Worst gel mani ever. Chipped the same day. Staff were rude. Environment had a very cold/sterile feel. Spent $38 on a gel mani (not including tip) for nails that were messed up same day. Absolutely the worst nail place place in Orland. I hav3 had nothing but terrible experiences. I had not gone there in over a year when a tech threw his gum and face mask in my foot bath. Very unprofessional. But I thought I would try it today. The woman who seated to me seemed to engrossed in seating* other guests, try to soak my hands is scolding water when I said it was too hot, she rep,ied she knew. She then was not paying attention and was using the wrong side of the cuticle pusher and not even looking at my hands.she then kept pushing my hands into th3 still hot water after I pulled them out. It's been years since I've written a review but I'm compelled after my experience today.  I have come here since it opened and had good experiences in the past.  However, the last few times I've come the experience was poor and today was the final straw.  I came in for a pedicure, ready to read a book and relax (mom's don't get to do that much).  First, I noticed a scant selection of polish to choose from, which was frustrating.  The young gentleman who was working with me was very nice, but like every other employee there, I can't help to wonder if he was licensed (and how clean those tools are that they are using). Shortly after putting the exfoliating scrub on one leg, it started to burn and itch pretty badly.  I asked him to please help to rinse the scrub off my leg, as it felt like I was having a reaction.  He did but then proceeded to put it on my other leg.  I asked him not to, and then requested a towel because my first leg's irritation was getting increasingly worse. He accommodated this request and had asked if this had happened before, I told him never.  Once he helped me to dry off my legs, he didn't seem to know what to do so ended up just painting my nails and sent me on my way.  Total pedicure time: about 10 minutes.  As I sat in the main room with my nails drying, he gave me a full price amount.  I didn't challenge this, and presented a gift card and credit card, as GC had less than the cost of the service on it.  He didn't seem to know what to do, and asked another woman who may have been a manger?  She looked at me in anger, but somehow they made this seemingly difficult payment situation work and I paid in full.  I will not be coming back. Classy nails needs to change their name to trashy nails! Horrible job and experience!! No chip/shellacManicure is a joke--thick uneven polish and lets not to forget the actual manicure --instead of gently scraping off my old nail polish, the nail tech managed to use a machine to shave down my nail beds and proceeded to remove it with her finger nails and nail file. My entire nail beds were shaved off to where I felt irritation when I dipped my hands in water. Also, requested pointy nails and instead got square. I have been coming here for two years.  It seems like the service and quality of work has gotten progressively worse.  I had a regular lady doing my nails and pedicures and she abruptly left.  Now I get tossed around from technician to technician and they rush me, are rude and my nails crack and split away from my natural nail.  I have gone back twice and they have fixed them, but I think I am going to find a new place.  This was very convenient for me as it was literally three minutes from my house. Came in for a no chip removal. The older lady who put the foil on barely used any acetone. Then some other girl comes over to start removing it and of course it's still stuck on. She is scraping at my nail with her own nail not a tool of any kind. She pours more acetone on my nails and lets me sit again. Over 20 minutes with acetone soaking my fingers and my skin is now bright red and my nail polish still isn't removed.  Extremely unprofessional to keep taking new clients back without finishing what you started.  Absolutely would not recommend this place to anyone. I always bring my daughters when scouting for a new nail salon. It's the best way to gauge the customer service because I've found when they skimp on the kids, thinking you won't notice, it says volumes about their entire customer service philosophy.  This test proved me right again. Took my girls here with the intent of getting one full set, 3 pedicures, one mani, two painted designs, and one French ombre no-chip. All told, they were looking to make a couple hundred bucks.  Well, the ice-cold demeanor of the employees and sky-high prices removed the full set. More off-putting coldness and we decided to completely forego all manicures. Pedicures were mediocre at best, though I will say their pedicure suite was remarkably clean and pleasant. But massages clearly weren't on their agenda, my youngest barely got buffed at all from the gruff tech who serviced her, and my 16 year old got a very basic, mediocre job. The design I had requested about five times during the pedi? Nope. Tech didn't even bother to acknowledge this request. Which is why I didn't bother to tip a single one of them.Why it's so hard to get a good mani/pedi in a clean, pleasant environment from folks who act happy to see you is absolutely beyond me. So disappointing. I received a recommendation from a family friend to see Rose at Classy Nails. They were very busy, and Rose (the owner) was very nervous while doing my "no chip" (gel) nails, because it was getting very busy. She turned no customers away, though some with appointments waited over 1/2 hour. She over-cut my cuticles (they are now infected), poorly painted my nails (they have pools of gel at the cuticles and were coming loose after 1 day!) and charged $38 for un-cured polish (the polish is still soft after three days). Rose was very rough, multiple cuticles still bleeding, and was not kind. Worst manicure ever - regular or gel. Rose gushed when return customers arrived, so you probably are okay - regulars. But new customers, don't do it. After 4 days, my cuticles are infected and sore, polish looks like a 4th grader applied, and money was poorly spent. Unable to see how poorly the job was done (without my glasses) I even over-tipped. Worst manicure EVER. Update: these nails were chipping and ripping in less than a week. Had to get a new manicure in less than a week. My cuticles are still healing after the bleeding. Worst, most expensive manicure ever. Read Less

I don't care for this Nail Salon. I was excited the first time I went. Everything was great. Every time after got worse. I had one tech filing my big toe lottery file a cut into my skin she was filing back & fourth so hard & fast. Once I said "It hurts" she looked and saw what she did. She went & got some liquid stuff to put on it that burned like crazy! The workers aren't the friendliest here. I wouldn't even rate this place with one star but in order to post my review I had to rate it. Look at these nails... a joke right? I wish. My sisters and I came and paid so much for leaving with just so much disapointment rather than satisfication. I complained after they were done just for them to ignore me then I even called and complained and whoever was talking (a guy) asked how old I was and said I was disrespectful because I called and complained, HA. Anyways, I do not recommend this place at all. My 9 year old sister does better nails than these! I honestly could have done them my self and saved the $100 my sisters and I paid. If only I could give 0 stars. I've been going to classy nails for 5 years. My mom and I usually go together every other week and get no chip manicures and pedicures (spending roughly $80 each). There have been a few times I have felt unsatisified with the customer service/professionalism and quality of work, but not to the extent that I would never go back. Well today that changed. I called to see how busy they were, and Rosie answered and said come in now, I can do it now. I get there and surprise, she says someone else is going to do my no chip and pedicure (that was frustrating because Rosie seems to be the only person who can cut my ingrown toenail, I'm a RN on my feet for 14 hours a day and I basically only get pedicures to relieve the hurting in the corner of my big toe) I said that was fine and asked if she would atleast do my ingrown and she said he could do it. Well he tried...and he just wasn't getting it. I asked rosie if she would do it and she looks at me and says "no not today, I have other customers." I was speechless...seriously, I'm paying $48 dollars for a pedicure and I'm not getting the results I want. Honestly the pedicure was great other than that, the guy kept saying he was sorry she was so rude. I felt bad for him. Most people would have refused to pay, of course I didn't do that, I paid my $78 bill and I left the guy $10. Stared at by some old lady, allegedly "working" then barked at to "pick a color" Lost sunglasses with no assistance from the manager other than lack of empathy and asked "to take a seat". I have always gone here to get my pedicures and fill ins never had a problem. I got the dip done from another nail shop and lasted a month. Decided to try this place out and they were chipping the first night. I was away for the weekend and 5 of 10 were chipped away. I went in for a refund and they told me that it was them it was me. I tried to explain to them this wasnt my first one i know how long they last at other places. They said i should of came back after they chipped and i told them i was out of town. The only reason I'm giving this place a one star rating is because there's no option for no stars. Until today, I came to this place religiously. I have never in my life witnessed such horrible customer service.Last week, about nine day ago, I brought my sister (who is wheelchair bound) to get her nails done. She decided to go with the "no chip" manicure, because lets face it no chip is the way to go. Since then about 8/10 of her nails have chipped or started peeling. Mind you, she is in a wheelchair and does not use her hands for anything that would cause chipping on a regular manicure, let alone a no chip.I brought her back today and the woman there was horrible. Insisted she remembered us being there more that two weeks ago and asked all of the employees there if they remember, each of them answered back in Vietnamese, so I have no idea what they even said. She then went on to tell us they would fix them "no charge" and then quickly changed that to her charging us. When my sister said "no thanks, I'll just take them off then" she tried to charge her for that too. In the ten minutes we've been home she has very easily peeled every single one off, any of you who have had no chip manicures know that it is not supposed to be that easy and you have to literally soak them in pure acetone to get them off.As I mentioned, I used to come here every other week and always brought friends/family. When I mentioned that to her she said "yes, I remember you". I told her that I will not be coming back she wouldn't even look at me and nastily said "ok".After looking at a girl in a wheelchair and being told that she does not use her hands enough for this to happen she still was not sympathetic. Being a business owner myself I know this is not the way customers are meant to be treated, let alone loyal customers.Needless to say, I will not be back and I will be warning all of my friends and family about the poor customer service at this establishment. This was the fastest, least attentive manicure I have ever had. The entire time I was there, I felt like I was inconveniencing the man doing my nails. I was with a couple of friends and though my manicure started at least 5 minutes later than theirs, I was finished more than five minutes earlier than they were.Everything was abbreviated, if not completely eliminated. My cuticles were not pushed back on every nail (only two)- so two days later it looked like my polish had grown out a week's worth. The edges were extremely sloppy- making matters worse when you could see the top edge after a couple of days' growth. One nail didn't get a uniform second coat, so I had sheer spots. I left with polish on my cuticles. The arm/hand massage was painful. He pulled and kneaded my hands so hard they throbbed and hurt the rest of the day. The cuticle trim was efficient and decent. However, he did not file every nail or even ask if I wanted a uniform length. Those that were filed were squared off instead of the slightly rounded edge I had walked in with. In fact, no one in our party was asked what shape nail they preferred. All of us walked out with square nails and felt like we'd gotten a Mob Wives manicure.At the end, I was plopped in front of a nail dryer and never spoken to again. Three of us were in and out in less than a half hour.I had to go home and do damage control; reshape my nails and remove polish from the cuticles. What I really wanted to do was take it all off and start over myself- but I couldn't bring myself to do it.I should note that my friends received a slightly better manicure than I did and they were treated in a friendlier manner. Overall, we did not feel the staff was professionally trained, thought the female manicurists were a bit more skilled.There was also a bit of a language barrier, which made communication during the manicure and the payment process a bit challenging. Two weeks ago myself and 4 other members of my family had mani/pedi for a wedding. Everyone that worked there were pleasant. But I felt that it was very misleading with the O.P.I. no chip that would last almost 2 weeks. I also had asked my girl if this would do any harm to the nail. The answer was no but that your nail would be stronger. None of us do acrylic nails or have regular manicures. Nor did she ever mention that this no chip was $20.00 more and has to be removed professinally . Not one of the three of us that had the no chip put on were told this. After I could not remove the polish with regular nail polish remover I called to find out that they will remove it for $10.00 or "discounted " for only $5.00 with another manicure. This was a horrible experience and I would not recommend Classy Nails to anyone. Read Less
