I think this was the third time I was here.  Intimate divey bar with karaoke and slots.  What's not to like?  Not a large variety of flavored liquor but they seem to have all the popular bar standards.  Guest KJ was delightful.  Small dance floor but I'm thinking you come to either drink or sing. Video slots paid for my drinks and then some.  Noise level was loud enough to make you think "party atmosphere" but not so loud that you couldn't chat with the person next to you.  Budget friendly prices.  My only dig is that it's not accessible if you have a wheel chair so I knocked off a star.  Bar tender was attentive, friendly and competent.  You can't ask for much more. I can't say it has great dive potential because it's 40 years old. Every bit 40 of years old. 40 years of character and nuance that only a fabulous dive bar, salt of the earth clientele can provide. I hit it twice to sponge in the character and it was quiet and slow but the barkeep made it friendly, beer was cold, and the walls screamed of Southside stories that only a full night of Old Styles and an uber could unlock. This is the place to end your night. The decor is Circa 1975 hotel lounge Straight Out of The Blues Brothers Murph and the magic tones esque. But there is no better place to find yourself at 1 o'clock in the morning if you're hankering to do some karaoke.  Last time I was there the owner brought all 6 of us on the stage.  we ended the night with the weirdest rendition of Turn the page ever sung in history. Dive bar, definitely BUT it's so much fun! We went on a Saturday night to sing karaoke with some friends & had an amazing time! All of the employees were so nice & they make a pretty strong drink... I was a little peeved that they ran out of Captain,  but I moved on lol Cash only peeps.  Atm on site though. Read Less

This can look like a local bar for only local people, but they are friendly and welcoming. There is karaoke every night, and if you're bad at singing you won't be judged. The drinks are cheap, staff is nice, but the place may need some touch ups.Read Less

I went for the first time November 2008. It was a great time! We closed down the place! The decor is kitchy and the owner is friendly and owns his own equipment so the song book is as thick as your waist.....drinks are cheap and the locals sing pretty darn good!
