuticles 2) they used a drill when I told them no and that I want a file because other places do that 3) my nails look like crap. It was a good pedicure. Unfortunately, they didn't autoclave my tools prior to service. I picked up the pack of tools and the paper pouch had not been sterilized in the autoclave. They tried to use the "cheese grater" on my friend and I asked if that was autoclaved. The tech looked at me blankly. She then said "Razor." I said No that's not legal in the state of Illinois. THE BEST nail salon in Orland Park, actually in all of the suburbs. Everytime I walk in I'm quickly greeted by the owner and she asks what I would like. The salon itself is very pretty on the inside, very well kept and clean. They offer complimentary drinks as well!There's a wide variety of colors and finishes available. They have a gel dip which is pretty cool and long lasting.The lady who does my nails, knows what she's doing. Other nail salons have a habit of using really wide nail tips on my nails and making my actual nails look wider than they are, not here though. They choose the correct sizes and make them narrow without having to change the shape of the nail to "coffin or ballerina" shape. Read Less

This salon is beautiful and clean! The staff is amazing. Nina always does an outstanding job. She is so easy to get along with and always understands what I'm looking for.
