I was there on Thursday May 24th. I chose a no chip yellow (71) with matching for toes. I sat in pedicure chair approx 15 mins before tech started, at least someone could have turned on water. The pedicure went fine, the color was fine. The mani started while in pedi chair. The tech ask me why you dont get dip, it's better for your nails, ohhh ok I'll try as long as you have same color as no chip. Yes yes we do, she brought sample back and the color was very similar. Upon completion of pedi I was moved to mani table but felt rushed because 8pm was approaching. Prior to completion the mani color was at least 3 shades lighter than sample, she said it will get darker after top coat.🤔 Ok. Upon completion still much lighter. ☹ . I was told ohhhh manufacturer change color and we dont know until it's used. The solution was to apply no chip color over top of dip. 🤨 she slaps color on, now im pissed. When paying I get charged 4 dip, why? Oh dip is a different, blah blah blah. But I wouldn't have gotten dip if I was told about the color. Ohhh next time dont get dip. We dont know bout color changes either. What? You don't know ur business? Poor excuses! I got $5 refund after complaining. Needless to say the no chip color is CHIPPING. I have been a customer since they opened, now they are slacking in service, the 2 sisters spend more time trying to be fabulous. Ummm. Well I will be going in 2day. Will review the results here. Yeah they def pissed me off... Now I was there two days ago and got no chip, I looked at my nail and seen that the no chip, chipped. I just spend $95 on nails and pedicure. (Princess) So I went in today with my daughter to get her a full set and have them fix my nail... They greedy ass wanted to charge me!!! I tip y’all asses great! Very unprofessional and rude. Make an appointment and they guarantee a time with seats together however when you show up, they don't honor your appointment and takes thirty minutes to get someone to accommodate you. This place over prices but because of such a nice ambiance you pay for it but honestly it's not worth it. Overpriced, regular nail tech work, better off going to some other neighborhood spot. I had a pretty good pedicure experience. My mum, sister and I got a deluxe pedicure ready for Christmas. As I walk around barefoot and have rather cracked heels, the lady who took care of my feet had a bit of a task ahead of her. I am happy with how they turned out and the time spent. The only downfalls were that the water was a little cool and the water jet wasn't functioning but I was made aware of this by the staff and they apologised. Although there is a little bit of a language barrier, I didn't find this an issue because the gentleman who was at the counter assisted with any translation, they were polite and wished us well for our evening. Went in for a basic pedi & Mani. Took 2 hours possibly a bit longer. The lady also over filled the foot bath flooding the floor & had the water to hot which scolded my feet. My polish didn't even last 24 hours before chipping off. First & Last time I'll be going there. Read Less

Bad customer service. SNS nail broke after 6 days and apparently it was due to 'wear and tear' i have never had this problem at other nail places, usually last 3-4weeks. I was asked to come in and see if i could qualify to get it fixed free or pay $10 to fix it (not worth the 20min drive) Decided to get it done somewhere else for $5. I was seen to promptly & asked several times what I would like done & told how much it would cost - which was good. Had S&N removed & shellac french manicure which I was very pleased with the results & have had lots of positive comments about. Terrible customer service.. Had my nails refilled with a thin layer of acrylic after they were hacked at with the drill and within 3 days, 3 of them had broken, had to wait another 3 days to get in to get them repaired and was told it wasn't free, they wanted to charge me $20 to repair when they all needed to be thicker, given the length AND should have been done properly the FIRST time.. I stood there arguing the point and wasted 10 mins of my precious time and could b...arely understand a word being said.. I just got a mani pedi 3 days ago on a Monday evening. While getting my pedicure the tech Vickie came back and said they didn’t have the nail polish to compliment my no chip and gave me (one that was close). Totally not even close to the nail color. Next as we just sat down to do my nails she was told her pedicure appointment was here. When I asked her to trim my nails she said better to file. As she sped through my nails she ended up filing after they were done because they were ragged. If she trimmed them this wouldn’t have happened. Didn’t feel welcomed even with 6 staff to 3 clients, wasn’t spoken to even when we tried to make conversation. 3 staff members standing at the counter looking at what looked like online shopping for dresses while the other rushed painting my friends nails to get back to the counter. Below poor if that were possible!! I have had the most embarrassing, annoying and frustrating encounters with this incompetent group. I have avoided saying anything on their review site up until now but now I am furious. I bought a gift voucher from them for a half hour manicure for a friends birthday gift. This was present two weeks ago and my friend had the manicure - which she said was adequate but was rather upset as only received 20 minutes of treatment whilst the s...taff chatted to each other, looked at her and laughed making her most uncomfortable. As it would be for anyone. Then she went to pay, presenting her voucher Well they would not honour it saying that it did not have a number on it and demanding to know 'how she got it' which implied that it had been stolen from them. Evidently the young Asian woman who sold it to me had omitted to fill in a voucher number or sign it. As I bought and paid for the voucher in good faith, I did not notice this omission. My friend told me of her experience and I went in to see Miss Manicure about it taking my receipt with me, but met with a stone wall of indifference and 'the manager is not here'. I left a note and my number and a few days later received a phone call from a young man who promised it would all be sorted out and he would phone again that evening. A week later I was still waiting so I phoned him only to once again be fobbed off. Last night I spoke to the manager, Solange, and arranged to see her this afternoon. Well I have just been in and she insisted that she had to keep my receipt and the voucher so "she could check on her system" and would phone me, I will believe that when it happens. Really we are talking about $30 not a fortune. So my advice is - if you want fair and honest Australian work, gift vouchers and personal treatment, don't go to this firm. In Mount Barker there is another far better one just a couple of blocks away where you really are pampered. I USED TO THINK THIS WAS A GREAT SALON! But in a little under a year, Villa Nails has become a trifling shell of its former self. Out of 3 appointments made with Ashley, 1 she was leaving when I walked in (10mins. early) and other 2 she just wasn't there! After all of this, I still tried one more time...Yesterday my appointment was for 5pm, I called because I was running 5-10 minutes late. The receptionist tells me Ashley isn't here, she's at Lollapalooza! I love this salon for spa pedicure services! I've been coming here for a few years now and have brought several friends.  I've never had a bad experience. I initially treated myself to the basic pedicure for $27 which was an excellent deal for the price. I now enjoy the cucumber and green tea pedicures that also include the paraffin treatment which leaves my feet feeling revived after long periods of standing or walking.  It's always pretty crowded here but you would expect that with great service.  I like that they acknowledge you as soon as you walk in and have an organized system for getting you serviced as soon as possible.  The complimentary beverages such as water and wine are also another great addition to the services here! I have to give Villa Nails one star and wish I could give less, but it's not for the no-dip gel manicure I received. It's for the service of Nicole. This was my first time getting a dip manicure, and I had questions. She answered my questions with no issues. I examined my hands after she completed each hand and noticed that my cuticles weren't as clean as I'd liked. I asked her to please fix the cuticle. Without any words, she did. She began talking to the technician next to her, and I couldn't understand what she was saying, but there was one word she kept saying that I clearly understood. She kept saying the N word. I thought I was hearing things, but it became clear that she was saying the N word. She was at the end of my manicure, and I didn't make a scene although other patrons began looking at me. The place does very good dip powder nails. Unfortunately my nail tech needs an attitude adjustment. If I ask you not to use "the drill" on my cuticles, that shouldn't be a reason to get an attitude. That's the lazy way. She made it seem like that was the only way you can get your cuticles pushed back. I've been getting my nails done since high school, I'm not naive to the fact that that is not the only way. In a crunch, I had to return to this nail salon a second time. Nails again were great! Got stuck with the same nail tech, and again her attitude sucks. It is like she doesn't want you to say anything or ask her anything about your nails.The other thing I absolutely did not like, was at the end they charged me more. When I asked why the reason was because my "nails are long". Yet, it is not stated anywhere in the brochure, that there is an extra charge. They told me it was in the computer. As a consumer that doesn't help me nor doest it show me. The nail tech should have told me if that really was the price. I will never go back I spent 85 bucks plus a 18 dollar tip and my nails were not filed down properly and my feet still have a ton of dead skin on them. Had I realized my feet were not done properly while there I would of said something. My thumb nails are so wide. It was not with the 100 bucks. I will not be going back. I now have to pay someone else to fix my nails for my engagment pics this weekend. So now I'm out 130+ dollars. A friend of mine went with me and her feet were not done right either and the girl who did her nails cut into one of her fingers. So we were both out 100 bucks. It was not worth it.Read Less

Positives... this place is clean. They open up their sterilized utensils right in front of you and they use liners in their pedicure chairs. Negatives... they're pushy.. really pushy. I've come here for a relaxing experience not to listen to you peddle your products and other services that I clearly did not ask for. If I ask solely for a regular pedicure than that's what I want. Their nail polishes are old and most are dried up and are in no particular order. Also.. this is a lingering question with most nail places.. what's the rush? If you are charging me $27 for a regular pedicure then I want my money's worth. Take your time.. your tip will reflect that.
