i normally have pretty good experiences here but the other day when i went in to get acrylics the nail technician filed for a long time and cut me twice with the hand file. Went there for a fill in. Wait for a little while before being waited on. They lady took off my polish and then left me to do someone else’s nails. Then they gave me someone who must have just learned to do nails and it took her 2 hours to do a fill in. Then she didn’t know how to do the color I wanted and ended up giving me the wrong color. I told the manager and she seemed annoyed and didn’t say anything in English. They still charged me but didn’t say anything else. I was a fairly regular customer but not anymore. Read Less

Will not go back. This is the third time I've come here because I was in a hurry and it is close to my house. I got a pedicure and full set of acrylic nails. I asked for coffin shape, even showed her a photo, she charged me 5dollars and still no coffin. My toes will normally last 2 to 4 weeks, and it's been two days and they look awful! I haven't gone swimming so it's just a crappie job. I gave them chances because sometimes it's just the tech that isn't good. The manager there is very friendly and outgoing, she speaks perfect English and in her native language told the tech in front of me that i didn't tip her. I'M NOT OBLIGATED TO TIP YOU! Just left from getting a no chip mani and pedi, i have to say that i am extremely disappointed. My nails are crooked, there is polish on my skin, and still dead skin on my foot. I paid an extra 6 dollars for a scrub and there's still dead skin!!!! Not to mention the customer service was terrible, the owner and techs are extremely rude! I've been here a number of times and am mainly rating low because of the inconsistencies. Sometimes the customer service is ok and sometimes it's not as friendly. Some of the nail techs are experienced and some are not. Facility is not very clean and I have yet to see them bring out freshly sterilized tools. There are lots of gel color varieties! My no chip gel manicure has only lasted 3-5 days at best before it's either lifting or chipping. Gel polish was always applied too thick. My most recent visit, I took advantage of the $15 pedicure. The saying goes, "you get what you pay for." This particular time led me to the conclusion to not return. The pedicure was awful. The tech barely trimmed my cuticles and exfoliated my feet. The polish was lumpy, thick, and some toenails weren't even fully painted. The tech also got polish on my sandals and I had to point it out to her. She then wiped it with acetone and it removed some of the material from my shoe.  Also be sure to bring cash or you will get charged an additional $2 for use of your debit/credit card. Other places have slightly higher costs but it's well worth it to try your luck elsewhere. Read Less

This place DOES NOT look like the pictures posted on here at all. The one picture showing the brown and yellow walls is an accurate photo. Do not expect a modern classy place as shown in the other pictures. Visually, it is not appealing, however, they are super cheap. They charge $12 for manicures & $15 for pedis. Not bad considering other places in Orland Park. I've only gotten manicures and pedicures from here, and the outcome was good. The girl I've visited is very good and quick. Massage was great honey milk sea salt $10.. Friendly staff member the guy the owner very personable.. $15 pedi.. NOT bad I just have a thing 4 my cuticles n the bottom of my feet.. I think u should go over the cuticles at least twice... N w/o the blade on my feet the pumice stone should be used more and I shouldve soaked with some sort of foot scrub on my feet .. I just did the bottom once I got home.. Ill most def go back but wish they listen when I say no blade meaning scrubbing is required with foot soak n to buff my nails n shape them .. I shapped myself bc I like a square squoval look I like all my toes to be shaped not just my big toe n tap the foot with the nail file no do as if these are tiny fingers treat them the same as u would my hands Read Less

Went here with my sister for the $15 pedicure. I would give 5 stars, but we had an appointment for 2:00 and didn't get sat down until after 2:30. Of course, it was the holidays and they were super busy, but it would've been nice to know they were running so late. The employees were very nice and did a great job! The reason the pedicures are so cheap is because they offer the scrubs for a few extra dollars. But if you don't care and just want the basics, this place is great! Bought a Groupon hoping to find a place I can frequent.  Walked into a messy salon. Greeted by manager and told to pick color. After short wait, mgr seated me at table right at front. I paid for gel nails with no chip polish. The tech was quite fast but didn't speak any English so it seemed like forever since there was no conversation, not even"you like?" When time to polish, I noticed it was normal acrylics. When I tried to question, she shrugged and proceeded. The color I chose was thick so she put thinner in the bottle. I said I was concerned thinner would compromise the no chip longevity and she was irritated. I gave her a second choice color and that bottle was empty. So I picked a third. While painting she was trying to tell me thinner has no effect. When all done, I was asked by manager about pedi. I declined and she asked again. I declined again and said next time. Once home, I inspected nails and they looked ok. Not great but not awful. Not sure if I will go back. I want to see how they hold up after two weeks. I decided to try this place for the first time today, and I really liked them! I went in for a no chip manicure and a pedicure. Their prices are extremely reasonable! $15.00 pedicures!!! I upgraded to a paraffin wax pedicure and it was only $21.00 total. My total for everything was only $48.00 and they did a great job and the employees are very friendly and nice! I have been coming here for almost 2 years now and recommend this nail salon to everyone I know. They always offer amazing deals that you can't get at any other nail salon. $10 pedicure special on certain days? $15 winter pedicure special? They are very clean and always sanitizing and that has always stood out to me. I always request Sophia for my no-chip and designs she does a wonderful job, and I request Lexi for my pedicures she is so sweet and talented and gives an amazing massage so I always upgrade my pedicure with her. The service that I recieved was incredible (just a color change) and it lasted awhile without chipping. However, the salon itself is disgustingly dirty and unsanitary. SKIP IT !!!  Very Pushy, communication is horrible.   Pedicure was okay.  Water was only lukewarm. Full set horrible.  Havent had my nails done in a long time,  so it wasnt until afterwards that I realized she didnt sand or file at all.  Put on a polish and it was supposed to be something different!  My cuticles were never done and look awful! Nothing is their fault, they will blame you!  They are not friendly, the place was very messy.  Not a classy place.  Nails were lifting & catching on my hair the same day! What a waste of my hard earned money!   I have to have them re-done. I bought the groupon for a no chip manicure. I bought a pedicure also and it was great. The massage chair that they sat me in was possessed. It kept moving forward and backward on its own. We moved chairs and everything was great after that. They offer add on services including a couple massage options. I enjoyed a milk and honey massage for $10. The massage of my legs and feet lasted 10 minutes. The no manicure and polish was very well done. The staff were very nice. I will definitely be back. Read Less

Purchased a groupon for a no chip manicure, and would never go back again. The nail tech did a poor job removing my previous nail color and while filing/buffing my nails, she cut my skin on multiple fingers to the point I was bleeding and had to tell her that she kept catching my skin. Additionally, bubbles kept forming on my nails after I would pull them from the dryer. She would file the bubbles down and apply another coat, and  like magic the bubbles would continue to reappear. After a while of this charade, she finally told me the nail polish I picked was an old color and that's why it was bubbling. Long story short, she had to soak off the polish because there was no way I was leaving there with nasty bubbled nails, so I had to pick a different color out to have her completely redo my nails. Getting my nails done took an hour and forty five minutes, and it made me completely late to a hair appointment I had scheduled after. Not to mention - I had to skip the cuticle oil and lotion massage at the end because their incompetence made me so late to my following appointment. The nail tech and the owner both told me next time I come in (there will be no next time) that I shouldn't choose any colors from the selection that I originally did because they are all old colors and bubble up. My rebuttal to both women was they should not keep old nail polish colors on hand knowing they will bubble up on paying customers; those polishes should be immediately thrown in the garbage. Getting your nails done should be stress free and enjoyable, which this was nothing of the sort. Horrible service and quality, and they did absolutely nothing to try and compensate for the situation. Thee absolute BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE I've ever received at a nail salon. Each person was kind, respectful, attentive, and patient with customers. I am very particular about my nails because I have very dry cuticles. I expect them to be trimmed well so the finished nails look great - I did not have to give instructions at every turn. I've been at least 5 times now and I'm always met with the same service. My nails ALWAYS LOOK GREAT and last for 3 weeks even when I'm hard on them. Polished lounge is a hidden Orland Park gem. There service is fast professional and clean. They have fair prices and compared to the area they are less expensive. The nail salon doesn't have as many "frills" as salons in the area but it's fairly new so maybe some redecorating in the future. I go in and get gel nails about every two and a half weeks and the last. They have week day specials of pedicures. The technicians at Polished Lounge are professional and do an awesome Job. I picked out my color and Chris serviced me with a no chip and pedicure. Monica must have been the manager or owner because she checked in with me a few times to make sure I was doing okay (loved that). This Polished Lounge has new owners. It is not fancy inside at the moment, but the quality is great, and the prices are even better! You can get a pedicure for $15. Sophia did my nails, and they turned out perfect. Super Square and thin, just like I like them. It looks like they are doing some renovations, so the decor needs some work but the manager Joanne is super friendly and they have an unlimited amount of gel colors! I'll be going back. I couldn't stand my cracking heels and mess of a paint job on my toes any longer so I Yelped local nail salons and found Polished Lounge to run into for a pedicure. I asked for a Deluxe Pedicure and was offered three types of massage choices, hot stone, coconut salt scrub, and one other, I wasn't paying attention once I saw hot stone massage and knew that's what I wanted. Their massage chairs were great and comfy, the massage was awesome and relaxing, and the staff friendly. They have a decent selection of Essie, OPI, and other brands, as well as a whole wall of gel polish colors. And yay, no more cracked heels. My pedicure was awesome and I walked out, tip included, for a total of $30.00 and was also offered a sheet of coupons for my return visit which I would have gladly taken if I were coming back to the area in the near future Read Less
